This is my favourite OD pedal that Toadworks make - I love it. I love the TF too but this has an edge for me. But check out the John Bull demo that's coming soon. Also sounds fantastic!
How long did you take to develop your hybrid picking/legato technique? Its almost Garsed-like but looks simpler...what do you charge for guitar lessons?? I live in London...
Amazing playing, too! I love your soloing, it's always great to listen to. If I could play even half as good as that... great jazz/fusion/funk stuff. Love the sweeping at 0:49
Ha! It's years since I had a Lapsang Souchong! Imagine what that'd do for your playing when combined with milk! I'm sticking to the Earl Grey! It's shred powers are beyond compare you know!
What scales/keys are you using? Trying to learn this sort of music theory but if that question can't really be answered then never mind. =p

Nice tone, but really playing...I hear elements of Holdsworth, but with some modern blues hipness to it.

Tom,
I don't suppose you have tab for that jazz thing, the third piece here? It's awesome! That's the way I want to play someday!

Is there any way you could do a quick video of the difference between the drive and the gain sounds on this pedal?

That explains it, Earl Grey has always been a mystery to me... must be all that cheap Darjeeling tea... but with milk, of course!
lauriemonk 2 years ago
To be honest I generally stick to Tetley's - seems to have the desired effect. I might take some to Frankfurt for emergencies! Thanks again Laurie!
