  • too bad he's retiring this year :(

  • I didnt understand why he got angry...??

  • @prs1281 double fault... pretty obvious c'mon

  • @lorpira sorry i dont understand tennis that much

  • hahaha xDD I love Fernando Gonzalez <333

  • Fifteen Thiiiirty

  • qué imbécil!

  • 0:06 ... commentator... fifteen - thirrrrrrty :D

  • let it out Gonzalez

  • intelligent stuff from Gonzalez

  • @akase47 - yeah really, strong commentator

  • I don't know why the comentator laughts, this man (gonzales) it's a true asshole...

  • @soloquierosignearme You obviously have never seen him play. He's very nice, even here when he broke his racket he only did it because he was angry at himself, not at the crowd or at Federer. The video title is very misleading in that sense.

  • @SDSBass yeah, never, nice forehand, worst backhand ever. And always gettin mad with himself" because he believes his tennis it's better than Federer's one and he can't understand why he loses.

  • @soloquierosignearme Are you trolling or just retarded? He didn't get mad because he tough his tennis was better. He got mad because he missed that second serve. And worst backhand ever? Now that's the ultimate proof you have no idea about his game. Yes, his backhand is weak compared to his forehand, but it's still better than most of the backhands you'll find in the top 30. Go be a jackass somewhere else.

  • @SDSBass hahaha whattt??? you must be kiddin', you never break a raquet because of a bad serve that puts you 15-30 that wasn't the reason... the reason his score with federer was like 11-0... and that must be frustrating buddy.. and he has a really poor backhand, just good slice

  • @soloquierosignearme you mustn't opine about tennis players if you never saw them play. It's very easy to say "yeah.. he's an asshole" just judging for a moment where he got angry. We all have those days. Gonzalez has the best forehand ever, he is a very nice guy and he has a lot of respect from other tennis player, including the leyends.

  • @franciskika They all have those days but this guy is just arrogant, and he prove it defyin the crow in that way... best forehand is for Federer, or Lendl if you like...

  • @soloquierosignearme But he didn't defy the crowd. I saw that match, the crowd was cheering for him and they all laughed when he started hitting his racket. Stop sucking Federer's dick for once. Federer and Gonzo were good friends. Gonzo never thought he was better than Federer, but he still played with all his he had, and that's something everyone appreciated.

  • @SDSBass He's just a looser and always be, good luck!

  • @soloquierosignearme Yeah, just keep on sinking yourself deeper into your own retardation.

  • So sad that he is retiring next month :(:(:(

  • Feña, te vamos a echar de menos :/

  • HASTA SIEMPRE FEÑA :(

  • @Maurinator710 yaaaaa como si se hubiera muerto el wn...xD

  • love this guy xdd

  • fifteen...THIRTY.

  • fifteenxTHIRTY!!! lol

  • The crowd in tennis is dangerous...one second they are on your side, the next one totaly against you

  • @Tumorikaxx thats very true. just like last year in the us open semifinal federer vs djokovic. the crowd was with federer when he was doing so well, then they turned to djokovic's side and then djokovic rallied and beat federer. the crowd can really be the deciding factor to who wins a match

  • @laxlegend93 Thats why many times people make jokes on tennis fan because they say WHO THE HELL ARE YOU CHEERING FOR ON THIS SET? ahahahah

  • @Tumorikaxx EXACTLY hahaha!!

  • Grande Feña!!!

  • umadbro?

  • Federer didn't joy at that, he was freaking scared at that moment !

  • layani: fifteen...THIRTYYY!!

  • vergüenza me da da éste representante a veces :/

  • @spellbound1985 yo no :P

  • Please I hope Fernando is well for the Australian Open-miss seeing him play! <3

  • Gonzalez culiao!!

  • umpire: fifteen, thiiiiiiiirty!

  • i think federer face says... "I know dude... I've had those anger management too"

  • gonzalez sucks because he trys to hit the shit out of the ball everytime it comes his way

  • @UnitedStatesOfSpange The thing is, he gets those shots in, that's why his got the biggest forehand in tennis and has made a grand slam final. Try topping that against someone who "sucks"

  • @khemistryy "made a grandslam final" and got owned

  • @UnitedStatesOfSpange Over the past 7-8 years not many people have made the grand slam finals because of the "big 3."

  • 15 dislikes are Babolat's racket ... ( :

  • lol, everyone gets angry against roger :)

  • Fernandooooooo, umadbro :P?

