He duets with Zero 7 is the business, in fact their version of crosses comes very close to this original. José is a legend. I've seen him live, as have other swedish and scandinavian artists. There is something about their music, possibly influenced by there surroundings and weather, but it's cold, bluesy, but ever so soulful where the tempo is at a unusual beat you have to try and listen to every note being played and sung. It's simply beautiful. Another is Ane Brun. Lullaby for grown-ups.

It´s a reminiscence from flamenco guitar playing, which he studied between other styles (thus you can play more intense notes at some point, as if you were using a pick). In fact his Alhambra guitar is made in Spain by a famous brand, top quality there. You shouldn´t criticize any other lads without knowing all the facts.
