LISTEN FLAMERS AND HATERS EVERYWHERE: The reason people don't like armor lock is because it creates a whole new style of play i.e. if you're used to armor lock you'll find it tougher to go back to halo 3 than someone who just used sprint. It's the same with jetpack. The reason people don't like it is because it incorporates a whole new twist to matchmaking. Personally, i love it. But i also get really annoyed at it. as a (not amazing) considerly above average player, i have to say that i get more annoyed/killed by players using the camo, over armor lock. camo is much more useful since it makes the radar useless (and radar is a big asset to any decent halo player's game)and even when moving its sometimes difficult to see them. Sprint is stil the most useful i think tho.

Armor Lock "sucking" is only a matter of PoV. For instance, the RPG in Call of Duty. Most people think it's a "noobie" weapon as "noobs" use it. However, no one take's into account the people like ME that can hit anything anytime anywhere with the thing. Ditto for the Rocket in HaloPC. People who can't use it well get pissed at the people who are good at it.
