It's the ESP Eclipse 2 with Emgs 81/60. Its the first non les paul I've played & it is every bit as good. The lower line of it is not quite there but still this one was only $1,300 when I bought it a couple yrs ago. You can only get a low line studio with stock pick ups for that price. Chem them out..they are fucking great!

hey man, if you mean the first fill randy plays..it's the classic fill he used a few times in variations. This one..is slight "a.h" (artificial harmonics) while pulling off 3 times on the 1st fret of the b string in a row then 2 pull off on the 2nd frett of the g string..then 1 pull off on the 2nd fret of the d string, 1 pull off on the 2nd fret of the a string is what I play, randy plays that or a C on the 3rd fret. Then finally 1 pull off on the 3rd fret of the E string.

Stick with it bro..the a.h's at first take some work but keep practicing them & they will come. when playing them just try to remember your thumb should do what the pick does normally yet only grazing the string instead of hard attack.

Thank you brother. Keep working at it, I've been playing a very long time. You'll reach different levels if you & the beauty of the guitar is you can never be as good as you hope to be..just as good as the work you put in. Which is all you need to be. I use GHS Boomers. Those were 10 gauges, but I've now started using 11's. They are far from slinky though. I love their richness & that you have to work for your bends.
