should not have won the semi as the Welsh had them on the ropes down to 14 (and without their captain who was way to eager unfortunately for Wales) for most of the match, then they produce the one big performance in the second half of the final vs an AB side with their 4th choice at out-half. That the French are considered the real world champs is a COMPLETE joke that nobody other than AB haters (of which I can be one when they are trouncing my team) can adhere to!
@Junsterification But we're not talking about the semi-final. The simple fact is: France outplayed NZ and were the legitimate winners of the final. I don't hate NZ, I'm just telling you what I saw, along with millions of other rugby fans around the world.
As to who deserves to win the WC, only someone who saw the competition blindfolded could say that France even deserved to be in the final. Once they were there they had nothing to lose. Some like Rougerie clearly showed how far they were willing to go! Had they won it would have been a travesty! Let me recap: they struggled vs Japan, were well beaten by the ABs and Tonga (late French consolation try flattered the score), did well vs an English side (more concerned by their off-field exploits),
There are so many situations that are very contentious around the rucks that it is near on impossible to get every call right. What looks like a penalty by one (albeit slightly biased) supporter for eg. being off one's feet whilst contesting in a ruck can also be deemed like a penalty by the other (biased) supporter for not releasing or sealing off the ball! I think Joubert was the best ref in this WC although it appears he may not have been in the final. At least he didn't whistle all the time.
@Kr8mer you are talking about world class players. It should not matter where the kicks are mede. The kicker had confidence the he coulkd make the kick and the kicks do matter because every point counts. Do you know the game of rugby at all? When a penalty have been given, the team has the following choices; Kick for goal, kick for touch (Which will allow them to have the throw in), scrum or tap the ball. France chose to kick and missed. Get over yourself and move on.
@Kr8mer "Fixed" game you say. Hmm New Zealand hold the tournament, Paddy O'Brian, Head of the Rugby Referee Association (Whatever it is) Seems fixed. So then, did we pay the French kicker to miss all the opportunities France had been given? If that French guy nailed all his kicks then France would have walked away with the cup. Watch the game again and count the misses he made.
@scartice France had the harder kicks, the ref was pretty good at giving NZ more kickable penalties. Anyway, it's not about how many kicks are missed - if it was, they'd abandon the game and have a kicking contest. It was pretty obvious to neutrals that NZ were awarded penalties where France had done nothing wrong, and France were denied an abundance of penalties.
hahaha what a bunch of sore losers. of coarse its easy to annalize infringments after the game, cos we have the advantage of slow motion tv. i've noticed that these fuckwits have only annalized the all blacks infringments. anyways it does'nt matter. we have the world cup and now we are happy for the next 4 years. there so take that you all blacks haters hahaha
@cstrobel86 You may have been given a cup at the end of a fixed game, but you don't have the glory. Your "victory" is as legitimate as Vladimir Putin's.
@Kr8mer hahaha you funny. fixed game hahaha. just 1 thing i got to say WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS MY FREIND. ooooo that must hurt you aye BOY hahahah. kiwi pride my freind and there aint nothing you can do about it cos we got the cup. iM still laughing at everyones FIXED GAME excuse. hahahahahahaha
@cstrobel86 Doesn't hurt me at all. I'm not French. Just pointing out that NZ aren't recognised as legitimate winners because the ref helped them win. Everyone outside of NZ thinks that.
@cstrobel86 Before the game I wasn't supporting either team, just wanted a good rugby match. The UK commentators were consistently picking up the ref's pro-NZ bias without any need for slow-mo replays. It doesn't matter how many times you chant like children "We've got the cup" - outside of your little kiwi bubble, no-one else has any respect for the result. The 2011 RWC final will always be remembered by rugby fans around the world as a French win and a final ruined by a biased ref.
@TT76472 and i would wager that you were a whinging, crybaby like every kiwi i know, when barnes missed the forward pass in '07, sorry mate but a nation who still collectively whinges about australia bowling under arm in the cricket 20 something years has no right to call anyone a sore loser. thats like australia complaining about nz being poor winners!
France definately won the second half and played better than NZ but it was the brilliant AB's defence and pressure they managed to absorb which won them the game. France also missed a few crucial penalty kicks and had a few misopportunites. It wasn't a pretty win but a win's a win.
@eddyd63 Do you play sport? Players always push the rules to the its limits. If the referee calls it then so be it, if the referee misses it, play on. Play to the referee. All countries that took part in the World Cup pushed the rules to its limit. Some were called be the referee, some were missed. We can watch replays all we like and judge but in the moment things are very different. @Kr8mer, no, New Zealand are the World Champs. We got the cup to prove it.
@Emirates419 England won the world cup HONESTLY in 2003, courtesy of being the better team in the final. Everybody acclaimed England as worthy champions. There has not been one word of acclaim for NZ outside of their own country. Why? Because the final was a sham. It doesn't matter that they were handed the trophy at the end - sorry mate, it means nothing.
It means nothing that they still scored the same amount of tries as the team they played against? and held out even though their team was broken and exhausted, france won their games through sluggish play and luck, it wasnt till the final they tried to take advantage of a tired team.
@TT76472 NZ choked badly in the final, as they always do against France in the world cup. The ref was blatantly bias, and gave the game to a poor NZ. This travesty will always be remembered by true rugby fans.
@Kr8mer A poor NZ still won the World Cup for a second time my friend. And a poor NZ is the most winningest Sports Team of all time. Thats what is remembered by true rugby fans.
yeah but they didnt. Wales having lost 3 games didnt deserve to win either even though they put so much effort and heart into it. The ABs played to their highest standard in all their game and were tired and fatigued by the final whereas the french had played the safe route and their players were fit and ready to play, I dont think they deserved to win but yes that final would have been won by france possibly if the penalties were allowed.
@loolfactorie comes down to the basic fact that, as this video shows, and everyone that I watched the final with, screaming at the TV, France are the true world champs as the ref refused to give them the penalties they deserved. How can you deny what this video is showing. NZ are constantly allowed to do things on a rugby pitch that other international teams aren't.
I didnt, read my comment. NZ dont do anything anymore than anyone else *cough* wales breaking peoples spines *cough*. France played well in the final but the way they played overall was pretty poor. I thought wales did well but everyone is going way too over the top, they didnt play anywhere near as good as NZ did in the cup, yeah they'll be good in the next world cup but they clearly werent the best in the last one
Yeah after losing two pools games, one to tonga, we all know that...
The fact is allblacks played WAY better than anyother team throughout the world cup, it wasnt till the final france pulled it together, but nonetheless neither team played bad, just france showed greater courage but still lost.
@loolfactorie this is a joke right ? ever heard of wales ? wales were by a country mile the best team in the tournament. NZ played one good game, against Aus. The final was won because the ref couldn't handle the pressure of giving france these penalties that they thoroughly deserved, and therefore to win the final.
@dickydom9 As much as i like wales, they lost to SA, who lost to aus, who lost to nz and then you lost to aus for 3rd place. In 2015 you'll be dangerous but you were second best compared to the thrashing the AB's gave to each team they played. France played badly and unleashed their force in the final, the AB's where tired and fatigued by then. I'm also English but the way they play I prefer wales, I also have NZ heritage so i support them too.
Have any of you refereed a Rugby game before??? Have any of you refereed any sport??? If you have then you understand that a referee misses a few things in a game. I am a born New Zealander and a 100% suporter of the All Blacks but I do beleive the better team lost that day. Not becouse of the referee but because the All Blacks had more heart. France did not let the All Blacks play All Black rugby. Unfortunatly for France, New Zealand won. We had the most determination and the most heart.
