  • Stupid Dim.

  • @BiHC18 ... Right right...

  • @universaleffect It makes you think, I assume.

  • Truly this Movie was the one of the greatest of all time, made from a literary masterpiece. Really horrorshow.

  • South Park!!!!!!!

  • My version here:

    /watch?v=1F2aw-B3OIk

    :)

  • What's the song that this fight scene is set to?

  • @acyr The thieving magpie.

  • what part is this bit in the film. . . . .

  • why cant i share this on facebook??

  • @reverendvincent Because Facebook is stupid.

  • @reverendvincent

    Because facebook is fo fags

  • love the epic music when he grabs the knife :)

  • This scene is like gorgeousness and gorgosity made flesh.

  • i think its really master piece from the mr stanlee kubrick imagination, this is a great example of symphony and destruction in a beautyful armony. Its a great miracle to combine the pleasure of anihilation by yourself against the psiquis and laws of the men. Thanks for uploaded it

  • whats the name of the song?

    p.s. coon and friends

  • @Douglont Rossini's The Thieving Magpie.

  • coon and friends hahahaha

  • what happend to the other guy??

  • @mavvodo he was never against Alex, so Alex let him go

  • M and my mates have a futurist band called Droogolator: we dress and act exactly like Alex and his mates in our onstage act. On our debut show,we stripped a girl naked on stage, and we have been subsequently banned from every UK venue ever since.

  • @rabsmiff u are just a bunch of morons, period.

  • @azzleeka what we do is ART, and we strip a woman naked onstage to make a shock statement, not for dubious gratification...it's nice work, AND we get paid for it-----sure beats working!

  • Depois deste filme, a abertura de La Gazza Ladra nunca mais foi a mesma :)

  • @marlondiasbr por que?

  • @comediant1 toda vez que eu ouço, me lembro do filme...

  • I was working at the place this scene was filmed at last week, the tavy bridge estate thamesmead in south london, trust me the place looks very dodgy,on the edge of the estate is a pub right opposite the pub is a gypsy camp ,enough said

  • You can see how films like The Warriors copied this scene.

    Both very entertaining movies, indeed!

  • 0:38 Right in the yarbles LOL This scene is so funny

  • hahaha i saw this movie when i was 7

  • hahah you probobly had no idea what was happening

  • @EdwhinFilms same i was horrified but i saw this last friday and realize how genius this movie was i think im going to read the book i wanna see how it compares to kubricks amazing cinematography

  • @kingcole55 i totally agree with you this movie is amazing :))

  • ... Wow... Alex is an asshole...

  • he is an asshole but the droogs really needed to be put in their place.andif u watched the movie, georgie would have made a horrible leader.

  • yeah, i watched the movie and george is one retarded ass motherfucker WOULD have made a HORRIBLE leader! And also, A Clockwork Orange movie KICKED ASS UNTIL SHIT COMES OUT YOUR NOSTRILS!

  • I'm interested in buiying the book, wich version is better, the american or the english?

  • They're the same, except that the old American edition has the last chapter cut out. Newer editions are complete, though.

  • the english.the american version does not include the last chapter.

  • thinking was for the gloopy ones and the oomny ones use like inspiration and what Bog sends

  • Interesting to see the number of lighting mistakes in between shots.

It goes from the sun reflecting in the lake, to no sun and back, as if they shot the scene on different days and spliced it together.

Also, Georgie disappears in the water in one scene, and reappears.

  • Nothing like a bit of Ultra-Violence

  • what are buds for!

  • Brilliance in all areas.

  • no offense critchy but i always see you commenting on all the clockwork orange videos about the same thing. how much of a badass you were when you were young. its getting kind of old, no one gives a fuck about how sexy and vicious you were. youre one egotistical motherfucker

  • @Critchy39 If only you had his mind as well...

  • No, some people truly cannot bring themselves to think deeply about anything. It`s just a fact. Some people just want to see nonsense, violence, and idiocy. They desire nothing intellectual. They shouldn`t spend money on films that are above their comprehension because they will only be bored. They will gush over the "brilliance" of utter shit and try to insult the more meaningful films; call them boring, dull, etc. because people are offended by what they cannot understand.

  • you could not be more correct. some people lack the cognitive capacity to actually look beyond what the see

  • @shrikechan Your pretensions are unwarranted. You only have the right to be condescending regarding endeavors of the mind if you are on the level of Tesla, Einstein, Euler, etc. You probably couldn't tell anyone how a computer works in all of its complexity or anything else for that matter. Don't inflate your ego when you're nothing -- it's pathetic.

  • Alex is so hot!!

  • Obviously you can't spell boring, so you wouldn't understand the brilliance of this film. The thing with the ending Kubrick gave you the job of deciding if Alex goes back to ultra-violence, or if a man can really change. The book shows that you can't change. And, If you like the book read the fucking book, the movie is Kubricks own rendition of the book. Both are beautiful in it's own chaotic ways.

  • Im so sorry about my opinion... You dont have to get so angry if somebody doesn't like things you like. And if people dont agree with you, it doesn't allways mean they dont "understand the brilliance" of something.

