Ugh my under scarves cause me absolute agony but I need to wear them (I don't like the way y hijab looks without it plus it helps it stay in place). Because I'm in university I spend long hours outside wearing my hijab, plus I wear glasses so what ends up happening is my scarf presses my glasses into the sides of my head which can get to be really painful! Sister Amena, can you think of any possible solutions to this problem? Jazak'allah Khair! =)

Awesome!! I thought I'd pitch in and tell you what out uniform is lol, we have to wear black shoes, black trousers/short skirt, white shirt/polo and black cardigan but you get away with dark colours :) but my school doesn't mind our hijab colours :D

I don't know about school but when I go shopping the female Muslim shop workers usually have their hijab very small and tidy and tucked into their work top (like into their polo top or whatever). I'm guessing that is the kind of thing a lot of girls would need to do for school as I know when I was at school (there were no Muslims in my area when I was younger) the school ties or jewellery or any loose clothing had to be tucked in out of the way for safety and neatness.
