You can also drive people insane with these drills by using them in the shop to drive everything. Carpentry is noisy enough as it is, I can barely yell at my guys over the noise of their stupid drills.
I want to buy an impact driver, namely an 18v Ryobi or some type of Hitachi. I am unsure whether to buy one as I'm not sure would it suit my work. I am a plumber and I would be using it to fit wash hand basins and toilet bowls and cisterns. It would be very useful for this type of work because of its small size but I am worried about its torque/power. Would this damage any of the ceramic products I would be using it on.
