Best cover of Hazey Jane 1 on youtube. I've probably watched this video over 100 times and it has undoubtedly improved my rendition of the song, thank you for sharing, Jonn.
fantastic guitar skills and most excellent singing to go with it mate. nothing wrong with your little finger where it is, shows you have good initiative and you are thinking outside the box. I don't think it matters how it looksmuch, mostly its the sounds your making and your timing i'm impressed with
really great playing. i noticed you do the same thing i do with my right pinky - resting it on the body as you play. i've never seen anyone else do that. probably cause it's bad technique, haha. no disrespect. once again, excellent playing.
You're probably self taught like me. I find that I get a better purchase on the strings with my pinky resting on the the body. Lots of good guitar players seem to agree with us. I've had a go at keeping the pinly available and it can help, but I soon lapse back to my old bad habit.
@ValvaliantFour : technique schmecknique. one of the best acoustic finger style players around, the highly underrated Bruce Cockburn plays with his pinkie resting-- and that guy has a whole band in one thumb and three fingers.
Not the usual busking material but I'm sure it would have been a welcome change for the listeners. I've never really got into John Martyn. Just his best known songs.
Great job man love it!!

very nice... as far as the technique goes, some dude called Mark Knopfler does something similar!
Great job

Amazing. The best cover I've seen to date. Any chance you can reveal the tuning? For Nick. His music should be heard everywhere...

@JonnDalton. May I interject?
I think it would be great to hear you do a John Martyn cover. Maybe may you never, solid air or bless the weather?
Love this by the way! I've tried tuning to CGCFCE but my bottom string always buzzes? Do you have any tips? By the way it's ok when I put a capo on.
Thanks, Sam.
