IMO the designers went a bit close to the limits on this coaster...If a healthy 23 year old's legs look like a 75 year old with edema afterwards, then there is a problem. That said, no problems on the Raptor, Magnum, Millenium Force, Top Thrill coasters..and a month ago just went to Universal Orlando and rode the Hulk, Ripe Ride Rock It (90 deg. climb), and every other coaster there, and I was fine (even now at 31 I am still in shape)..The Mantis puts Gs on you like an Apollo 11 pilot

Rode this one a few times, and even at 23 (9 years ago) I felt faint and afterwards my ankles were swollen a bit. Keep in mind at 23 I could run a 7 minute mile and was in great shape...I will never ride it again. I had the "seat" adjusted at the proper height and had no "man problems". And I've ridden all of them at Cedar Point, Universal in Orlando, Disney (the adult ones) and never had problems like I did w/ the Mantis. Just my experience

For those who had a "painful" issue with Stand Up Roller Coasters, here's a tip:

Have some clearance between you and the restraint the next time you go on, and don't sit down at all. It's a "Stand Up" Roller Coaster for a reason.

everytime, I gray out on this a few times. first drop before the loop is the first gray out, then after the loop at the bottom, then after the next inversion. the rest is pretty painful but okay.
