  • that was excellent

  • What program you used?

  • I am about to start learning face rigging in max, how long does it take you to rig faces usually?

  • looks real good !

    rigging Time ?

  • May I ask you to tell me, what mouthShapes are assigned to each mouthControler directions?

    Like:

    +X is

    -X is MouthCornerPull

    -Y is Jaw Open

    etc.

    Thank you!

  • wow- what a fantastic rig!

  • smooth movement :D really well done^^

  • is genial........

  • this is the suite maxon cinema 4d true...

  • That looks pretty nice! but I think that's the Victoria 4 model for Poser...

  • is that maya? or what software r u using??

  • read description. XSI.

  • nice rig. wonder how easy it would be to animate then edit accurately in a graph editor though, as the curves would have a fairly abstract relationship to the face muscles.. in my experience with animating facial setups (quite extensive) a pretty fine level of control is needed at some point to really polish a performance. Be interesting to try it though.. Any animations with this rig?

  • Wouldn't you be able to do the same using driven keys from Lightwave?

  • that looks awesome! You wrote a script like if the object Cube.1 move up on Z axis the shape key slider moves forward too right? The only problem is i don't know a programm language,i know a bit about shapes.

  • great rig man, looks very handy.

  • Done in XSI. There are several morphs(no phonemes)which are expression linked to the main cicular control object near the lips. Every axis of direction controls a different mouth shape...and the script is modified with a condition to keep shapes from going into negative values. Every phoneme can be shaped by putting the controller in between the main shapes somewhere. It animates 10 times easier than keyframing sliders and looks more fluid because of the overlap in shapes.

  • wow! i love to see a tutorial of that rig T,T i'm good working in xsi but i'm still a roke in scripting.

  • wow man... that was nice.. you used morf targets and then link them in expressions? or there is a way to deform the mesh that smooth with scripts?? plz tell me man.. cuz i would really like to have those easy controlers to animate right! take care

    .da.

  • "Wow", that looks like maya.

Where did you learn how to do that?,
