@FTFKaos if you want to be a arcane warrior I suggest going to the mage shop in denerim and getting the tevinter mage robes and enchanter cowl followed by which ever pair of gloves and boots you desire if you can I would highly suggest while doing the search for andraste's ashes obtaining the spellweaver and attaching a small shield being a blood mage would also help a lot as well but since you'll be fighting up close spend most of you attribute points on magic willpower and constitution

@BrianTang3 I suppose you might be able to but it'll be at 22 and you will probably be at the very end of the game when that happens and if you transfer it over to Awakening you won't get Keeper or BattleMage make sure to do all the side quests because in the end I only got to 21

If I get the Arcane warrior specialization but all my character are all over level 15, so I know I can't use it anymore because you get 2 specialization. One at level 7 and 14. So here's my question; Can I GET the arcane warrior specialization on my next play through?

Note: I UNLOCKED the specialization BUT couldn't use it as I was already level 15. PLEASE ANSWER. Thanks in advance

By destroying the phylactery, you unlock the Arcane Warrior specialization for the mage. In addition you receive 250 XP and +2 Approval from Alistair.

@Busen2000 When you level up. You earn 1 specialization point at lvl 7 and 14 in origins alone. I'm assuming you gain another specialization point at lvl 21 in awakening expansion. So there you have it.

I can't speak for others but I enjoy watching females kicking ass in movies and video games. I just enjoy looking at a female characters more then I would a male; pixle or not. The avatar I have it the female shepard I made and I'd rather see her face for 30-40 hours of my gameplay rather looking at a male one. Call me crazy but I just love it. Besides if you ever go looking for armor mods you will fine more armor for females then male.

Honestly, I just can't take female characters wielding giant, 2-handed swords and wearing massive armor seriously. I'm not sexist at all, but a female just wouldn't be able to do that unless she was among the strongest females alive and looked like the Hulk's wife. Hell, only very strong males would be able to do that. And don't even get me started on 90% of the armor mods.... In my experience, 90% are for females and they are are skimpy and extremely impractical. Pisses me off.

Actually there was someone just last week telling me that I'm gay for playing female characters since I'm a guy. People get different enjoyment from playing games then others. Who am I to judge. in games like this or fallout, for example. the game and npc reaction change if you are female or male, have a high or low inteligence, or charisma

also, depending on my inspiration at the moment, first character i made was a male bard ranger, i was inspired by the main character in the game "the bard's tale"

how far into the game can you unlock the arcane warrior class, im tierd of being a rouge and everything i fight in near impossible to kill, im level 17 and cant find anymore quest to do to level up my guy, i know mages are strong as hell and i know a mage with a sword would be very hard to kill but i dont want to start a new game only to never be able to get to the arcane warrior class so can some one help me by telling me how far into the game you have you have to get in order to unlock it

You can unlock the arcane warrior class as early as you can fast travel on the world map. All you need to do is go do the Dalish Elf section and find the gem showed in this video to unlock. If you're playing this on the Xbox 360 then that class will be really annoying to play with. Why? Because every time you cast a spell your character will put his/her weapon back before casting a spell. So yeah every time you cast a spell with weapon drawn will make it x3 as slow.

Hmm... which party members suck exactly? Leliana is not wearing the "set" she's just wearing the robe for the look. Leliana's Song of Valor helpp with Stamina/Mana regen. Wynne is the best healer in the game and Morrigan is your best dps mage. So which party members suck exactly? I think you mean to say YOU suck at playing 2h warrior. You talk like you know a lot about this game but you don't know jack. Dual wielding is best for using it with daggers or sword and dagger.

What do you think is the best class to use? I'm a rogue right now, but a bit bored of it and I wanted to try Mage or Warrior but wasnt sure which one I wanted because the Warrior armor and weapons looks cool, but the Mage talents look fun.

It is the whole reason why I make my videos to show people what I know and I'm glad the videos are helpful. My play style for this game is just 1 tank and all range. I've try different combos but I find that the group setup I got helps me go through the game easier. Thanks for watching and comment.

Morrigan teaches you shapeshifting ability and the gem you touch in this ruins teaches you the arcane warrior. I'm not sure what you mean she won't give you the skill.

and that's the only thing she ever says. I've even killed Flemmeth and everything.

Hmm... usually when I'm playing a rogue or warrior she tells me that she can't teach me the skill, maybe try asking her on a mage class to see if that will work. If that doesn't work then something is seriously wrong. Note: once unlocked you can give that ability to any mage class.

It's a long painful process to learn it from Wynne. You have to get into a few cutscenes like when she first gain her special talent and after she just falls over. After those 2 cutscenes you should be able to talk to her about it and be able to learn the class from her. Like I said it's a long and painful process... buying the book is much easier lol

I've only used Vegas a few times but make sure you record your gameplay at 1280x720 resolution and make the same settings on vegas.

Oh, sorry, your main character get 2 specialization points at level 7 & 14. You don't need to get approval for any party members for them to get specializations points they will automatically get 1 point at level 14. I believe the only character that only get one specialization point is Sten. All other members will come with 1 specialization talent when you recruit them.

Yeah, it's just plain silver, but you can download a mod to retexture it if you're playing it on the PC version. I believe I've seen dark red, black and black & gold, and maybe gold & silver textures.

Wynn doesn't unlock spirit healer class you have to buy the book from a shop. It's been a while since I played, but I think there's 2 ways of getting it and Wynn is not one of them.

If i had to choose between blood mage and spirit healer as a arcane warrior i'd choose blood mage.

You have wynne as healer anyways and some nice crowd controll is always nice.

You'd either want More survivability for spirit healer or go for blood mage for easier kills if you do things right.

Leliana uses a mage robe, probably is "Robes of a Wicth" from the "Wanders of Thedas" store in Denerim, probably, but these are clothes for a mage, i mean is a better use in a mage.
