I'm very interested to know the connections of the Ampatuans to other governors in Mindanao.

Mayor Esmael Mangudadatu has publicly come out oppose mining and would stop mining in Maguindanao if voted in as Governor.

Many of the journalists killed in Maguindanao were anti-mining and critics of the GRP.

Also, poll automation poses a problem to the Ampatuans for rigging the elections (like they did to get Arroyo in).

Local people knew 5 days ago that there would be an ambush in this place. Now, who knew the route and had time to plan an prepare to kill these innocents?
