Alice's Christianity doesn't have anything to do with his musical talent..He says in many interviews that he's a christian who happens to do hard rock...and also, his on-stage show is COMPLETELY different than what he is in real life.
And he never said in this interview that he "Hated" these Black Metal bands...

Alice is right, I think most Black Metal bands are not into Satan, Just into Halloween like me but they don't understand you can be any type metal without claiming to be into satan, I am Christian and I love Horror and Metal.Why would someone want to goto Hell or hang with Satan. I just never understood it.

No, he's not. And I kind of know where he's coming from too. In Alice's day, he was probably the scariest artist in the whole music biz, but in real life, he's always been a very nice, down-to-earth, harmless person. So why should he expect black metal to be any different?
