Best BGM EVER! Rivaling that of One Winged Angel, this song makes me want to absolutely side kick the SHIT out of someone! Songi was such a badass and this track takes me back to some wonderful times. His voice rocked and so did his moves, especially the second form. Man, I'm going to play this right now.

i've been playing this game over and over again for years. one of the greatest games of all time. i really wish they would remake it with updated graphics. heck they could leave everything the same as far as gameplay and voiceover work is concerned but just imagine how cool this game would look if made with the latest version of the unreal engine.

Oh, just fuck Songi. He was one of the hardest bosses I ever fought. Granted, I was a little kid at the time and didn't even beat the game, but, to me back then, this guy was a real pain in the ass.

Legend of Legaia had such an inventive combat system, with actual absurdly good plot elements, interesting graphics and a retardedly fresh soundtrack based on drums (I think that was a first too, I could be wrong there). To this day it's tied with crono trigger for my favorite rpg

@MajinHanky LOL! It's those background sounds that make you think that! Those metallic noises probably made you think of pipes. And those strange... Barking noises? Those barking noises are probably what reminded you of underwater. Am I right? BTW, I think the producer of this track used an actual DOG to get that barking sound then manipulated it into that FANTASTIC sound... I wish I knew how he/she got it.

If you think about it. This game was really suppose to come out before Final Fantasy 8 believe to come out. However FF8 came out and this game was just overlooked once SquareSoft(SquareEnix) released FF8 and every FF fan/gamer wanted this cause of FF7. Sucks cause when my dad got this game when I was young we were amazed by it. Lol!

The composer is a girl Michiru Oshima. She's one of the most active Japanese music composers today, actually. Some of her works include composing music for: Legend of Legaia, Legaia 2, Paradise Lost (movie), Arc the Lad, Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla, Fullmetal Alchemist: The movie, Arc the Lad 3, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and many more. She's probably my favorite composer for video games and anime overall.
