@11254cdk I am not sure, I didn't talk to the coroner about his findings but I would guess blunt force trama, she drove off a cliff. Even if the jeep was equiped with a cage that met NASCAR specs, she probably still would have not survived. An impact like that probably tore atterys from her heart. I do know she sustained severe head trama. The video doesn't show the extream hight of the cliff. It was a very long ways down to the first impact. I had to hike a long ways to get down there.

I was told they brought in a crane and closed the road for several hours while they pulled it up to salvage the wreckage. That was one story I was told. The other one was that the railroad brought out a crane and took it out by rail. The video I shot from below that was a distant shot threw the trees is where the railroad tracks are. I shot some video while standing on the tracks.

Ahhh, the original Wrangler is the best thing around...affordable, ready for the mts. or the rocks right off the showroom floor. I have an 05 Sahara that took charge at Moab and will hang on the edge of any cliff in the Rockies. It even pulled~~yes, i said PULLED~~ a 1/2 ton chevy that had broken their front axle, UP a huge rock hill so we could get out of the back country at Moab. No sweat....just cheers!! Wouldn't trade it for anything cept maybe a new Rubicon :)

@darlintamie I had a 75 CJ5 that I droped a Chevy 283 in and that thing was a monster. once I solved the overheating by adding a 4 core Corvette radiator under the hood and a second hung on the back role cage with two electic fans. Then had to run a Chevy four speed trany, a Chevy rear end, front end, and transfer case with custom axles and both front and rear drive lines. The stock jeep gear was fine for running AMC motor but the 283 just kept tearing everything out. it was a ton of fun !!!!!!

TJ's and WJ's suck ass anyway, theyre not "true jeeps" the sad part is that the last "true jeeps" were discontinued around 1996, after that it all went to shit. The newer cherokees sucked ass, the TJ replaced the YJ (which was wayyyy better), and jeep went from being off road to a maker that made cars to transport you to the mall and back

Cherokee flexed and busted windows out, even with subframe stiffeners, while 'Yota has 377K on the motor and is still going strong, with no frame flex at all. Ditch the stock Birfields and a 'Yota will outclass most Jeeps. Way stronger axles, and much more aftermarket support.

Toyotas are jokes, there box frames rot out after 50,000 miles and the body falls off around the engine and transmission. Ive taken my jeep up a mountain in mud up to the door handles stock. No mods and no limited slip diff. Lets see your JapScrap Yota do that and come back without a cracked frame or have the engine blow a headgasket.
