  • Am I the only one who thought "Pip-Boy 3000"?! :D

  • Science 1 Religion 0

I can tell something like "auto-repair" with nano-technology...how does it sound? :P

  • This is almost as good as the Jetsons. :) Now just imagine what they are working on or do have we don't know about. ??? yeah.

  • i don't care about the technology....i'm just watching the busty exercising asian on the screen XD

  • but will it load faster than youtube?

  • lol wallpaper XD at night a porn wallpaper then morning is something nice XD no more tvs this is amazing then i can light up my shit in the toilet rofl

  • this is a breakthrough sounds i need to go to my bathroom while playing CityVille lol

  • i dont think people in the army want to watch tv while on a task

  • @HumzaAhmed155 It would be for military aplications. and when not on duty. they could watch tv. come on open your mind up a bit.

  • This is all based on Nano Technology..

  • lol a few years ago people were editing display's like that and now they have it

  • sony was one of the first to use this technology in their phones

  • Star Trek here we come!!!

  • inevitably for advertising...

  • @guythatdrums2009 yea I'm 18 and I totally agree with you! The future will just be crazy.

  • Soldiers are going to be able to have Pipboys!?

  • I would so buy this.

  • i want to paint a car with this

  • This sort of thing will end up being so cheap it's disposable.

  • @youtubasoarus it will be on coke cans showing the commercials and you can just throw it away

  • I'm 19, I cant wait 'til i'm about 40 or 50..

  • the future is here

  • 0:40 holy fuck!!! we are one step close to pip boys!! fuck yes!

  • @colanarky12 I so thought the same thing man!!!!!!!!!! Wasteland five bro!!!!!!!!

  • if you pause at the :59 boob shot the leg raising in the background is totally unrealistic

  • Put that on all windows in a car and you would get the ultimate car simulator.

  • One, very casual, mistake however, could be the creases you get from intense bend-age

  • we're gna be having harry potter style newspapers very soon :)

  • @wakuwaku89 possible with nano technology :D

  • 0:38 It's the PIPBOY 3000!!! I WANT ONE!!!

  • @ogonga94 I'm stoked too man!!!!!!!!

  • lol sweet i want a pip-boy 2000 too

  • transparant screen ?? wtf !!! fucking idiot!!

  • @henrychouk you'll have the ability to make it more opache or not. Meaning the transparency levels.

  • All this stuff is reverse engineered from a spacecraft

  • Sexy

  • WOW

  • 0:58... wow~~~ pretty angel face with extremely sexy body..

  • I saw a video of one of Universal Dipslay's first monochrome OLED screens back in 2004. Man, how far have we come. When I first read the concept behind it I thought, "cool, we harnessed the power of fireflies"

  • Woah that Asian girl had a hot ass on the TV

  • i wish this a newspaper, lol NEWSPAPER made out of these

  • damn, in few decades, whole media will be like this, a soft, thin, and transparrent. I wonder what will happen in future....

  • my zune hd has a oled screen take that ipod

  • can they do touchscreen? if not, they better get working on it.

  • @Vonhooverhiggen Of course they can - touchscreen is just another glass screen put over it..

  • @94thts The ne phones for next year from samsung and some other company will have it on oled screen. meaning no need to have the glass screen put over the touchscreen. So there for it will be 00.5mm something like that thinner.

  • 1:00 - 1:03 xP waow

  • OH BULL SHIT! oled tvs will ALWAYS be more than lcd or plasma!

  • 0:59- it made me look at where the finger was pointing at! ROFL

  • "They don't need any of the materials that cost so much in an LCD"

... Yet they're going to cost much more just because it's "new".. Think I'll stick to an LCD display until they can do something with this which my current display can't already do...

It's also pathetic that every new innovation has an aspect of war.

  • @linkinpark9sc Many good inventions came of war for helping the army but eventually to help us. Yeh but it is kind of sad really we shouldn't have wars that's what causes us to expand less as a species.

  • @linkinpark9sc its kinda reversed. most civilian innovation is a spin-off of something originally developed for military use.

  • @mrh112 hrm, I have read Fahrenheit 451, and they had TVs like that :P

  • Where can I buy it?

  • YES YES the technology will also be used for camouflage, we are gonna see wars much more advanced. People always find new ways to hurt people..

  • i dont like the folding, eventually the connections will break from all the folding.

  • @THEtechknight They won't cause it's flexible

  • @DanielAvilaAGT doesnt matter. all metalic substrates will break if they are bent around too much.

  • kooooooooooool

  • The most striking thing about OLED displays is how deep the black is. It's quite impressive. It still has a long way to go though.

My professor invented the OLED. Ching Tang at the University of Rochester.

  • hmm TVs like wallpaper? sounds strangely familiar..

  • @MrHectorMendoza Fahrenheit 451?

  • 0:59 cleavage FTW

  • Lol wallpaper tv...ya I want my whole wall the be one huge tv screen

  • reminds me of Fahrenheit 451. now im gonna go read a book.

  • now if only they can blend this with augmented reality somehow...

  • I think I'm in love.

  • this is Disney's Smart House in the making.

  • well that kicks ass

  • i want to bang the Asian chick

  • noice cleavage at 0:59 XD

but seriously, OLED are the way of the future, I cant wait until the cost goes down.

  • The screen itself is not foldable, there are 2 screens hinged one next to the other. Otherwise, the lady would fold up the demo instead of just flexing it.

