I agree with 95% of what Ventura says, but I disagree with him on his immigration stance. Lets not forget he spends 6 months out of the year in Mexico. Immigrants who jump through the hoops are allowed to immigrate and make the USA it's home. Those who do it illegally need to be arrested and thrown out. If you don't like it then vote to change the immigration laws. I think this wall is a waste of money.

Jesse Ventura is an idiot and his comments at the rally were offensive and racist. Illegal immigration needs to be stopped and despite the ridiculous, racist, and moronic Leftist assertion by Ventura that anyone who dares speak against illegal is "brownophobic" I and others will do whatever necessary to assure that the anti-illegal immigration movement succeeds. And btw, no you do not have the right to do anything you want on "your" land if it detracts from the public good.

No, if that happened we would experience overpopulation and total breakdown of society and infrastructure as is happening to some extent now. How do you liberty freaks expect to gain respect when you advocate for positions which, though "principled," are destructive to all. You want to sell your movement to the American public? Begin to advocate for things people care about. Really look to the interests of the people, instead of to a destructive philosophy of "individual liberty" gone mad.

This is paranoia that was not true 150 years ago and is still untrue today. But just as then it is much easier to sell paranoia to Americans than Liberty. Hence the slow degradation and bankruptcy of our government run physical and social service infrastructure.

No, it is not "paranoia." It's a demographic and mathematical fact. The situation 150 years ago was vastly different. America was undeveloped and had far less people. Your notion of "Liberty" is troubling. An adherence to Liberty is not an excuse for irrationality, license, or the destruction of the nation state. The goal is the betterment of the human condition and regard for conscience. Your perverse version of "Liberty" wreaks havoc on this and would make people's lives worse!

It was wrong then and it is wrong now. Liberalizing immigration laws would hlep America flourish into the future. It did then, and it will again.. in fact this will happen whether we change the laws or not, as long as people like you don't go about killing everyone off who does not have an ID card

I'm sorry about your grandfather's head, but my own father is an immigrant. I grew up around immigrants! You of course miss the point of the legality of the immigration in question. Conditions in America have changed. It is certainly not "undeveloped." Demographic realities and cultural warfare cannot be so easily dismissed with platitudes about how illegals are human too.

I hadn't thought about them having another rally next year...you give me hope;o) Oil truck driver was smart to pull over, that house didn't slow down one bit...you'll be doing the same thing up here in the northeast if you explore any of the logging roads. The 18 wheelers full of logs don't slow down either, only problem is you need to be good at parking in trees real quick like.
