This in my view beats the flight in the finale. It has more depth and meaning than the simply 'oh look at those images of me saving people. ''Okay I believe in myself now. Off I go!''
I love so much this episode and this moment is one of my favourites, it's the first time Clark flies as himself and not as Kal-El and he knows he IS able to fly, that means he will fly soon in the real world. I'm so exited.
@GabtheRocker It still doesn't count as a flight for Clark. In cyberspace, anyone can fly, as long as they realize that what they are doing isn't real.
@mavcon75 the first time clark flies in Season 4 he threw Martha over didn't knock her over by sheer flight, and yes superman does have the ability to knock people over by his take off. Its when he masters the ability to fly that he can control how fast and forceful he takes off
Ok...that's true...forgot she was pushed to the side by clark...but again....this is the last season and they really don't give him a lot of time to master this last power with only about 8 or 9 episodes left....they better get on that....otherwise we've got "Greatest American Hero" stuff happening with takeoffs.....hell...we haven't ever seen him land regardless...one was climbing into a plane and the other in this episode you never see a landing....

This episode was sooooooooooo f---ing awesome, I loved every single bit of this episode, and this scene was sooooooooo amazingly awesome, it won't be long till Clark will fly in the real world! This season has been sooooooooo amazingly awesome, I can't wait for next episode.

Clark knows the power to fly was always in him. He just needed to believe in himself. And for the first time, he did. So, why didn't he try again in the real world? Why didn't the writers have THAT be the last scene in this episode? Why shouldn't the same rules of clarity apply to Clark in the real world as they do in cyberspace?
he finally flies again, yay but once again its wasn't real persay but still very cool, although they should've left off the trail behind him, it looked weird and tacky and kind of ruined the scene, i just didn't like the trail but overall it was a good episode, chloe kicked ass, i was glad to see allison return, love her
@fromax87 no you should stop because what makes superman so UNBELIEVABLE, ICONIC, LEGENDARY, EPIC is that only he can do all these things. the flying takes place in cyberspace or his head(w/e u want to call it) and in this cyberspace anyone can fly not just clark. this didnt show anything other than he believed the world was fake and could do anything.
