@Beanny46 ohh ok, she seems to always have positive thoughts on everything from what i see. so i was just wondering. :) table tennis is such a nice sport that i wish i played it from 5 or 6.. too bad i cant gain those years now.. im 18 :(
@m0n3y1992 Oh gawd, I'm tired of saying this over and over again.. THINK POSITIVE, it's better than starting at 20 or 30 yrs old right? Age isn't much a barrier IMO, you still can be a good player. And starting at 18 is quite good.
I heard from the Singapore Table Tennis Association that there's one player who started at 40 and is a very good veteran player who even won titles. So yeah, dont let age bother you, hope this had motivated you.
@Beanny46 yeah that helps alot hehe i mean i cant do anything about it but try hard at it.. really to think about it if i have the motivation i mean age wont matter that much. some kids start from young age and dont have the motivation so they dont improve as much.. having the right motivation and will to play will really increase me in getting better tho.. so yeah what u said is really helpful
lol she is a top player? Anyone who can play like this, belongs in the top 100 of the world! Not just in her country but in the WORLD!!! Dont know what your ranking in the world is but god she is a top player. Give her some more time, when she reaches the age of 25-27 she will be more consistent and she will be awesome.
Ok man maybe I didnt express myself properly enough...14 YO - QF in WC!...21 YO - (my) expectation would be to see her in world championship, world cup or asian championship FINALS, reaching medals, do you see?? that is what I expected from her in 2003 and that´s what younger and younger chinese female players achieved and Fukuhara didn´t..however she is a great player, but not the champion
this singapore player is a little too much of a beast for a girl, it is interesting because this manly female player was playing the most girlish (and cutest) table tennis player. can't hide this contrast....
Why does the Singapore team get to have men on their world cup team???????

Do you have the video(s) for Women's Team Final event? Which country was Singapore's opponent? China?

@m0n3y1992 I saw her wearing a necklace with a cross, I reckon she's a Christian.

Feng Tianwei is so voluptuous but she shouldn't lose weight because she'll look a bit square-faced...

she was in WC quarter finals in 2003 when she was 14 so why now at the age of 21 fukuhara is not a top player?
kuco777 2 years ago
She is, she even recorded a memorable victory over Li Xiaoxia during this year's Women's World Cup.

@CD7NEMO Its the team event. The first section is the score of japan vs singapore in general.

her BH is better than FH..FH is soft and for pushing back
darthsophia123 2 years ago 2
Who are you referring to? Is it Ai Fukuhara? Just want to make sure.
Beanny46 2 years ago
ai played very well for the first two sets but completely threw the rest of the match with those rushed uncontrolled pimple BH shots
idnumber002 2 years ago 2
Not really, I felt that she played very well at the first THREE games. But the fourth game her confidence was lowered due to the third game loss.
Beanny46 2 years ago
Agreed, it's a doozy to lose a deuce game.