  • in contrary to the other show offs on the CES like pencil thin tvs 3d tvs etc, this is what i call revolution

  • higher like 2 billion dolllars

  • Wow, it's the movie version of "The Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy" on the end.

  • looking for something to invest in? I'd say OLED's it.

  • OLED; IE ORGANIC light emitting diode (I think) Since it is organic, I do believe there is a 'life expectancy problem. I'm sure it's a reasonable long time though.

  • You have no idea what organic means, do you?

  • @CrashGames2108 Organic should mean that its based on carbon atoms. Unless my chem teacher was wrong.

  • wow nice

  • i cant belive not again i have no problem with Technology but this make me angry you buy something new and 1 year its only crap like a blueray player and next year you read that the new 3d blueray disc that cant read your bluerayplayer.

and that thing with the consoles making me crazy you buy it like ps3 or xbox360 after 2 or 4 years comes a new in a few years you go crazy about that.i now i dont need this things anymore when you buy it you get poor and have in reality nothing oh i need to end

  • shut up pls

  • @MrJambalaja You're complaining about the great thing of technology. It never stops advancing. You have to realize that everything you buy will go out of date, probably within 6 months. With that in mind, don't get the newest thing. Get the older version of it, when it's already outdated. It doesn't mean it's not good.

  • SSS: Sex Sells Samsung 0:55

  • Imagine one the size of one whole end wall of a room, top to bottom, side to side- talk about home theater-!! If they got the thing down to a reasonable cost per square foot, all you have to do is toss in a halfway decent sound system and it doesnt get any better-! Like the guy said, like anything cutting edge, it will get cheaper-- said it doesnt need anywhere near the pricey materials as LCD's, so theres a good chance once everyones making them we will be able to own one for a decent price.

  • just think by 2040 this stuff will replace wall paper and you could turn your living room into outer space or sleep under the stars in a desert (that is if they make it for flooring as well) in your own bedroom :P

  • @mrh112 hmmm...not a bad idea =D....but that would be really just awesome xD

  • @mrh112 most creative!

  • @mrh112 2040? i dont think so. thats 30 years away therell be newer better stuff out by then. itll be 5+ years till this stuff is as affordable as current lcd's and in another 10 itll decorate the tops of landfills.

  • @drshields1988

lol good point, its hard to beleive now but by the time were old men there will probably be people living on mars, robots walking in the street... the future is always more amazing than you picture, take a look at the year 1900 compared to 2000, big leap

  • @mrh112 and it will be mankind's last invention

  • @mrh112 "someone hacked my bedroom and woke me up with a screaming ghost on the wall"

  • @mrh112 I'm excited for the motorcycle helmets they'll be coming out with in a year or two. That and the crazy shit they'll have in nightclubs that will be translated to consumer products within a few years.

  • @mrh112 if your watching porn than it be if ur like there

  • @mrh112 But you forget, the progression of technology is exponential, not linear. What you proposed it closer to 2020.

  • @mrh112

Best thoughts of the fucking year. That is exactly one of my dreams :)

  • Also less heat than a lcd and tube tv.

  • lol @ 0:59

  • if they say it will become cheaper than lcd because it dosen't have all those backlights...ect so what makes it so exepensive now? awnser that!!!

  • the production is no doubt very cheaper but suppose that u have invented some this unique which is made in world for the first time and the demand of your invention touches sky than guess at what price will u sell the product

  • For the same reason that any new electronics technology is more expensive at first. The initial investment is huge, with many years of R&D to pay for and no production facilities in place. They may have to design and build new factory machines to produce the displays.

When their costs come down (through years of mass-production), so do yours.

  • they havn't found the cheap chinese rip off yet lmao ;), i think personally it looks smart as fuck but yeah i agree price is the decider of technology these days to expensive it wont take off, to cheap the company will go bust by ripoffs got to get it spot on lol

  • the answer qould be that its fucking amazing.....HA....

seriously tho. think about it. y r hd tvs price going down so fast now.. there old news. answer that..

  • @mercedesbenz4

It's new, that's what makes it expensive.

  • that's cool, one day you'll be able to buy a 20 OLED sheet from walmart, stick it to your bedroom wall (assuming it comes with an adhesive backing) and then hook up a video output. coooool.

  • Ill buy one, but it has to offer full wireless video, battery powered, full lifetime warranty, and only 20 bucks, or im sticking with my CRT.

  • I... Want... That... Phone... NOW!

  • i want the girl in the pink top :P

  • @kojiro228 SHE IS CHINESE DUDE! WTF IT WRONG WITH YOU?

  • that wrist watch reminds me off PREDATOR!!! how cool is that

also im sure mobile phones are gona be soo lighter and thinner but with a huge display which can folded or even like roll like a scroll!

omg iv got soo many ideas now.... wow my brain works!! lolz

  • I want that wrist display.

  • samsung... i love u... i want u...

  • that tight ad hell yo! we gunna have movie theater with this in the ceiling and walls, could you imagine!? the future is here. wow!

  • yeah wow!

  • It's awesome. It's expensive. It's OLED.

  • Remember how expensive plasmas were?

  • I can see quarterbacks using the wrist thing to get plays soon. Or ref's watching reviews on their wrists.

  • =O GHOST RECON

  • That military wrist display thing is cool.

It's like something out of all those awesome SciFi's where you have soldiers on an alien planet and they check their wrist to get a map of the surrounding area or whatever.

  • OOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDD this is the new generation of screens no like the screens of now more kollors i live oooooolllllllleeeeeeeeeddddddddddddd´´´´´´sssssssss
