  • There are no rules against saying "Groin area" OR "Gentiles"

  • I enjoyed this video. Seems like a genuine guy doing what he loves.

  • Lol hes trying not to say naughty words instead of " middle "

  • KONY 2012, MAKE HIM VISIBLE!!!

  • Very.Nice.Booty.Period.Fapped.Done.Thank you.

  • @lukelukelukealan Well first of all: undo, layers, zoom, resize, skew, change composition etc.

Also: You never risk to smear the drawing with your hands; exceptional control over pencil size and hardness; erasing is so much easier.

  • Fapped

  • that bent girl looks like a horse

  • the reason he is not drawing on paper is because they are all stuck together.

  • Use in next fight with girlfriend: Shut up you stupid "mid section there"!!!!

  • @pauldavidclub Excuses for using a better superior medium, a medium that is harder to master than pencil or traditional painting? I think not.

  • @architectus777 Digital painting is definitely not a superior medium to traditional artwork. I don't care how you look at it... digital art pieces do not surpass the creations of past masters like Michelangelo. I will agree that digital artwork takes time to master like any other medium but don't think for one second that it takes more talent than using a brush and canvas.

  • @architectus777 this is not harder than drawing with a pencil or painting at all, it might be hard but not harder than traditional.

  • Thumbs up if you tried to add his Yahoo Messenger friends.

  • Wow ur preportions are off. A healthy women doesnt look like that. Sorry but it just doesnt look right :/

  • @TheGuardianssorrow I think you mean a fat woman.

  • This is nonsense. There are no concavities, in the first place, just a series of convexities in life form. Try "Drawing Lessons from the Great Masters" by Robert Beverly Hale

  • @holobody Some lines go in, some go out, so of course there are :p

  • @holobody the "concavities", while an interesting use of the word, simply unifies nexuses of "convexities", like using negative shapes as proportional assists in blind contour drawing. also, if we're being pedantic: "Series" of convexities? doesn't that bind the group to the arrow of time? wouldn't an "array" of convexities be more appropriate? as they're each simply the result of musculo-skeletal dynamics..

  • THIS IS SUPER AFENSIVE!!!!A MAN SHOULD DRAW A MAN BODY AND ONLY WOMAN DRAW A WOMAN'S BODY!!!! Only perverts will watch this video so they can see a naked woman!!!!!! I'm super sure that not one person that watched this wanted to learn how to draw!! D:-

  • @meganpeters100 Artists have drawn, painted and sculpted mainly females because they are regarded as of more artistic and esthetic value. As an artist myself, I can tell you that females are more challenging to draw or paint than males. This is my opinion, but for me is easier to do a portrait of a male than that of a female. I think females are far more perfect, and males were bluntly made.

  • @meganpeters100 I guess we know what you came here for then...

  • Hilarious that you're talking about drawing the naked body but can't say nipple without feeling embarrassed.

  • @Lamanyakaa he did that because YouTube would have deleted the vid for inapropriateness

  • i came here beacause of the title. not bucaz i want to draw them

  • your not teaching them to draw by showing them what the outline looks like! teach them the superficial anatomy and where the muscles attach and what there function is. then they can invent form. a cookie cutter outline is a flat sack of potatoes.

  • @eddied456 Mastering the manikin is just as important as mastering the muscles, same as mastering the stick man. I teach it all from beginning to end in my Master the Human Figure 10 hour course on my website.

  • @architectus777 agreed, but also with the other guy most people to be honest (me included) already have the draft style of character down we com on here to find someone that can atleast share some basic anatomy to help put on our characters (not easy to come by) If you did anatomy drawing series you would get big hits no doubt.

  • @merccc1 Anatomy is in my 10 hour course on my site Mastering the Human Figure. It goes from basic stick figure to muscles and such.

  • w8 were is the rest i draw myself and i allways fuck up in the arms area and u show the figure only side view what about front???

  • Hav'nt these people ever heard of pencil & paper,or is everything done on computers these days?