@scartice Hi There mate. I completely agree with everything you just said. I'm a fully qualified rugby referee and you can't see everything in a game. Joubert may have had a bad game this time but we all do don't we? I play also and I'm the worst for backchatting the referee...you just can't see everything and especially when the game's in such a pool like the world cup. NZ had the most heart they won, France just bad luck. You can't blame the referee for everything can you seriously?
This is why rugby is the hardest game on earth to ref.. Personally I think the ref was fair to both teams. These idiots clearly don't understand what rugby is if they think kaino can't compete for the ball ! Pretty sure the ref had one of the best views at the breakdown..
Please do not insult Mr. Joubert! every country in the world except New Zealand is fooled! I thought these methods were unfortunately not last past him to live well with this shame and through it we do not win a game without a challenge at the expense of another team ......
Finally thank you for everything Mr. best referee in the world!!
Look at 1'11'' : Smith is off side and Kaino is off his feet with hands on the ball. So Mas can't support Hari. Joubert should have awarded a penalty for this one. But anyway, you won we lost. So be it.
the truth is we won france choked and the rest of you including these dorks on this video need to look forward to when we take it out in 2015. thanks losers! lol
@bombertheelephant Actually, my friend, it was the referee that "choked". If he had had the courage to play his part in the match, France would probably have won.
@Jack72824 BULLSHIT-excuses dont win games mate, points do, All Blacks won that game because they scored more and had outstanding defense. There is a REASON why they are considered the best rugby team in the world. They beat France TWICE, not because of the referee but because theyre better athletes
@Jack72824 If the refs had any balls France would not be in the finals. Seems to me that the French had their chances and CHOKED can;t help thinking that those frogs and these idiots on this video buy much into karma cause it sure looks like it to me... 4 more years for the world except the French who will not make the finals again for at least 3 RWC tournaments... so sad too bad ABs world cup champs for next 4 years... move along.
"France had their chance and blew it, thats all there is to it" - Actually France did not get their chance because Joubert/O'Brien made sure that they didn't and it's not just me that is stating that fact. But if you cannot accept an unpalatable truth then that's your problem.
Could be that we now have a situation where 2 different sets of Rugby laws apply. Those laws which apply or don't apply when NZ are playing and those laws which apply to the rest of the rugby world. In the interests of fairness, the referee should then declare before the game under which set of laws the game is about to be played. Can't get fairer than that but then perhaps Paddy O'Brien and Craig Joubert have other ideas regarding what is fair, what is not fair and what is cheating!
Of course it was purely coincidental that the instruction to 'let the game flow' came from Paddy O'Brien (NZ), head of the IRB referee's board. How this came to be translated into 'referee France out of the game' only O'Brien and Joubert can answer, but I'm sure O'Brien will ensure that Joubert will get his undeserved rewards with plenty more internationals to referee. Whether he referees these games by 'letting the game flow' is another matter altogether.
This analysis is so biased against the All Blacks that it's a joke. For example, check 1:24 -- Kaino is clearly ON his feet when he grabs the ball -- yet this Aussie clown and his Irish sidekick moan about Kaino being off his feet. They have clearly tried to cherrypick supposed AB transgressions. But Joubert obviously had a mandate to let this game flow, and he also let many French infringements go unpunished (eg, the sickening eyegouging by Rougerie on McCaw).
"the sickening eyegouging by Rougerie on McCaw", funny, that's just about the only infringment you can think of, to be compared with to the insane amounts of infringments (offsides, high tackes, punches to the French players, McCaw on Parra...) coming from the AB...
By the way, this "eyegouging" (more an "eye rake" than a real eye gouge) came at the end of the game by a player frustrated by the sickening biased refereeing, McCaw never being penalyzed.
@Kasti77 Bullshit! Your team was playing off side consistently, and there was only one punch not punches, from Kaino because your asshole player tried to PERMANENTLY BLIND McCaw. You are so full of shit, so exagerrating the truth to make your team seem like angels
@gilesbrooke "Joubert had a mandate to let this game flow"? Then why did he let the All Blacks kill the ball illegally and systematically without penalizing them?
@Jack72824 Because everything you are talking about is all in your head mate, you want to make up all this bullshit that All Blacks did this and All Blacks did that and they got away with everything-that is BULLSHIT made up by a sore loser who cannot admit defeat. NZ kicked France's ass that day thats all there is to it
Quite so, but note that, unlike the football World Cup, no-one in the rugby playing world outside of NZ is saluting a magnicient and deserved victory of a great team of superb, technically gifted players. So, enjoy your win for what it is worth, because you know as well as I do that this rugby World Cup victory will be forever tainted with the stench of corruption.
@123colville Are you saying the All Blacks are not a great team and lack any superb, technically gifted players? That is about as laughable as your "Stench of corruption" comment. Well played!!!
After reading the comments I get the distinct inpression that NZ is populated entirely by foul mouthed, illiterate, morons incapable of making a reasoned argument in justification the fact that the world cup was won purely as a result of appallingly biased refereeing. The real tragedy is that the great showcase final of world rugby has been reduced by the IRB, to a gift of patronage to the host nation. A pyrrhic victory at best for NZ.
@123colville You think that we should share your conclusion that we only won because of the referee? Thats logical to you? Of course it is. Whats logical to me is that the better team won on the day. Whats logical to me is that you wanted the ref to gift the game to your team
@Jonrobbie74 You're willfully misreading what 123colville has said. Maybe the All Blacks would still have got up and won if the referee had awarded at least one kickable penalty to France, but due to his non-performance, we'll never know.
There is a huge cloud over this victory and, for all of your defiant refusal to admit its existence, it won't blow away.
@Jack72824 What game were you watching? You say IF the referee had awarded at least ONE kickable penalty to france? So I guess the TWO he awarded them happened in an alternate reality then?
@Jack72824 Maybe I misread what 123colville has said, but i think you didnt bother to read what you just typed
"Maybe the All Blacks would still have got up and won if the referee had awarded at least one kickable penalty to France, but due to his non-performance, we'll never know."
So by awarding a kicking penalty to France, that would have won the All Blacks the game........WHAT???
The only huge cloud over this victory is the one hanging over France mate, down here its sunny as spring time
@123colville Fact is New Zealand is glad we won the game and won it through sheer determination and grit, France had their chance and blew it, thats all there is to it.
No one down here could care less, judging by the fact that the World cup dvd is selling fast down here haha
@Jonrobbie74 It had less to do with New Zealand's determination and grit than with the fact that the referee lacked the courage to penalize the All Blacks' systematic cheating.
@Jack72824 cheating? Thats an opinion neither you or i will agree on. BOTH teams played the game within the rules pushing the boundaries as far as they could without getting penalized as much as possible. To make such a spurious statement that the All Blacks were systematically cheating is nothing more than the poor words of a sore loser
lmfao what a bunch of sad cunts. ABs World Champs. OZ fuck cherry picking a video lmfao he should be a laywer... not. We win you wait 4 years now move along ladies.
Credit to the Frogs;Their defensive plan controlled the ABs space, essentially shutting down their game. They had many opportunities 2 win as reflected in the territory/procession stats. They simply didnt convert this dominance(SAvAus).2 blame the Ref is snails trail Rugbys history is littered with debated matches.U adapt as best u can and play with what u have. The Frogs were 2 busy worrying about the problem, rather than finding a solution. They only have themselves 2 blame for this Allez Les Black
@Kr8mer okay but does it make you feel any better that it's still a win? doesn't sound like it... victory just the same... better luck next time chokers
@bombertheelephant I'm not French so don't really understand your comment. However, every neutral rugby fan in the world knows that France are the real world champions. Does the phrase "hollow win" mean anything to your pea-sized brain?
Most undeserved world cup ever. Everyone will remember this. Kid, as I was given a victory while everybody knew I was a bad loser and which I didn't deserved at all, I used to refuse it and was able to throw away a cup.
And Sir Richie just tackled the frogs via international press to say that THEY cheated and that he had been the victim of eye gauging and shit... what a glorious win for NZ, still talking about it 6 weeks later... Quell vieille victime ce Richie, c'est quand meme une super grosse tarlouze
