Will, I read your article in the NYM and it lead me to this youtube. I think you are onto some great things. There needs to be a balance and you are doing a great job voicing it. Ignore the ignoramuses who complain but do nothing. " They never make statues for critics."
leitch is a good guy but perhaps more than a tad too self-satisfied. he hears the applause and just revels in it. that said, interesting dude, but not groundbreaking in any way.
I think that in the case of baseball each player should have the option to sign up for daily rations of steroid injections, that way it would even the playing field and make baseball inch a little closer to being exciting.
when will people start saying the same thing about actors and musicians? not any time soon because your argument is either a) racist or b) elitist, and the world will never be rid of your kind.
the free market determines how much athletes are worth, and, believe it or not, they actually generate a fuckload of revenue in many different industries with their "useless" skills.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
I'll be interested in sports when athletes stop getting paid absurd sums of money, and then do something truly useful with their skills.

Good post felonious - although something tells me that neotoy will use your screename to try to discredit your post.
(But even if your screename were IAbideByLaw, he/she wouldn't realize the intelligence of your post.)