  • @sergerungomo Plenty of people do work with pencil and paper, the computer is just a newer medium that, lets be honest, makes the artist capable of infinitely more.

  • @elektrokuma

but all these different ideals follow some rudimentary rules of proportion and by memorizing these typical proportions you can save a lot of time drawing whatever "different ideal" you want by making small adjustments to these generalized rules.. it also helps you keep the accurate proportions whatever angle you chose to pose the body in since you get a reference to relate to.

  • THE female body.

I wish all women had THE female body.. The woman used and depicted in this picture is very beautiful, with fat on only the right parts (the bottom and bosom).

  • OK someone help me out because.I don't understand this video

  • keep drawing, I'll watch... lol

  • Thank you for posting this! While I find the female body very fun to draw, way more than the male body, it's also difficult to get the proportions and curves right. -.- so thanks for the tips! And that one photo was absolutely beautiful. True art!

  • any else actually learn something?

  • @ViceofVices I have been drawing since I was 5 years old and went to school for arts, and got to learn more as a combat medic. I always enjoy studying characteristics of people's faces and bodies. The first book I ever baught was "Drawing the Marvel Way with Stan Lee". And the narrator is giving some good pointers, including some that I use.

  • Very instructional.

  • @architectus777 good answer!

  • @architectus777 man don't listen to this haters, your videos are great.

  • what brush are you using? and are you just using mouse?

  • @architectus777 He probably started at part 7 to see the picture in the thumbnail. HAHAHA

  • I appreciate that you're doing this, but this is a really long video for the information you covered. Pretty static, not much conceptual, theory-based evaluation--it seems pretty rote, I would suggest condensing it to 5 minutes if you can and choose more dynamic poses. There are already an abundance of "this is the human proportions and here is how we measure" videos out there.

  • proportions are explained well. necessary for proper drawing, as too many professors get way too technical...over-the-head. thanks

  • @yagoboy100

    yupz ;)

  • okeiiiiiiii!!!!

  • that's quite easy!

    1. draw some circles

    2. draw the rest of the body

  • very good technique

  • The model was too small in the chest area i'm afraid.

  • nice

  • Im on that weird part of youtube.

  • Thank god for smart men like you to give that woman some curves!

  • boobies

  • @architectus777 not for art u wont need to.

look up "vaginal exams" ... lol those sure as hell arent covered.

and half of them arent restricted. its pretty weird.

  • 203 people are gay

  • i dont think he was expecting this audience..

  • you had me at female body

  • he can draw the women ...

  • how you make the lines so straight?

  • @brunexxx1 Practice and technique. I have a video showing how to practice and what techniques I use. It is a pencil video.

  • @architectus777 can u link the pencil video plz?

  • @brunexxx1 Just an extra tip, look into seeing if you can change the dpi on the fly on your mouse or tablet. I never realized it mattered until I bought a mouse for gaming, and realized how much more control you can get from lower dpi. I know intuos4 tablets have a button set to drastically lower the dpi, so your pen moves much, much less.

  • "wrists above the... the.... MIDSECTION!"

  • The drawing is pretty much perfect besides the boobs. Its not that they are to big or anything its just the way they are standing on edge is a tiny wee bit awkward and it takes away from the rest of the picture. Nice job besides it though!

  • Meris?!

  • Does anyone know what program this is?

  • @nativenight77 photoshop dude, it's written in the left upper corner of the vid. xD

  • Midogo, I imagine you saw it was Photoshop by the interface, that is says PS above the tools. :p

  • i rather touch the female body than draw it

  • it's the blocking of the breast that is obscene,

  • How did watching alienware videos lead me here?

  • keep drawing ugly fugly igors -_____-

  • take a look at my pic an my drawings

  • take a look at my pic an my drawings

  • next: Drowning a female body

  • its at 2:13, and for some reason the tits are blacked out. i thought tits were the whole reason for drawing the female form, and that this was art. so...? where are they?

  • who thought he was gonna draw the pic on the thumbnails

  • my gf has double measures too!

  • This shows that you indeed are a single man. A very very sad single man.