I never said he (Joubert) made the correct decision concerning Kaino, just stating that people make misstakes. I remember a very harsh decision (wrong?) in an quarterfinal between France-All Blacks, during 2007 world cup. Was it a foward pass? And why would Warburton not accept the decision? He accepts that the referee referees and he plays rugby. Or does acceptance only travel the way that it benefits our own team, it seems so?
It was a forward pass... a small forward pass in 2007 compared to a whole game with a biased refereeing by Joubert, a few high tackles and infringments galore from McCaw in 80 minutes made all the more unacceptable by Joubert's blind consent.
Does any remember 2011:s worst decision? Red card, for a yellow tackle in the semifinal. France didn't even deserve being there, or did they? Should have been Wales-All blacks in the final, or should it? The interesting thing is that if Joubert was "paid" to win it for All Blacks, why the hell would he give Trinh-Douc (an favorite player of mine) a chance to win for France? Or was it Trinh-Douc who missed it by mile who was "paid"? People make mistakes, french or kiwi or a referee.
Trinh Duc's kick was not easy, far from it... by the way, Joubert never gave a penalty in a kickable position to France and when he should have (for the Kaino incident), he simply refused to do it. Thus, graning the victory to the AB. Merci Craig!
@Kasti77 fucking whining ass whingey loser bitch. Look at you, fucking muppet rushing to every video to bitch and complain like a little girl. Boo FUCKING hoo, Harden the fuck up you sissy assed bitch
The thing is NZ wanted the world cup so badly, I was in NZ as a aussie and got abused, bottles thrown at me. People yelling 'fuk aussies, fuk Quade Cooper' all day long. They wanted it so badly and I agree with what they say in this interview, the ref didnt want to make the call to let AB lose the RWC. All and all AB are the best team in the world and DO diserve the RWC trophy just from past games and years. BUT that final should have been ref'ed better and given the French more chances to win!
This is a European programme, not Australian. It was pretty obvious when watching. See also MailOnline: France 7 New Zealand 8: All Blacks hang on to claim historic World Cup triumph.
The biggest FARCE in International Rugby History. That result was clearly predetermined- and the All Blacks played like they knew it! Lying offside/killing French ball without a care in the World. The final insult is their incessant whining about the French 'Disrespecting' their precious Haka and the IRB bowing to their demands and fining the French....France- The DESEVRED World Champs 2011!
@Nomorecheats74 Errr....the All Blacks didnt complain about the French tactics when facing the haka you idiot,in fact, they were the ones who said they should'nt face any fine which was imposed by the IRB not the ABs.Its clear you dont have a clue what you're talking about.
@philippesella - Agreed 110%. Rugby fans around the world will laugh when they remember this pathetic rigged joke of a 'final'. The result was so predetermined I'm amazed the arrogant All Blacks even turned up for the game (Oh that's right- they didn't )
offside at the half way mark would never win France the game, caught eye gouging would cost them a huge fine, 6 month suspension and maybe even a penalty try. I would love to congratulate France for a great game. But the bitching from French players, fans and media makes it impossible
trust the fucking shit bag aussies to make this video......let it go....4 more years you can have another crack until then shut the fuck up...SHUT THE FUCK UP
@thebo101 Fuck you cunt. Imma fuck you up. Where do you live? im in wellington lets fucking scrap cunt. Maori vs u little white sheep shagger. We fucked you white cunts up
if you watch again the game and concentrate solely on McCaw, you would understand why the froggies are mad... and the "Kaino incident" at the end of the game is an obvious proof that the referee was for the All-Blacks
Suck it up froggie supporters and get over it .Cmon you did have advantages over us we played with a 4th choice flyhalf our captain played with one foot our winger is naturally a centre and so on just be proud of how well you done after that game most of us had respect for france you gave us what a finals ment to be ,but you keep hating so all respect is lost.dont point finger at refs,it all comes down to who wants it the most and we really did..
France were robbed in the 95 semi against SA, Wales were robbed in pool play against SA in the 2011 RWC when the touched judges ruled out a winning penalty kick, Samoa were also robbed in pool play against SA by poor refereeing. Some say Wales didn't deserve a red card in the semi against France and some think NZ were hard done by the ref in 2007 semi. Yes NZ should have been penalised and France should have been red carded for eye gouging. Enough of the conspiracy theories.
Mistakes happen, that's true (like Barnes with the forward pass in 2007). But coud we agree that the Kaino's one (with Smith offside too) was disgracefull ? Joubert just hadn't the balls to loose you the game on that one.
@julinhodosete There were a few things that the French got away with too but this video doesnt want to show them. There were calls that could've went either way and many of them 50/50 calls or grey area calls.Joubert wasnt as one sided as people claim.
What is a scrap of the face at the 77th minute by a frustrated French player because of Joubert's biased referring compared to Richie McCaw fist/knees in Parra's face (intention or not is not important), Owen Franks punch to William Servat while he was on the ground, Piri Weepu's punch to Mermoz, Nonu's elbow to Parra, high-tackle from Woodcock on Trinh-Duc and of course McCaw's multiple infringements...?
@Kasti77 Its pointless talking about the final with the Frenchies cause they'll never accept defeat. Fuck'n get over your self. Go home and find your momma in the room and fuck her ass!! You lost cause you got beaten by the best team in the world! No one cheated and the ref called everything right. Not sure what cheating these muppets are talking about. Its funny how all of a sudden they think they're better than everyone else. go and fuck a dog or something Frenchies.
"No one cheated and the ref called everything right" : no comment.
"Go home and find your momma in the room and fuck her ass" : any traumatic experience in your childhood? That kind of line usually comes from a guy whose team had just lost. Interesting
@kaik0oa you are saying crap. It's not because ABs is the best team in the world that we have to lose. You were the best in 1999 and 2007,and we kicked ur ass because u are unable to win a match with pressure. What happened?! Why do you win 37-17 one month earlier and 8-7 in the final? There is a reason why u are never champion(yes because I don't consider you are champion in 2011).Oh yeah in 1987 sorry. If I was from NZ I'd rather wait 28 years for a great victory than win by cheating after 24 years
@brudev75 Go and ask your momma to wipe your ass for you before you come and comment back to me. What happened in 1999 was a great win by France and we gave France a lot of credit for what they did that day. 2007? A forward pass by the France missed by Wayne Barnes won the game for them. Thats what you call BAD refereeing. Maybe the All blacks didn't know how to handle pressure back then but they've learned from their mistake, and done their homework. Thats why they're the best in the world
@brudev75 And let me remind you one thing, playing in pool stages is a lot different from playing in a World Cup final. Seems like you've forgot what happened when France play Tonga in pool stages. They got beaten by Tonga cause they took Tonga lightly. Best team in the world have to play their best team through out the tournament and thats what the All Blacks did. They didn't take France lightly cause they have so much respect for the Frenchies
@brudev75 And thats why he All Blacks won by one point cause they were expecting the Frenchies to play like they did in the final. AND I THINK I NEED TO REMIND YOU THAT WE WON THE WORLD CUP AND YOU LOST! YOU GOT 4 MORE YEARS TO CRY ABOUT IT WHILE WE GOT 4 YEARS TO CELEBRATE OUR VICTORY.
@brudev75 Haha i think you should read your comment kid. You said " There is a reason why u are never champion" Are you talking about France? Cause we won the cup twice. And of corse you will always think that you won the final but you didn't. I think the Frenchies need to go and seek rehabilitation cause they're getting so obsessed and mental about this World Cup final.
@kaik0oa all you say is not a response.I mean, when we see the difference between all blacks and the rest of the world,I can't understand why you just won twice in 7 world cup.You should be 7(or 6 maybe because England was better in 2003)times champion. For me you are just champion once, in 1987, and it's not enough for a team like yours. Every cup, french beat better than them because they are brave. You sum up 2007 with a forward pass, that's pathetic, in 2011,all game was outrageous from joubert
@brudev75 The ABs were only the favourite team in 87,95 and 07.These are the only times they should've won but they only won once.In 91 and 99 the Wallabies were the best team and in 03 it was the poms.If you're willing to accept the failure of the ref in this years final then you must accept the failure of the ref in 07 game between ABs and France. It was more than the forward pass as Barnes let the French stand offside all night.
