Jeter "was" a good short stop a few years ago. Now he's average at best. In 2010 when he won the gold glove I think he got to the least amount of balls compared to every other short stop. It's not any harder to win a gold glove in NY than any other city, there isn't more pressure because honestly they don't give a fuck what we, the fans, think of them.

Also CC's a boss and his new contract is well deserved.

I know it's not as crowded as in the Yankee Stadium, but playing with 10 million people watching or just 1 milllion is no difference. And that pressure given means that he MUST play good defense, so that means that he's an average defender. That's all I'm saying.

How many pitches does the pitchers usually throw? You'd think they would be tired after this then pitch 7+ innings

@congwen4 in practice ther ebullpens consists of 35 to 40. in pre game warm-up usually only 25 to 30 maybe 40. plus they dont throw there hardest in the bullpen they'll build velocity up as they go but hes not even touching 90 more about 85-89. there last two pitches usually consist of them amping it up to full velocity. depends on the pitcher some pitchers will amp it up there last 10 just to show off