  • @Optronix92Media At least he can draw to impress a woman.

  • @DeviousPhantom Do you impress women with your drawings? Other than the fact that they like your drawings, what difference does it make?

  • Lucky.. You can draw porn anytime

  • HOLY ANOREXIC!!!! It's a shame that's the way women are drawn.

  • head = small nuff said ! :D

  • wat do u call this program

  • @manuelbatista99 blind? it clearly say "Adobe photoshop cs3" at the top of the program

  • hey, great video. i was wondering if you would know how to make digital art/ film; like that of "BEOWULF".... or "STAR WARS: CLONE TROOPERS"(the cartoon series). I would also like to know your opinions on the best kind of software for digital film/ art.

  • its too hard for me man

  • "metalmike83: still think he has plans to take this planet.. " HA!

  • je vous conseille une super vidéo du même genre mais en mille fois mieux .

tapez "manga sex nichon" dans la barre de recherche ( c'est la première )

--> ne vous laissez pas décourager par le titre elle vaut vraiment le coup :D

  • woman body is perfect :D

  • What type of input device are you using to draw with?

  • Try going to the LayFlat Sketchbooks website for Fashion Croquis Sketchbooks

  • Dam you can do anything theses days in photoshop

  • Awesome! Please check out MY videos with Nude Drawings and Paintings of Real Celebrities!

  • I thought this clip would show me boobies, but at 1:30 it took an arrow in the knee.

  • Who else got extremely inappropriate video suggestions while watching this?

  • I'm just skipping through the video... someone tell me though, that thing at 6:05 that's a penis in a letter, right?

  • draw a girl fuking vaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!1

  • 1. draw some circles 2.Draw the rest of the fucking body :D

  • beat that ass...

  • Fat women are easier to draw :)

  • @elikrzepis fuck off, loser -_-

  • you sound like a petifile and it doesnt help that you are drawing a naked girl body...

  • @GwendolynJ123 You sound like an idiot, and it doesn't help that you can't spell pedophile...

Do you even know what that word means? It really doesn't seem like it, given the context. Also, figure drawings (i.e. nudes) are essential for learning to draw the human form accurately when clothed. It's hard enough to figure out where all the little bits are supposed to be, but when you cover them up you can forget about it if you don't have a good understanding of the human body.

  • not a big deal but isn't her armpit placed just a tad too high? ;)

  • your art work is amazing! At first I thought that you have scanned images on which you are working, but in the latter part when you tell how to draw it, it looked perfect to me! hats of to you!!

  • you forgot to draw me analing her

  • She looks sickly.

  • good video :D

  • the thumbnail is misleading for this video as it is a photo and ur drawing isn't as good as the photo in realism

  • how the hell did i come here from an amon amarth live video? (metal-band) o.O

  • "The wrists slighty above th-the mid section there.." - Architectus777 01:02 (Thought it was cute.)

  • DONT READ THIS CAUSE IT ACTULLY WORKS. YOU WILL BE KISSED ON THE NEAREST POSSIBLE FRIDAY BY THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE. TOMARROW WILL BE THE BEST DAY OF YOUR LIFE. HOWEVER IF YOU DO NOT POST THIS COMMENT TO AT LEAST 3 VIDEOS YOU WILL DIE WITHIN THE NEXT 2 DAYS. NOW UV STARTED READING THIS SO DUNT STOP. THIS IS SO SCARY PUT THIS ON AT LEAST 5 VIDEOS IN THE NEXT 143 MINUTES WHEN UR DONE PRESS F6 AND UR LOVERS NAME WILL APPEAR ON THE SCREEN IN BIG LETTERS THIS IS SO SCARY CAUSE IT WORKS

  • just to point out, you didn't have to paint her breast. Its for educational purposes, same as the medical videos on YouTube... see, even the category of this video is under Education

  • @osallivan231 Yeah, but if I left it, the vid would be age restricted by now.

  • @architectus777 On top of that comments about fapping and boners would flood the video.