@brudev75 Dude, rugby is not just for the All Blacks you moron. If you think the All Blacks should have won 6 or 7 World Cups then i rekon others would not have competed in the tournament, and this tournament will not be as excited as it has been. England were the best team in 2003 cause they won the final. South Africa and Australia were the best teams when they won the cup twice in a row.
@brudev75 I should remind you one thing, Winning the World Cup doesn't make your team the best team in the world. Team result before and after the World Cup is the one that makes the All Blacks the best team in the world. Winning the Cup makes them great i would say. I would only hope that France become the best in the world one day and then win the World Cup and become great! They need to play some consisten rugby in the next 4 years to be the best in the world and then win the cup.
@Kasti77 Biased reffing ??? Pffft!!!. What fist from McCaw? He hit him with the knuckle off his little finger. Martial arts teaches you not you 2 do this cos you will break your hand. It was a touch. If McCaw intentionally wanted to hurt him he would have done more damage than that. Mate frenchies are known to be dirty players. Who cares?? Its rugby?? Bring back rucking!!! High tackle!!! Yep. But thats what happens when you duck a tackle.
I have been watching International Rugby for over twenty five years and this is the most blatantly one-sided refereeing performance I have ever had the misfortune to witness- This rubbish is not good for International rugby- and I am a New Zealander...
@Nomorecheats74 Are you sure you've been watching rugby for 20 years cos this game wasnt as one sided as you claim. The SA v OZ 1/4 final was worse than this so was the 1/4final in 07 between the ABs and France. This video is biased,if one watches the entire game with both eyes opened they'll see Joubert missed a few calls for both sides but this vid doesnt show the ones France got away with.
One last piece of advice : don't watch the game again, or you'll notice McCaw's constant infringements and the ref pinging France quickly and the Blacks very slowly at the breakdowns...and then tell me how many penalties in kickable positions the French had in the AB's half.
Hypocrite?... moi? and you're being blind and stubborn. I never said Rolland was good only because of the red card.
Look at 1:03 , the ref whistles and one AB player starts to think the penalty will be against NZ (he's about to put his hands on his head) because of McCaw's position but then realizes the referee has whistled for NZ... after that, the AB are all "phew"...
Why is this a debate let alone still a debate for every whistle call not blown against NZ a similar call can be made against France. What I want to know is as you why was Para allowed back on after being taken off with concussion, you can come back after a blood repair but there is no concussion repair, that along with the eye gouge are the biggest Joubert mistakes and they are both against France
@alofaamoe15 Sadly, my friend, it's NOT "the end". If Joubert had made an error or two and inadvertently gifted the All Blacks with the game, fans would be unhappy but would soon accept it, as NZ fans---real fans, that is, not the halfwits who work for and listen to Radio Sport---did with Barnes in 2007.
Joubert's (non-)performance was something else entirely, however. He was determined to let NZ cheat, and either afraid to, or determined not to, penalize them.
I think what many people have to take into account is that many of these people who are whinging about the ABs winning arent French but from the UK or OZ.So lets not take it out on French rugby. They're only whinging cos now they cant use the "you dont have the RWC in your cabinet" line anymore.
At the end of the day the media can portray whatever image/opinion they like by showing a few hand-picked clips. You could also pick out some other clips from this match and say that the french were let away with murder and the AB's should have won by 17-7. The best ref handled this final, hands down.
@haydezz Where does he let the French away with "murder"? No one can seriously argue against the evidence that Joubert connived in the cheating by the All Blacks. The evidence is stark and irrefutable.
Your contention (against all evidence) that this non-referee was "the best ref, hands down" is absurd, and your argument is spurious.
@Jack72824 We don't get to see it because as I mentioned before these clips are hand picked by these guys to support one argument only. Anyone with access to the match footage could do this and seem just as convincing. It's called propaganda. Joubert connived in the cheating by the All Blacks?? Are you for real? There is no stark and irrefutable evidence. I can see you're a bit of a youtube pest so I'm just going to leave it at that. No doubt you'll come back with a "blah blah blah..."
Wow. Cant believe this was put on tv. How embarrassing for them. Woodcock was on his feet going for the ball as was Thorne. Parra was off side from the the start of the ruck and no ruck was formed for Kaino. Is that the best you got?? As for all you sore losers on here get a life!
@idislikefacebook2011 No. Richie is just that good. He plays right on the line - sometimes goes over it, but he does things no-one else can do. He's been that way since his secondary school days. He is immense. One of his talents: he's the best reader of the game and refs in the modern era. All this talk of him being a cheat: you've got McCaw envy. You want him on your team. Trouble is: he's probably the best player NZ has produced. There's only one Richie McCaw and pretenders.
@bopbopanna The problem was not the cheating of McCaw, or Kaino, or Hore, or Mealamu or any of the New Zealand forwards who cynically and systematically cheated. That's what footballers do if they can get away with it. In this match the All Blacks were allowed to get away with it wholesale.
The problem was not the All Black players. The problem was the non-referee Craig Joubert, who connived in their cheating, and thus delivered the game to them.
@Jack72824 Actually - no. Really happy with the win. Care factor on all the whinging? Nil. I don't think you should speak for Kiwis. Not sure if you know any. As for Craig Joubert - he's a good ref. One of the world's best. Stop blaming Joubert for the loss. France had every chance to win it and didn't. End of story.
@bopbopanna France should have been awarded at least three penalties for blatant cheating carried out in front of the non-referee. NZ fans recognize that fact, even if they are happy to downplay its significance.
Maybe the All Blacks would have still got up and won if the referee had done his job and France had kicked a penalty to take the lead. Maybe.
But the non-referee did NOT do his job. Your calling him a "good ref" is absurd.
@Jack72824 You just keep writing this over and over again like it's true. France lived off-side. One of your men should have been red carded for eye gouging etc and blah, blah, blah. Joubert is a ref that warns before penalising. You should go do your research. Joubert is a good ref. One of the best. Name one that's better and I bet you other teams hate them too? Go on. It isn't hollow to us. You can say what you want. We don't care. We won. Hahahaaaaa.
@bopbopanna Your comments about France "living offside" are untrue.
Your claim that "we [New Zealanders] don't care" about winning in such a degraded, unfair and controversial manner is also untrue. As the hype and euphoria after this RWC dissipate, more and more people will face up to the shamefulness of such a hollow victory.
For all your defiance and bravado, I suspect you know very well that the French were robbed by this non-referee.
@Jack72824 They are true, Jack. I've got the game on recording and have watched it about 10 times. You've misinterpreted me, Jack. We are thrilled that we won. What we don't care about are comments such as yours. Our care factor is: nil. I don't think the French were robbed by the ref. I think the French had their chances and didn't take them. Why expect Joubert to win the game for you? There was a penalty that your man Trinh-Duc missed. Did you want Joubert to just gift you the game?
@bopbopanna No I didn't want Joubert to gift the game to anyone. But he did---to the All Blacks.
You say you've watched it ten times. Did you close your eyes when the All Blacks were deliberately and persistently killing the ball in front of the non-referee?
Maybe you and Craig Joubert have something in common.
@Jack72824 No. Joubert didn't. I have watched the game 10 x and I didn't close my eyes to anything. Have you seen a replay of the game and if so, have you only been watching with only one eye open? France lived off-side every time we got the ball. Your only try came from your man FTD being off-side. No problem. You take your chances and it was a great try. I don't mind refs warning players, rather than whistling all the time. BTW: You didn't respond to your man missing the penalty?
Warburton HIMSELF admitted that the red card was normal and the Welsh missed a great many penalties, drops and conversions... Rolland did not give the game to the French, Wales lost it on its own!!!!!!!!!!!
best team in the final lost! but the best team in the competition as a whole won in the end!
Rugby has a problem with refereeing and inconsistencies that needs to be sorted out!!

