The game is easy for me, probably because I use the SHRED board and not the Ride board, and yes the SHRED board does work on Ride! So go buy just the SHRED board and it will be easier for you. Just so you know...

Meh... I'd pick Skate 3 (which I do own) over this any day. If I really would want to stand on a board, I'd just go outside. Too bad they can't quite re-capture the magic the first releases had. I must've played all of them up to Project 8. Underground was without a doubt the one that I enjoyed the most. It just has such a sweet story to it. Underground 2 had a great story too but the game became just a bit too unrealistic. Still, great part of my childhood.

i skateboard and i have no problem with the concept of this game because it would be nice to skate big gaps and do tricks i can't physically do in real life without seriously harming myself. On a peripheral board that would be the closes to doing that in real life. Playing ea's skate is no better than this (Im not talking about the actual gameplay), your still playing a skate game instead of going outside and actually skating. Im just saying i like the idea, i just wish the game was better