  • In the novel, Alex gets bored with the ultraviolent, and decides he wants a wife and child, in what way does that show that you can't change?

  • I've never read it, but based on some of the comments, doesn't he get brainwashed?

  • @ Crazyshark70:

No, just like in the film the government un-brainwash him by fiddling with his brain. He goes back to the ultraviolent with new droogs but gets bored and leaves. He sees Pete with his wife acting like a grown-up and realises that that's what he wants. He makes the decision on his oddy-knocky.

  • I see your point in the way that the movie gets boring after 40 minutes, but thats only means that your not a real movie go-er so you don't appreciate the rest of the movie which has real meaning to it. You only like the first 40 minutes more than the rest cos it has lots a action scenes like the rape scenes and the gang fight, but the when your brain needs to focus on the important parts of the movie you just tuned out because your brain can't handle actually concentrating.

  • Yeah, I must be fucking retard if i dont love this film from the begin to the end.

  • I wouldn't call the movie boring, but the first half is definitely better than the second half. I think this is because we are witnessed to Alex being unleashed against society. In the second half, he is subdued by the government and its as if we want to see the old Alex back, as despicable a human being that he is. That's just my opinion. Everyone has opinions, and you should respect them whether you agree or not.

  • I know it's going off topic but "Everyone has opinions, and you should respect them whether you agree or not" was one of the stupidest statements i've ever read, so what your saying is that we should all respect the KKK because their opinion is blacks, latinos and jews are ruining the world? Lol.

  • when i said respect other peoples opinions, i was referring to film reviews in general. Movies are completely subjective, and everyone has opinions. Just because someone doesn't enjoy the second half of the movie does not mean that their "brain can't handle actually concentrating".

  • You obviously do not get what I said originally.

  • one of the wierdest movies i ever seen but loved it at the same timethanks to cable TV back in the mid 80s

  • I read the book, but I haven't watched the full movie yet. The book was so freaking powerful and impressive that I still can remember the slangs that Alex used in it. Anthony Burguess was brilliant.

  • Mmmmm... Have you read the english version or the american one?

  • best scene was the break-in/rape

  • lol peter was like "oh shit! i got to go to collage!"

  • one of the best movies of all time!

  • This is my favorite scene in the whole movie. It's so beautifully coordinated, so exquisite and deeply disturbing in its imagery at the same time.

  • i remember alex living it up in hospital at the end

  • what i didnt love about this movie is alex who was the victim in the end. despite he deserved to die becuse hes a pshyco

  • No one deserves to die, unless your name is Heinrich Himmler, Kim Jong Il or Osama Bin Laden.

  • But that's the insidious irony of it. We aren't supposed to feel sorry for Alex.

  • But we do...I mean i belive most people like him...

  • I think the whole thing of making the viewers feel sorry for Alex is one of the biggest mind-effs of the movie/book. If Sadam deserves to die though, I'm pretty darn Alex does too. To actually gang-rape a wife and forcing the husband to watch it requires some worse than beast-like barbarism, even though I'm very aware of being a minority of that opinion.

  • Haha. Almost like a ballet.

  • That's genius XD

  • hmm could be

  • Ok so I realize we're supposed to hate alex, because of what he does but I honestly think he's pretty sexy and he has this charm about him

  • Those qualities probably helped him a great deal with his political career that he assumes at the end of the movie!

  • I agree

  • We're not supposed to hate Alex. He's supposed to be charming/charismatic and appealing to the reader/watcher's sympathy in that sense, despite of his gruesome acts. This ties in with the whole theme of right/wrong/just/unjust/morality because in the end, for better or worse, free will is what makes us human.

  • @bilwit It's like an eclipse to 1984, eh?

  • my favorite scene.

  • mine too

  • The Thieving Magpie - Rossini

  • damn. next scene was a threesome too

  • I always thought that this movie was a satire on conformity and government regulation. The violence is just Kubrick's avenue for propelling the story. Kubrick probably also realized that anybody without the intellect to derive this movies' message would none-the-less be enveloped by its raw, unadultered brutality.

  • My favourite scene in Clockwork Orange by a mile..

  • What's the name of the song in the background?

  • this is one of my favorite movies, and this is my favorite scene

  • And Alex kicks some ass.

  • gosh. that ladd, alex<3

  • Damn straight

  • Ebert's an idiot for not liking this movie.

  • such a great story

  • This director can go more far away beyond eyes.

  • This movie never let me blink.

  • I know the film near enough word for word and I could never get bored of it. I take my hat off to Stanley Kubrick, the creator of THE best film ever filled with wonderful twists and important life lessons. One thing I do find disturbing though is all of these people on youtube changing the music on the scenes, why mess with perfection?

  • because messing with perfection can still be art baby! You know that...c'mon give the kids their props! Peace...J.O...

  • Messing with a Kubrick film is a like a sin.

  • Hmm I reckon the fact that people add different music (that doesn't work) just emphasises the perfection of old Stanley in contrast.

  • A CLOCKWORK ORANGE is one of the few perfect films ever made, and the greatest ever made about the nature of violence. This scene in particular is funny, horrifying, ironic and disturbing, all at the same time. A unique picture.
