  • Thats beauitul to watch

  • Why is the Earth so small? Earth is four times bigger than the Moon yet the Earth looks the same size as the moon viewed from the Earth?

  • @daro2096 fuck i never thought of that earth should look fucking huge its the same distance both ways and the whole thing looked like a fake dog turd.

  • @datzfast

You know swearing stunts your growth.

  • Is there really such a thing as an Earth-rise when viewed from the moon? I thought the moon is tidally locked to make the same face toward the earth.

  • Something looks fake about this - the Earth is more than 10 times brighter than the surface of the Moon - if you could place the Moon on your kitchen table it would appear very dark gray. This video has the surface brightness of the Moon and Earth being roughly comparable. See the videos from Apollo for the correct balance of hues.

  • Xypsilonz is right, stars are only visible, even in near earth space, if the sun is completely obstructed. Thats why you cant see stars.

  • @cheitman1991

Not true. You can see the brightest stars in the daylight.

  • @daro2096

Actually, he is right. You should learn about the very basics of photography (exposure, specifically). In order to see stars in a photo or video on the Moon, the exposure time would need to be over five seconds. In order to see the stars clearly, an exposure of greater than one minute is required. However, doing so would extremely over-expose the lunar surface. That is why, to image the lunar surface, an exposure time of just about one-five hundredth of one second is used.

  • @dumbtreeclimber

I wasn't talking about photography. I was talking about seeing stars with your own eyes in the day side of the sun in orbit. The human eye will pick up stars even in sunlit conditions in orbit. The reason we don't see stars from the sunlit surface is because the sunlight is refracted in the atmosphere. The blue wavelength is absorbed hence you see a blue sky. From space there is no such thing to block out the stars.

  • @daro2096

Okay, yes, that is correct. I didn't see the other person's comment.

  • its great.

Schaue dir folgende links an: weltbildfrage(dot)de; weltbildfrage(dot)de; innenweltbild(dot)de

  • It looks cooler on Mass Effect.

  • I know man, modern day graphics are soon gonna look MORE realistic than realism it's self!! :D

  • why is it that stars aren't visible from the moon?

    kind of hard to believe

  • Because the the sunlit moon and earth are extremely bright compared to the stars. If the camera was adjusted to let in enough light to see the stars, the moon and earth would be nothing but bright white blobs.

Imagine peering into the dark while someone shines a flashlight in your face. Sci-fi special effects and computer graphics usually show stars and planets at the same brightness but that has nothing to do with real-life conditions.

  • wow!!!

  • What an idiot.

  • You're father smelt of elderberries.

  • you like stickin your nose in my dads crotch hey.

  • You need to try harder than that if you want to insult somebody. I'll give you one more try.

  • OMG LOL!

  • to eduardos24: I think the stars aren't visible because the footage is taken on the bright side of the moon, and because the moon reflects the light of the sun, the stars aren't visible. I'm sure they'll be visible on the dark side of the moon =)

    greetz

  • @Xypsilonz

Without stars there is no navigation.

  • thats pretty spectacular

  • Do you already know how fast visible Universe really MOVES?

Search youtube video, Idea from Kuopio

    Peace and LOVE

  • oh yeah, it moves super fast, but from as far away as most things are from where we are, it looks really slow.

  • Its so beautiful!
