Don't like it too much. Sounds a bit dull and sort of "spongy" to my ears. I like it more direct, with a snappy transition between clean and dirty (cleanup isnt very clean either)...

@CalendulaF I think you're right, and I think fuzz faces clean up REALLY good, but this clean up is like semi-clean...sounds like the clean channel on a tube amp cranked up enough that it distorts sumwhat, bit its quiter than that...still a mad good drive and u get true bypass...Id love to see a versatility match between this and the OCD

Man that last part sounded excellent. I usually don't dig TC Electronics stuff but that was a pleasant surprise. It's a great sounding OD but there's so many pedals to choose from it's dizzying. ESPECIALLY OD pedals. They need like a Netflix or Gamefly for guitar pedals so you can try them all out.

.....Hmmm....Actually that's a pretty damn good idea. Does something like that already exist? Anybody?

@fullmetalfunk They have places that you can go to in Japan and simply request an amp and cab and they will set you up in a very small room. Oh, and if that Netflix for pedals thing exists somebody tell me where I can sign up!

@mike31jmb I know right? Seems like a great idea to me. Pay 8 bucks a month to try out equipment, maybe 12 at a time and you could upgrade to 16 bucks a month to try out 3 or 4 at time. IF you like it you can buy it and they just bill your account!

Only problem would be getting it off the ground...it'd take a heavy investment to get a good stock of equipment in, and you'd need multiple copies of each one. Not a bad idea though I don't think.

i thought this was kinda "thin" sounding at times. nothing against TC, but i'd much rather get one of their toneprint pedals over this. plus i think the Nobels overdrive is the best value OD on the market today.

@NorthShoreMike That or the Fender DRRi, but when Andy demos pedals he always plays songs that the pedal seems to show itself off tonally, this however doesn't seem right.