  • Fifteen thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirthyy hahahaha and then smashing and crowd roars..!! Gonzo unique Bombardero de la Reina.!!

  • he got mad @ himself... vs'ing Federer

  • fifteen THIIIIIIIRTY,warning Mr. Gonzalez.... priceless!!

  • fifteen thiiiiiiirteen

  • @ByzantineEmperor550 fifteen thiiiiirty, not thiiiirteen lol

  • @poplova

oh i'm sorry for that sweetheart...

  • against my ass! :)) he was playing against Federer and he became angry AGAINST HIS RACKET!!! AND HOOOLLY GOOD WHAT A GOOD FEELING WHEN YOU DESTROY A RACKET!!! THE ENERGY THE FORCE IS AMAZING!!!

  • I can't do that cause if i do, I can't play tennis anymore

  • @banzkura same here man, we need to make our way to the Grand Slams. Is 22 a bit too old to get started? lol

  • @Flamestar1989 hell no man i'll be 22 next week, i'll be turning pro any day now,i can feel it! I can pratically see the sponsors fighting each other to sign me up :)

  • According to the commentators, he seems to be angry at his serving more so than the opponent.

And although I'm not a professional when I play a serious match I rarely find myself angry at the opponent.

It's usually because of my own performance. Serves aren't working, backhands are going long, not moving my feet etc...

  • Man if Serena ever did somethin like this, she'd be the most hated tennis player on the planet, Oh wait she did do somethin like this jus not as bad & she is the most hated tennis player on the planet. Wonder what the difference is?

  • @c2g1980 no serena lost her mind at a lines person for doing their job then threatened voilence against them, then calimed she was innocent and badly done by.Gonzalez was just frustrated with his own level of play and took out his frustration by smashing his racquet there is a difference. a BIG difference

  • @xohxxmyx Not talkin bout that incident. She had an incident like this way b4 that ever happend. That was like last yr. She was hated way b4 the line judge incident. The comments on espn.com comment page under the article was loaded blck bs & racial slurs bcaus she was frustratef w/her own play. She just slammed her racket once outta frustration & she was treated as if she'd shot some1.

  • @c2g1980 well im not a serena fan but it probably comes down the her position i mean millions of kids look up to her and i guess people see her as a bad role model if she has that kind of behaviour (im not saying they should she didnt ask to be a role model) but that tends to be why when the 'top' players do something like this it gets such a bad reaction. havign said that i do think serena has a bit of a 'diva' attitude problem.

  • @c2g1980

gonza has a bad temper but he aslo has the charisma. He never unleashed his frustration on the umpire on any other staff like serena does

  • @xohxxmyx AMEN! BIG difference! Even Rog has broken his racket! But when was the last time he threatened the life of someone on court?

    Not cool.

  • @xohxxmyx Serena.. roid rage?

  • @c2g1980; you are right, thank you!!

  • @c2g1980 the crowd wanted him to smash it again

  • @c2g1980 she s already the most hated. LOL

  • @zamamattiolo Yea thats what I said. My 1st sentence was sarcastic.

  • Gonzalez is one of those players who should have had like a fucking amazing career but it didn't happen... I feel sorry for him, he had potential... The first time I saw him playing was at the Australian Open 2007, he had a fantastic tournament, but he met a super-fucking-brilliant Roger Federer in that Final.

  • I love how the umpire says, fifteen-thirrrtyy

  • Shit man. Does this guy know how many kids don't have access to quality rackets? What a terrible example.

  • @Killer390

You should really be asking Marat Safin that same question lol. That dude has gone through hundreds of thousands of dollar in broken rackets, no joke.

  • @johnmalory26 WTF? TYPICAL GREENGO...GREEN GO HOME

  • @Ciprianodelaguna you mean gringo?

  • haha that was funny

  • *SMASH, crowd cheers* "oh you guys like that huh?" *crowd cheers*

    *SMASH, crowd cheers*

    *SMASH, crowd cheers*

    *SMAAASH! crowd cheers louder*

  • like the umpires voice after gonzales smashed his racket

  • WHOS THIS GONAZALES?

  • @tatotato7777 get out of here dude...

  • Federer looks realy great in this ;)

  • Fifteen THIrty

  • I think Gonzo is no 1 in rankings for RSPY (Rackets Smashed Per Year) at present, but certainly much behind McEnroe and Safin in history of ATP.

  • "Some very intelligent stuff from Gonzalez." Umm, I think that's overstating it a bit Mr. Announcer.