  • @architectus777 so sad . if it were some guy getting his head blown off, no prob. but oh my god , non sexual nudity!!! the kids will be traumatized. there is a lot wrong with that.

  • @architectus777 I like how murder is more accepted than a naked breast.. : /

  • @osallivan231 Youtube chooses the thumbnail, and I mainly draw in comic book style.

  • @architectus777 what program are you drawing with?

  • @osallivan231 ...you just wanted to see the booby lol

  • @osallivan231 say it ...you just wanted to see the boobs.

  • @osallivan231 It would be a rather incomplete human wouldn't you say?

  • @xxMafia101 incomplete human body, yes

  • Great video, however; you have to think in general, in this video you're pinpointing out certain details on a particular model; when talking about a human body, in this case a female one for educational purpose; just go for the general proportions of certain shapes/muscles and such - there's no need to trace-line out lines as it confuses, since it's very unlikely your audience will have the exact same picture to work on. It will come naturally when they're working on their own models. Cheer!

  • Comment removed

  • very good

  • how did i get here from watching a video on a plane

  • OP, you do know you didn't need to black out her nipple, youtube won't mind since this presentation was directed in the context towards art. Might have helped in adding more views.

  • 1:20 i wish i was behind her

  • The head is to small, quit being stubborn

  • @ivohhh I would only be being stubborn if I were wrong. Wait until you can see the full body of the girl on the left, then pause, hit print screen, paste into Photoshop, copy her head, several times, stack them, and you will see she is 7.5 heads. Now if you want to see the final size of the head on the figure on the right, you have to go to part 9. Do the same thing, 7.5 heads. Evidence doesn't lie :P

  • @architectus777 true, thats basic

  • @ivohhh hm. head might be to smal or to big lol remember realife drawings after realife human doeas have so menny diffrence Boddys alsoe in commics :)

  • @ivohhh As well, the jaw line gives evidence that her head is tilted away, giving it a smaller appearance. So no, the head is not too small.

  • @ivohhh I'd say you're just a little too used to the exaggerated head sizes used in anime and manga

  • maybe you people should get a life instead of arguing about a figuring drawing

  • @hungrybear8 Lol Let 'em argue. You can bet that Michelangelo and Da Vinci argued with their peers. All in the quest for artistic perfection... Not my forte, but I understand where they're coming from.

  • But how to make it in paint?

  • I know were the views came from and so do you.

Now how do i get out of the sexy/porn part of youtube when i keep clicking these

  • facebook. com / pages/Digital-Artists-Community/ 106352192814774

  • you're making it waaaay too complicated pal...

  • cant imagine why this has so many views.

  • thnx dude this vid is a big help

  • Instead of studying shapes we should also learn the anatomy itself of the human body to achieve the most perceptive realism whether it's a cartoon or a realistic sketch.

  • i see the problem and it is sadly a very common one. The average head:body ratio for an adult human being is 1:7. That means that the whole length of the body from top of head to base of heel should be exactly as long as 7 heads on the same subject. The head you drew is far too small, the ratio on your figure is almost exactly 1:8(!) So the breasts look far too big, the chest too thick the legs too long - all because the head is too small.

  • @Mikanojo You're incorrect when it comes to comic books, which is what I do. Comic book females are 1:8, sometimes 1:9. Of course there are 1:7 and even 1:6 characters, though.

  • @architectus777 There is no question that some comic book artists do as you describe, but that does not change reality. i was speaking of the average head:body ratio for real people, and also what we are taught in art class when we are drawing people. Even in manga they suggest ratios of 1:6.5 for Asian and 1:7 for Gaijin when drawing adults. Children are drawn with larger heads, but to intentionally draw the head too small just looks awful. That is the distortion i see in your video.

  • @Mikanojo classic Greek art used 8 heads. And if we're speaking realistically the whole heads system is useless because only 1/100 people will fit those ideal proportions. Also, most anime and manga are definitely not 6 1/2 to 7 heads. Most female characters are at least 8, to exaggerate the legs and torso, 7 heads, isn't as attractive anymore compared to the hypersqualized forms in anime and manga. Prefer the golden ratio or relative bone measurements myself.

