It really makes a difference from the factory exhaust huh? I have an '84 K5 with factory exhaust still on it. I am thinking about going with Summit Racing or Hooker long tube headers with Flowmaster 40 Mufflers and having them exit out the back instead of the side like you have.

i got a 78 GMC Sierra 1ton camper special with a 400small block. im rebuilding the motor right now. i have hooker high comp racing headers that im gonna throw on it and super 44 flows that im getting, if it sounds anything like this than im gonna be real happy

Awesome sound, I've got a '70 Chevy truck with 3inch pipe coming off the headers and going thru a set of Flowmaster 40s...it sounds awesome!!! I hate to hear you had to sell it though.

yeah id say those are about 40s. check my video i got 50s on my 1965 impala. they arent real loud but they sound good.

Those are 40 series flow masters. The cat's are giving it the distinct sound. Check out my k5 blazer on my channle. I got a real nice exhuast on it too.

how much did it cost for the flowmaster?

my blazer is the same except it is a 86

Not much at all. for the dual flows and tips it cost around 230$. Then instillation was another 100.

honestly it sounds like a 50 series to me. Listen to my truck with 50's and you can hear the same distinct sound ( I don't know how to describe it... maybe a litte more raspy than the 40?)

Nice sound!! Really enjoy it but why such short vid?? I actually just purchased an 84. Basically, I have to start from scratch. Will have to start with the engine & tranny, then suspensions, then body. I definitely want to throw these flow masters on it, they sound vicious in that 350.
