I think it's trash for a myriad of other reasons, and you don't have to agree with them. I used to like watching NASCAR back in the ABC Wide World of Sports days. Back when it was a purely Southern thing and we all accepted it for what it was.

Then came Days of Thunder, commercialization in the 2000s, and commentators with those stupid redneck drawls crowding-out other racing in ESPN. Loathesome I tell you.

@lewismcc6 first of all I HIGHLY doubt that you could even finish a lap around daytona 500 without crashing...secondly im a HUGE fan of F1 and even though i dont like NASCAR at least im not ignorant enough to think that it is EASY cause if it was like that it wouldnt be nearly as competitive as it is and to give you a measure of how much skill you actually need remember when jeff gordon drove an F1 car he set a lap time only a few seconds off of Montoya's best!! so obviously u must be skilled!!!

@Fussball2006 kennste die show top gear? ich erinnere mich leider nicht mehr an den namen des wagens, aber sie haben geschworen, dass er durch die aerodynamik auch an der tunneldecke fahren könnte, aber noch kein stuntman gefunden wurde, der mutig genug wäre. ich vertraue top gear zumindest zu 99%, ganz unrealistisch ist die idee also nicht. die werbung aber ist natürlich aus "hollywood".

außerdem ist das fahrwerk eines audi m.M. nach schlechter als mercedes'. aber geschmackssache :P
