  • yes !!! ça faisait un bout!!!!

  • It would be great to know what rhythm and dance is being performed here. Anyone know?

  • The rhythm is Manjani as far as I can tell

  • Thanks, @os71. You're probably right.

  • The rhythms in this video are as follows:

    1. Mediani

    2. Komo-foli

    3. Bonjalan

    4. Marakadon

    5-6. Koradjouga/fast

    7. Suku(soli)

  • wots with those panels sticking out of the djembe

  • Thanks!

    Merci encore!

  • They are also for decoration, and are given to the player by their master and once they get good enough then give their best students some.

But jesus his technique is nothing short of envy worthy...

  • That's the thing!!

  • wow that was great what about atrip till belfast when we have our next mela

  • We are ready if you are?

  • Really nice phrasing,to me it looks he s more influenced by his Malian background.

  • wow - great phrasing

  • pretty much one word....brilliant.

    *watches again and again*

  • Do the metallic "flaps" on his drum add to the sound of his playing? Or is it just decorative?

  • adds sound... like a snare drum... little metal 'rattles' - hope this helps!

  • ah! that's cool. thanks.

  • add sounds
