@ElTalonDude Well, That depends on several factors. What type of hunting you want to do, land or water, coins & jewlery, gold prospecting. I recomend doing reserch for the type of hunting you want to do and then learn about the type of detectors that are best fof that type of hunting, then decide how much money you want to spend. But start with a entry level detector, any of the major brands make great entry detectors. I prefer Minelab products. Thanks for watching and comments
We were both new to metal detecting, and in our city parks you can't use shovels. I would love to go back east and find some of the old coins. But we live in Oregon and are happy to find what we do.
Are You Both New??? Using A Little Hand Digger And Down On Your Knees Like That... And A Pin Pointer??? I Could Dig Like 10-15 Targets To Your One... This Is Just Frustrating To Watch... Go Relic Hunting With Someone Who Has Done It For Years And See How Its Done... If Your Ever In Virginia Look Me Up (we dont hunt nice manicured parks though - we find the 1700s and 1800s stuff)...
what do you think a new person sould buy.
