yeahh his change is aceptable james hetfields voice is sad i still dont get how it changed so drasticaly over the years i mean from that screamy voice from kill em all and ride... it changed to a more manly voice in master and and justice and blacked then it changed to a bluesy voice in load and beyond

@alexelperron hmmm.... his voice is more emotional now than in the old stuffs... i like metallica only between 82-and 92. i know, almost every big singer has lost his original voice, but i say NO! think Overkill (Blitz), Sodom (Tom), or Destruction (Schmier), Tankard (Gerre)-these singers has their old sing-style, or i dunno. but they are more friendly to my ears than the "nem" Mille :) :D. for me the biggest present was the new Wicca album. The singer s voice is justlike in the '80s! check out!
