only games from the 80s and 90s got good game play despite lousy graphics and good music despite lousy audio!!! double dragon was the first fighting game i played when i was a kid.
Imo...because this sounds like more music from a techno dance, unless there's like a lot of fighting (martial art stuff), it wouldn't work. Most bosses are suppose to be overpower in some way. The only type of final boss that this music would suit would be a type of boss that is just really good a martial artist, not a big monster or something like that.
I'd agree that the technoish part sorta ruin it, but I say it's a good theme because the theme just seems to call upon the Double Dragons to gather up all their strength, beginning at 0:46. It basically seems not just to say that this Boss is going to kick your ass, but also that you can do it if you try hard.
Most final boss battles get kinda ruined if I lose even once, which also says why I like this.
okkaaay, for one thing, maplestory is a 2d mmorpg (massive multiplayer online role playing game), and then, there is a job called a Dragon knight, this job calls upon dragons and stuff to aid this dragon knight, and then, there is this skill called a DRAGON ROAR, which damages all enemies on the screen.
The title of this video "Roar of the double dragon" has the same title as many other maplestory videos. well, thats the reason ^_^