  • @montyblanc512 Incorrect.. to start with most anime and manga uses a 1:5.5 ratio to 1:6.. depicting children! And in reality as i wrote before the AVERAGE ratio for an adult is between 1:6.5 - 1:7. And classical art, AND college art courses, will teach you that the ratio is 1:7. That does NOT include comic books.. where some times the head is indeed drawn too small. In the video, the image is out of proportion, 'distorted' to quote someone else. It IS distorted, the head is inhumanly small.

  • @montyblanc512 And since you mentioned Greek art, there is examples of both 1:7 and 1:8 - Polykleitos used realistic proportions with a head/body size is 1/7. Lysippos used a ratio 1/8, creating an inhuman 'godly countenance'. In Classical art, Leonardo da Vinci drew his bodies with an incredible precision, taking measurements and working with corpses as well as living models, all of his work with adults measures at 1:7. His student Albrecht Durer also used 1:7.

  • @montyblanc512 In the end you admit it your self, when you wrote "female characters are at least 8, to exaggerate the legs and torso," Exactly the point.. it IS exaggerating the body.. - OUT OF PROPORTION. Exaggerated bosom and hips, to overemphasize the female form into a sexual object. That is why the drawing in the video is distorted.

  • @Mikanojo. According to their idea of the Ideal human proportions. Don't get me wrong. I'm not arguing against the 1:7 ratio, I'm just saying that there is nothing wrong with breaking that measurement, as long as one understands what one is doing. Personally, Phi and golden sections provides much more accurate than the 7 heads method, and, da Vinci's sketches used phi. I've seen it, and it's easy to see in his most famous sketch showing the range of motion.

  • @Mikanojo and again, da Vinci was not the be all end all of human anatomy, He was great, but there is much left to taste, and most scientists now would agree that Phi is a much more accurate measure of how we perceive the ideal human figure than trying to measure heads. 1:7 is limiting and just not always accurate or called for. saying someones is wrong for not using your ideal measurements is ridiculous, and if everyone did art would be boring as hell.

  • @montyblanc512 Please do not misunderstand me.. this video was a suggestion in the YouTube list.. i watched it, then i read the complaints from a few in the comments about what they were calling a 'distortion' and you replying that you did not understand what they meant. i looked and saw the head-body ratio was inhuman and so i wrote that is the 'distortion'.. Personal taste is left for the individual of course and many enjoy comic book ratios i guess?

  • @architectus777 because morons who draw comic book women are ass-men... the 'new' thing is to draw women with massive asses. Either that or they think that J-Lo is hot.. XP. I agree with you Mikanojo, completely.

  • @Mikanojo But who draws the "average" woman? Though the thighs look a bit thick for my taste.. it's just personal style.

  • Why wouldn't you use a "real" sized model? :/ That's much more appealing..

  • Trying to draw.. Can't.. Hold.. Anymore.... ! Fapfapfapfapfap

  • Thank you for the tutorial, it was very helpful!

  • Daaaym

  • Change your video tags, look at the related videos and you'll know why I told you

  • whyd you block the tits?

  • Please check out my videos on how to draw!

    I was homeschooled!

    Salutations.

  • A common beginner's mistake. To have TRACED a picture and to use it as reference. The image you traced is obviously suffering from lens distortion giving you false perspective, resulting in a gross disproportion of form.

  • @dangraphic I'm not sure what distortion you're refering to. This is an even body type from crotch, meaning equal lengths from head to crotch and from crotch to bottom of feet, resulting is a shorter leg type. This body type is common. For a longer leg type body, you alter the formula a bit, like 3 heads on top and 4 on bottom, for example. Or a slightly longer rectangle on bottom than on top.

  • @architectus777

well if you don't SEE the lens foreshortening (05:04) from lens distortion on the standing figure that you traced... I can't help you.

    Be well.

  • look at dat ass!

  • Damn you YouTube!!!! Lol jk