should not have won the semi as the Welsh had them on the ropes down to 14 (and without their captain who was way to eager unfortunately for Wales) for most of the match, then they produce the one big performance in the second half of the final vs an AB side with their 4th choice at out-half.

Kr8mer 1 week ago
As to who deserves to win the WC, only someone who saw the competition blindfolded could say that France even deserved to be in the final. Once they were there they had nothing to lose. Some like Rougerie clearly showed how far they were willing to go! Had they won it would have been a travesty! Let me recap: they struggled vs Japan, were well beaten by the ABs and Tonga (late French consolation try flattered the score), did well vs an English side (more concerned by their off-field exploits),
Junsterification 2 weeks ago
There are so many situations that are very contentious around the rucks that it is near on impossible to get every call right. What looks like a penalty by one (albeit slightly biased) supporter for eg. being off one's feet whilst contesting in a ruck can also be deemed like a penalty by the other (biased) supporter for not releasing or sealing off the ball! I think Joubert was the best ref in this WC although it appears he may not have been in the final. At least he didn't whistle all the time.
Junsterification 2 weeks ago
@Kr8mer you are talking about world class players. It should not matter where the kicks are mede. The kicker had confidence the he coulkd make the kick and the kicks do matter because every point counts. Do you know the game of rugby at all? When a penalty have been given, the team has the following choices; Kick for goal, kick for touch (Which will allow them to have the throw in), scrum or tap the ball. France chose to kick and missed. Get over yourself and move on.

