I cannot believe what I just heard and saw. Ihave the music for this piece (Passacaglia by Tansman) and it is terror! This man is a unique phenomenon to have executed it with such emotion and such stupefying technique. Touched by the Heavenly Father......

from Jose Sepulveda, the Brasilian.......My God! This transcendental performance reminds me what it is to be human. It is much more than technology....physics and chemistry and engineering.....what really separates us from the other animals which inhabit this glorious planet are such things as Art and Literature and, yes, Music! let us never forget these things or take them for granted because, indeed, these are what make us Human.

It's great to finally have a recording of this powerful piece--I think it's one of Tansman's best--too bad we don't hear it more often.

brilliant! i love powerful playing- i think it prings out the most out of the instrument. his right hand technique is intriguing- it looks unique- i have met only one other player with suc technique- also russian!
