  • The two greates singers of our generation. Awesome.

  • @kingromeraso: Ditto on Ms Brightman..and Sir Cliff's voice..wow.her voice LIVE ON STAGE in PHANTOM.. is.even more beautiful & impressive!!! Unforgettable!!

and the duet ( in a past clip, not this) with Sir Cliff is the ultimate!! double WOW! Nothing but "superlative" descriptions they both deserve!!!

  • Cliff is amazing. What a voice.

  • did dliff ever play a role in phantom?

  • what a wonderful voice they are so good together its such a beutiful song

  • I'm getting married soon.. and as I walk down the isle I'm meeting with a godly man to walk together in a covenant agreement--not a contract--that has benefits that are out of this world. I believe that when we listen for the voice of God to direct our lives we will be blessed out of our socks...and besides how can the human mind comprehend. Who ever wrote the words for this song...a big thanks. I have decided...this is the song for me...for our wedding...God is so good!

  • Sarah Brightman 的聲音真的是世界的珍寶啊

  • This is what I call a piece of Heaven here on earth...we are called to be representatives of His unfailing love to all the nations and to each other. May we choose to allow His perfect love to take away the pain of darkness and lies.

  • She's too darn pretty! lol

  • brill my husband died a month a go and i just love that song

  • Sarah Brightman is the best singer and most enchanting performer of her generation.

  • Never forget.....This was 1986 at it's best. We loved it then. Love it now. I am really glad I can say I saw the original London cast of Phantom. What a memory!

  • A great song!

  • The duet with Sir Cliff was Andrew Lloyd Webers idea, he wanted a "pop" star to do the duet with his wife and Sor Cliff is possibly the only pop star who could do this jusice. Tim Rice who was Andrew Lloyd Webber's lyricist was also the lyricist for Cliff;s musical production of Wuthering Heights, "heathcliffe".

  • @IainB1511 Tim Rice did not write the lyrics to this song.

  • @IainB1511 Tim Rice did not write the lyrics to this song or anything else from Phantom

  • The late 20th century male hairstyle known as the mullet is thus immortalised.

  • Excelente canción, gracias, muchas gracias Sarah.

  • A beautiful romantic song. It will last forever and ever.

  • beautiful !

  • Sarah has such a voice! Of an Angel! Thanks Francis for leading me to this lovely song! Thank you for this beautiful song!

  • Haha Sarah looks like she's taken something xD

Anyway, this is awesome. Love Sarah <3

  • Ahhh Totally Beautiful!!!!..5*s Thankyou Soo Much....Anita..:)

  • I remember seeing Brightman in the mid-80s in 'The Phantom of the Opera' and she was wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

  • her voice has changed so much. This is when her voice was perfect. dont get me wrong it is still beautiful but i prefer to hear from this time. She sings this songs so beautifully and easily. It seems she tries to hard now. But no matter Sarah will always be Christine and i'll always love her

  • Seems live to me. I know the original.

  • did they kised?

  • @150angelgirl yes they did very sadly. now i can never kiss sarah brightman's lips again.

  • They are miming tho!!!!!

  • They sounds great together. Beautiful!

  • I wonder which year this duet recorded Sarah B Look young?

  • No effort from sir Cliff. Sarah has done better than that before though.

  • Defrinetly the only 2 people who can sing this song and give it justice!!!

  • A fantastic song, well sung by the two of them.

  • I agree Sir Cliff had plenty of emotional love and compassion toward his singing partner especially when singing to such an elegant and beautiful singer as Sarah however she didnt look much at Cliff as if she was wondering at some other planet and neglecting her singing partner .I see it and saw it there .

  • Let's remember that she may have been under pressure from the jealous Andrew Lloyd Webber not to be too lovey-dovey with Cliff Richard.

  • ...Hulle het geen konneksie nie maar dis mooi..

  • I love this performance so much.

  • In another word, there are no chemistry involved when they sang the song. But then I guess they are one lovely couple if they were to be one. Nonetheless, I do think Sarah Brightman is still pretty now as much as she was when she duet with Sir Cliff Richard. =) I love watching this video clip.. Thanks dinhovid for loading this video clip. =)

  • You're welcome!

  • This video clip is one of my favourite All I ask of you by Sarah Brightman and Sir Cliff Richard.. But I guess they portrayed a wrong expression towards each other. Sir Richard is full of emotion when he sang the song but Sarah was a little bit out of place singing the song to herself, sort of like ignoring Sir Richard who was there duet with her.

  • i love opera but she should find someone with better voice, suitable for opera and,is she Sarah Brightman?

  • huh?? she gets better every year!!... her voice isnt the same of a few years ago, but now she is a DIVA, and its a shame that she is not recognized in her own land, and she recieves ovation in very far places of her natal England, like the US or Southern asia.

She is the best selling soprano of all times, and one of the most glorious voices of our generation

  • Wonderful song. Thanks for sharing.

  • Would have loved to have seen Sir Cliff performing the part of Raoul on stage.

  • Great duet. Thank you