@scartice I have no need to get over anything. Just telling it how it is.
Kr8mer 2 weeks ago
@Kr8mer "Fixed" game you say. Hmm New Zealand hold the tournament, Paddy O'Brian, Head of the Rugby Referee Association (Whatever it is) Seems fixed. So then, did we pay the French kicker to miss all the opportunities France had been given? If that French guy nailed all his kicks then France would have walked away with the cup. Watch the game again and count the misses he made.
scartice 2 weeks ago
@scartice France had the harder kicks, the ref was pretty good at giving NZ more kickable penalties. Anyway, it's not about how many kicks are missed - if it was, they'd abandon the game and have a kicking contest. It was pretty obvious to neutrals that NZ were awarded penalties where France had done nothing wrong, and France were denied an abundance of penalties.

Kr8mer 1 week ago
@cstrobel86 Before the game I wasn't supporting either team, just wanted a good rugby match. The UK commentators were consistently picking up the ref's pro-NZ bias without any need for slow-mo replays. It doesn't matter how many times you chant like children "We've got the cup" - outside of your little kiwi bubble, no-one else has any respect for the result. The 2011 RWC final will always be remembered by rugby fans around the world as a French win and a final ruined by a biased ref.

We got the cup to prove it.

mclarenstables 4 days ago
@mclarenstables
yeah but they didnt. Wales having lost 3 games didnt deserve to win either even though they put so much effort and heart into it. The ABs played to their highest standard in all their game and were tired and fatigued by the final whereas the french had played the safe route and their players were fit and ready to play, I dont think they deserved to win but yes that final would have been won by france possibly if the penalties were allowed.
loolfactorie 4 days ago
@loolfactorie comes down to the basic fact that, as this video shows, and everyone that I watched the final with, screaming at the TV, France are the true world champs as the ref refused to give them the penalties they deserved. How can you deny what this video is showing. NZ are constantly allowed to do things on a rugby pitch that other international teams aren't.
dickydom9 3 days ago
@dickydom9

The fact is allblacks played WAY better than anyother team throughout the world cup, it wasnt till the final france pulled it together, but nonetheless neither team played bad, just france showed greater courage but still lost.
loolfactorie 6 days ago
@loolfactorie this is a joke right ? ever heard of wales ? wales were by a country mile the best team in the tournament. NZ played one good game, against Aus. The final was won because the ref couldn't handle the pressure of giving france these penalties that they thoroughly deserved, and therefore to win the final.
dickydom9 4 days ago
@dickydom9 As much as i like wales, they lost to SA, who lost to aus, who lost to nz and then you lost to aus for 3rd place. In 2015 you'll be dangerous but you were second best compared to the thrashing the AB's gave to each team they played. France played badly and unleashed their force in the final, the AB's where tired and fatigued by then. I'm also English but the way they play I prefer wales, I also have NZ heritage so i support them too.
loolfactorie 4 days ago

"France had their chance and blew it, thats all there is to it" - Actually France did not get their chance because Joubert/O'Brien made sure that they didn't and it's not just me that is stating that fact. But if you cannot accept an unpalatable truth then that's your problem.
123colville 2 months ago
Could be that we now have a situation where 2 different sets of Rugby laws apply. Those laws which apply or don't apply when NZ are playing and those laws which apply to the rest of the rugby world. In the interests of fairness, the referee should then declare before the game under which set of laws the game is about to be played. Can't get fairer than that but then perhaps Paddy O'Brien and Craig Joubert have other ideas regarding what is fair, what is not fair and what is cheating!
123colville 2 months ago
Of course it was purely coincidental that the instruction to 'let the game flow' came from Paddy O'Brien (NZ), head of the IRB referee's board. How this came to be translated into 'referee France out of the game' only O'Brien and Joubert can answer, but I'm sure O'Brien will ensure that Joubert will get his undeserved rewards with plenty more internationals to referee. Whether he referees these games by 'letting the game flow' is another matter altogether.
123colville 2 months ago
This analysis is so biased against the All Blacks that it's a joke. For example, check 1:24 -- Kaino is clearly ON his feet when he grabs the ball -- yet this Aussie clown and his Irish sidekick moan about Kaino being off his feet. They have clearly tried to cherrypick supposed AB transgressions. But Joubert obviously had a mandate to let this game flow, and he also let many French infringements go unpunished (eg, the sickening eyegouging by Rougerie on McCaw).
gilesbrooke 2 months ago
@gilesbrooke
Kasti77 2 months ago
@Kasti77 Bullshit! Your team was playing off side consistently, and there was only one punch not punches, from Kaino because your asshole player tried to PERMANENTLY BLIND McCaw. You are so full of shit, so exagerrating the truth to make your team seem like angels

@gilesbrooke "Joubert had a mandate to let this game flow"? Then why did he let the All Blacks kill the ball illegally and systematically without penalizing them?

Quite so, but note that, unlike the football World Cup, no-one in the rugby playing world outside of NZ is saluting a magnicient and deserved victory of a great team of superb, technically gifted players. So, enjoy your win for what it is worth, because you know as well as I do that this rugby World Cup victory will be forever tainted with the stench of corruption.

Nagulerath 2 months ago
@Nagulerath
It was a forward pass... a small forward pass in 2007 compared to a whole game with a biased refereeing by Joubert, a few high tackles and infringments galore from McCaw in 80 minutes made all the more unacceptable by Joubert's blind consent.
Kasti77 2 months ago
Does any remember 2011:s worst decision? Red card, for a yellow tackle in the semifinal. France didn't even deserve being there, or did they? Should have been Wales-All blacks in the final, or should it? The interesting thing is that if Joubert was "paid" to win it for All Blacks, why the hell would he give Trinh-Douc (an favorite player of mine) a chance to win for France? Or was it Trinh-Douc who missed it by mile who was "paid"? People make mistakes, french or kiwi or a referee.
Nagulerath 3 months ago
@Nagulerath
Trinh Duc's kick was not easy, far from it... by the way, Joubert never gave a penalty in a kickable position to France and when he should have (for the Kaino incident), he simply refused to do it. Thus, graning the victory to the AB. Merci Craig!

