This was awesome when I played it. But it was stated that the Beta 3 release would be the last one. It's a damned shame for 2 awesome Sonic hacks to be going down the drain this year (Megamix and Advanced Edit). Sonic isn't my obsession anymore.

I tried out the beta release 3. Went to Neo Gigapolis (THIS LEVEL) (Was called Roof Top) Reached the end, and the boss was the same one from the Metropolis Zone in the original Sonic 2.

Really great. And it's original for a Sonic game. This brings me back to those days when side scrollers all did the same city skyscraper levels. Although, it's missing a few things, but overall, it's quite good.

Well, it looks like modified Quackshot art there. For instance your winter stage uses BG art from Quackshot. I think that its brilliant you find a lesser known game, IMO, to add variety to Sonic.
