one question. tv antenna recives radio waves. the last time i put an object that recives raidio waves near my computer the computers sound system went wierd and my computer started to be act strangely. so what will happen with a antenna ? I still lov ewindows media center though.

I use Macs for my production and podcasting.

However I've found nothing on the Mac than can beat Windows Media Centre for use as a home theatre computer.

Front Row and the Apple TV would be useless to me as they cant do live TV and nor do they have any DVR functionality.

@gomemdesoto That's because Apple doesn't want to derive attention away from iTunes by default. Which I personally like better. I never use live TV.

I know you have vmware, but you aren't using it correctly, those problems are non-existent on my usage of vmware workstation. I the only thing I can say its your mac lol.

They are not my PCs, When did I say both PCs. It is my friend, and I don't have fun with them, I don't use them. I use a Mac, because they actually work.

lies, mac is still has a low market share, in fact more of the market share was lost from pirates than people buying macs.

I'm not talking about the market. Geez. I'm talking about the industry growth, which Mac had a way higher percentage of. Mac's market share is about %20, the revenue is about %34, but the industry growth was 2X the PC growth.

so not a problem, just because it grow better a certain year, does not mean it has bigger sells. I know for sure the sells will probably increase after windows 7 is released because xp users can finally flock to it.

If it sucks, why is it so good in the industry. Just about every movie you see, and every song you here was produced on a Mac. Mac OS came before Windows, Mac had many things before Windows. Mac is doing better than ever now, and Vista is having lawsuit problems, because it sucks.

yes mac had many crappy things before windows, but as you know mac would not be the crappy (to you "good") mac it is today without Microsoft's innovation, btw most movies and films are produced with programs and rendering gpu's supplied by nvidia, which coincidentally run on windows pc's for best performance. a nvidia Tesla rig would simply crunch, munch, smash, and bash any mac. PERIOD. Tesla vs mac, 300x more computing power than mac.