Nomorecheats74 3 months ago
@Nomorecheats74 Errr....the All Blacks didnt complain about the French tactics when facing the haka you idiot,in fact, they were the ones who said they should'nt face any fine which was imposed by the IRB not the ABs.Its clear you dont have a clue what you're talking about.
Toymit 3 months ago
@philippesella - Agreed 110%. Rugby fans around the world will laugh when they remember this pathetic rigged joke of a 'final'. The result was so predetermined I'm amazed the arrogant All Blacks even turned up for the game (Oh that's right- they didn't )
Nomorecheats74 3 months ago
offside at the half way mark would never win France the game, caught eye gouging would cost them a huge fine, 6 month suspension and maybe even a penalty try. I would love to congratulate France for a great game. But the bitching from French players, fans and media makes it impossible

if you watch again the game and concentrate solely on McCaw, you would understand why the froggies are mad... and the "Kaino incident" at the end of the game is an obvious proof that the referee was for the All-Blacks
Kasti77 3 months ago 20
Suck it up froggie supporters and get over it .Cmon you did have advantages over us we played with a 4th choice flyhalf our captain played with one foot our winger is naturally a centre and so on just be proud of how well you done after that game most of us had respect for france you gave us what a finals ment to be ,but you keep hating so all respect is lost.dont point finger at refs,it all comes down to who wants it the most and we really did..
01TIAH 3 months ago
France were robbed in the 95 semi against SA, Wales were robbed in pool play against SA in the 2011 RWC when the touched judges ruled out a winning penalty kick, Samoa were also robbed in pool play against SA by poor refereeing. Some say Wales didn't deserve a red card in the semi against France and some think NZ were hard done by the ref in 2007 semi. Yes NZ should have been penalised and France should have been red carded for eye gouging. Enough of the conspiracy theories.

This is one sided. France got away with many things as well, they just don't want to show it here. The refereeing was OK.
DaveXBTube 3 months ago
Mistakes happen, that's true (like Barnes with the forward pass in 2007). But coud we agree that the Kaino's one (with Smith offside too) was disgracefull ? Joubert just hadn't the balls to loose you the game on that one.

@kaik0oa you are saying crap. It's not because ABs is the best team in the world that we have to lose. You were the best in 1999 and 2007,and we kicked ur ass because u are unable to win a match with pressure. What happened?! Why do you win 37-17 one month earlier and 8-7 in the final? There is a reason why u are never champion(yes because I don't consider you are champion in 2011).Oh yeah in 1987 sorry. If I was from NZ I'd rather wait 28 years for a great victory than win by cheating after 24 years
brudev75 3 months ago
@brudev75 Go and ask your momma to wipe your ass for you before you come and comment back to me. What happened in 1999 was a great win by France and we gave France a lot of credit for what they did that day. 2007? A forward pass by the France missed by Wayne Barnes won the game for them. Thats what you call BAD refereeing. Maybe the All blacks didn't know how to handle pressure back then but they've learned from their mistake, and done their homework. Thats why they're the best in the world
kaik0oa 3 months ago
@brudev75 And let me remind you one thing, playing in pool stages is a lot different from playing in a World Cup final. Seems like you've forgot what happened when France play Tonga in pool stages. They got beaten by Tonga cause they took Tonga lightly. Best team in the world have to play their best team through out the tournament and thats what the All Blacks did. They didn't take France lightly cause they have so much respect for the Frenchies
kaik0oa 3 months ago
@brudev75 And thats why he All Blacks won by one point cause they were expecting the Frenchies to play like they did in the final. AND I THINK I NEED TO REMIND YOU THAT WE WON THE WORLD CUP AND YOU LOST! YOU GOT 4 MORE YEARS TO CRY ABOUT IT WHILE WE GOT 4 YEARS TO CELEBRATE OUR VICTORY.
kaik0oa 3 months ago
@brudev75 Haha i think you should read your comment kid. You said " There is a reason why u are never champion" Are you talking about France? Cause we won the cup twice. And of corse you will always think that you won the final but you didn't. I think the Frenchies need to go and seek rehabilitation cause they're getting so obsessed and mental about this World Cup final.
kaik0oa 3 months ago
@kaik0oa all you say is not a response.I mean, when we see the difference between all blacks and the rest of the world,I can't understand why you just won twice in 7 world cup.You should be 7(or 6 maybe because England was better in 2003)times champion. For me you are just champion once, in 1987, and it's not enough for a team like yours. Every cup, french beat better than them because they are brave. You sum up 2007 with a forward pass, that's pathetic, in 2011,all game was outrageous from joubert
brudev75 3 months ago
@brudev75 The ABs were only the favourite team in 87,95 and 07.These are the only times they should've won but they only won once.In 91 and 99 the Wallabies were the best team and in 03 it was the poms.If you're willing to accept the failure of the ref in this years final then you must accept the failure of the ref in 07 game between ABs and France. It was more than the forward pass as Barnes let the French stand offside all night.
Toymit 3 months ago
@brudev75 Dude, rugby is not just for the All Blacks you moron. If you think the All Blacks should have won 6 or 7 World Cups then i rekon others would not have competed in the tournament, and this tournament will not be as excited as it has been. England were the best team in 2003 cause they won the final. South Africa and Australia were the best teams when they won the cup twice in a row.
kaik0oa 3 months ago

Harden up cos you sound like a bitch!!!!

I have been watching International Rugby for over twenty five years and this is the most blatantly one-sided refereeing performance I have ever had the misfortune to witness- This rubbish is not good for International rugby- and I am a New Zealander...
Nomorecheats74 3 months ago
@Nomorecheats74 Are you sure you've been watching rugby for 20 years cos this game wasnt as one sided as you claim. The SA v OZ 1/4 final was worse than this so was the 1/4final in 07 between the ABs and France. This video is biased,if one watches the entire game with both eyes opened they'll see Joubert missed a few calls for both sides but this vid doesnt show the ones France got away with.
Toymit 3 months ago
@bopbopanna
One last piece of advice : don't watch the game again, or you'll notice McCaw's constant infringements and the ref pinging France quickly and the Blacks very slowly at the breakdowns...and then tell me how many penalties in kickable positions the French had in the AB's half.
Kasti77 3 months ago
@bopbopanna
Look at McCaw's position at 0:51.

