I'm also playing this piece in the high school band I play in, and the only advice I could give you is not to breathe so often. It's making the melody sound too staggered, and did you say you were sight reading this? Very well done. I can't sight read that well.

Not long, i was just sight reading it really and the end bit isn't actually me playing. i might be able to do it faster now, haven't really tried
it is a trio but i only played the tune, maybe i'll put the whole trio on next time x