I agree with Kasti. FTD is a better asset.
I have read comments about the welsh game. That game was really hard to handle for the French:

Why is this a debate let alone still a debate for every whistle call not blown against NZ a similar call can be made against France. What I want to know is as you why was Para allowed back on after being taken off with concussion, you can come back after a blood repair but there is no concussion repair, that along with the eye gouge are the biggest Joubert mistakes and they are both against France
hakaboy6924 3 months ago
all blacks won, france sucks. end of story, thank you joubert! great work man.

who cares....all blacks won - france lost the end
alofaamoe15 3 months ago
@alofaamoe15 Sadly, my friend, it's NOT "the end". If Joubert had made an error or two and inadvertently gifted the All Blacks with the game, fans would be unhappy but would soon accept it, as NZ fans---real fans, that is, not the halfwits who work for and listen to Radio Sport---did with Barnes in 2007.
Joubert's (non-)performance was something else entirely, however. He was determined to let NZ cheat, and either afraid to, or determined not to, penalize them.
This scandal has hardly begun.
Jack72824 3 months ago
I think what many people have to take into account is that many of these people who are whinging about the ABs winning arent French but from the UK or OZ.So lets not take it out on French rugby. They're only whinging cos now they cant use the "you dont have the RWC in your cabinet" line anymore.

At the end of the day the media can portray whatever image/opinion they like by showing a few hand-picked clips. You could also pick out some other clips from this match and say that the french were let away with murder and the AB's should have won by 17-7. The best ref handled this final, hands down.
haydezz 3 months ago
@haydezz Where does he let the French away with "murder"? No one can seriously argue against the evidence that Joubert connived in the cheating by the All Blacks. The evidence is stark and irrefutable.
Your contention (against all evidence) that this non-referee was "the best ref, hands down" is absurd, and your argument is spurious.
Jack72824 3 months ago
@Jack72824 We don't get to see it because as I mentioned before these clips are hand picked by these guys to support one argument only. Anyone with access to the match footage could do this and seem just as convincing. It's called propaganda. Joubert connived in the cheating by the All Blacks?? Are you for real? There is no stark and irrefutable evidence. I can see you're a bit of a youtube pest so I'm just going to leave it at that. No doubt you'll come back with a "blah blah blah..."
haydezz 3 months ago
Whinging Aussie. Sour grapes?? Surely not.
haydezz 3 months ago
Wow. Cant believe this was put on tv. How embarrassing for them. Woodcock was on his feet going for the ball as was Thorne. Parra was off side from the the start of the ruck and no ruck was formed for Kaino. Is that the best you got?? As for all you sore losers on here get a life!
Sossiprian 3 months ago
This is a must-see video for all rugby fans. Richie McCaw has been getting away with this for years.
I can no longer watch All Black games as it is just too frustrating watching McCaw constantly get away with illegal actions at the breakdown.
idislikefacebook2011 3 months ago
@idislikefacebook2011 No. Richie is just that good. He plays right on the line - sometimes goes over it, but he does things no-one else can do. He's been that way since his secondary school days. He is immense. One of his talents: he's the best reader of the game and refs in the modern era. All this talk of him being a cheat: you've got McCaw envy. You want him on your team. Trouble is: he's probably the best player NZ has produced. There's only one Richie McCaw and pretenders.
bopbopanna 3 months ago
@bopbopanna The problem was not the cheating of McCaw, or Kaino, or Hore, or Mealamu or any of the New Zealand forwards who cynically and systematically cheated. That's what footballers do if they can get away with it. In this match the All Blacks were allowed to get away with it wholesale.
The problem was not the All Black players. The problem was the non-referee Craig Joubert, who connived in their cheating, and thus delivered the game to them.
Kiwis wanted to win---but not in this way.
Jack72824 3 months ago
@Jack72824 Actually - no. Really happy with the win. Care factor on all the whinging? Nil. I don't think you should speak for Kiwis. Not sure if you know any. As for Craig Joubert - he's a good ref. One of the world's best. Stop blaming Joubert for the loss. France had every chance to win it and didn't. End of story.
bopbopanna 3 months ago
@bopbopanna France should have been awarded at least three penalties for blatant cheating carried out in front of the non-referee. NZ fans recognize that fact, even if they are happy to downplay its significance.
Maybe the All Blacks would have still got up and won if the referee had done his job and France had kicked a penalty to take the lead. Maybe.
But the non-referee did NOT do his job. Your calling him a "good ref" is absurd.
This win is hollow because it is an unfair win.
Jack72824 3 months ago
@Jack72824 You just keep writing this over and over again like it's true. France lived off-side. One of your men should have been red carded for eye gouging etc and blah, blah, blah. Joubert is a ref that warns before penalising. You should go do your research. Joubert is a good ref. One of the best. Name one that's better and I bet you other teams hate them too? Go on. It isn't hollow to us. You can say what you want. We don't care. We won. Hahahaaaaa.
bopbopanna 3 months ago
@bopbopanna Your comments about France "living offside" are untrue.
Your claim that "we [New Zealanders] don't care" about winning in such a degraded, unfair and controversial manner is also untrue. As the hype and euphoria after this RWC dissipate, more and more people will face up to the shamefulness of such a hollow victory.
For all your defiance and bravado, I suspect you know very well that the French were robbed by this non-referee.
Jack72824 3 months ago
@Jack72824 They are true, Jack. I've got the game on recording and have watched it about 10 times. You've misinterpreted me, Jack. We are thrilled that we won. What we don't care about are comments such as yours. Our care factor is: nil. I don't think the French were robbed by the ref. I think the French had their chances and didn't take them. Why expect Joubert to win the game for you? There was a penalty that your man Trinh-Duc missed. Did you want Joubert to just gift you the game?
bopbopanna 3 months ago
@bopbopanna No I didn't want Joubert to gift the game to anyone. But he did---to the All Blacks.
You say you've watched it ten times. Did you close your eyes when the All Blacks were deliberately and persistently killing the ball in front of the non-referee?
Maybe you and Craig Joubert have something in common.
Jack72824 3 months ago
@Jack72824 No. Joubert didn't. I have watched the game 10 x and I didn't close my eyes to anything. Have you seen a replay of the game and if so, have you only been watching with only one eye open? France lived off-side every time we got the ball. Your only try came from your man FTD being off-side. No problem. You take your chances and it was a great try. I don't mind refs warning players, rather than whistling all the time. BTW: You didn't respond to your man missing the penalty?
bopbopanna 3 months ago
@Jack72824 Truth too difficult? Is it better to just blame the ref for not gifting you the game - like Rolland did in the semis?