  • fifteen thiRTY!... hahah

  • how many extra rackets does he have?? O_O

  • @yobmas722 in one of the other videos i have you can see him preparing his bag and he has about 17 rackets i think....atleast his prepared

  • @xohxxmyx cool... and are they all identical?

  • @yobmas722 He's sponsored so as many as his sponsor can afford to manufacture for him. He could probably sit smashing them all day and get away with it lol.

  • Comment removed

  • I love the ump reacting to Gonzo breaking the racket: "fifteen.. THIIRTYYYYYY!!"

  • Tennis might be frustrating but I won't fall over myself for those players for the simple fact that they are making sweet millions whilst other people are working their asses off to get a basic income.

  • Did the umpire say warning miss gonzales

  • its sad that today we have more rude players,

  • Misleading title!

  • Didn't Federer do the same thing in this match?

  • Its good to see Gonzo back on tour after his injury last year!!

  • @1957thack It truly is. I look forward to seeing him during summer hardcourt season.

  • why are the crowd cheering him, yet when federer did the same in another match, they boo'd him?! WHAT IS THIS.

  • It looks like Babolat makes garbage racquets. He would only destroy his racquet like that if 1) it caused him to lose points, and/or 2) it is worthless. If Babolat keeps giving him more racquets to destroy, I must be right.

  • cazzo di cattiveria proprio.

  • Who?

  • fifteen THIRTY

  • gonzalez is a cunt

  • at the end of the video the commentator is about to say something i dont think we'll ever see federer do but of course federer did smash his raquet in a djokovic match in (i think) this tournament. was either indian wells or miami

  • Gonzalez at the end won that set! jajaja

  • Federer won this match..right?

  • Last week one of our opponents did this as well in a doubles tournament i played. I don't like this...It broke our concentration and we eventually lost the match after a comfortable lead.

  • @billybizar sorry to say man but if you and your partner cant put something like this happening out of your mind and refocus on your game then you've got big big problems!!

  • @xohxxmyx that made my day !! =D

  • Several points I'd like to make here:

    1) Tennis is a extremely frustrating sport.

    2) "That will cost him" No I dont think he pays for his own rackets

    3) It wasnt really "intelligent" I dont think that Gonzalez wanted the crowd on his side by throwing his racket. It wasn't necessarily tactics by the Chilean

  • @Scouserrrr08 Yes tennis is frustrating.

when they said "that will cost him" They were refferring to him potentially being fined for his behaviour you here him get a warning as he walks back on court...not about the cost of his racquet

Gonzalez didnt do that to get the crowd on his side...he just did it becuase his a bit crazy and was angry when the crowd reaccted he just went along with it because his like that :) But it did work...the crowd liked him for awhile after that!

  • @Scouserrrr08 he pays for nothing :D for rackets clothes and also is underwear he got many sponsors ... idiot

  • @justkjjin Your an idiot Be gone mate

  • @Scouserrrr08

    it was not a tactic

  • @Scouserrrr08 tennis player's don't buy their rackets, well the professional players don't

  • Comment removed

  • I love it how the commentator is about to say how thats something we will never see from federer. Im pretty sure this must have been a couple of weeks before he did break his racquet against djokovic haha.

  • he still has to work his anger up to reach safin's "best"days. nevertheless i was always very fond of the russian

  • When he did it people were amused

When federer did it they booed him

  • He gets angry and do that can make him happy

  • LOL the umpire was like " fifteen- THIRTY"

  • comment

  • no class

  • i love this guy =)

so entertaining and funny, way to raise the crowd :P

  • i like it how the commentator makes it look like it was some tactical move from gonzalez

  • i show no respect for gonzalez for this....

  • I do that shit all the time

  • @germanch00 hahaa

  • He can aleast give that racquet to me, cheap guy takes it home with him

  • típico comportamiento de chileno...

  • @gulugu reclamas por q es grosero y tu caes en la misma groseria y mas encima racismo ?

  • @951andres jajajajaja, no te preguntaron eso!!!!

    Usa un traductor mejor...

  • fifteen - theEEERTY

  • what a panzee! Serena did it in one smash lol

  • what a fucking idiot learn to behave on the court, one smash is enough

  • what happens wen u get mor then one warning? do u forfeit?

  • i think he did that so the crowds cud cheer for him..jk

  • hizo su showcito, saco aplausos, y al final repasa a Federer...

    QUE KAPO FERNANDO!!!

  • He gets angry against Roger???... I don´t see anything in this video that would make him angry because of Roger!

  • @ezayi his playing against federer.....federer is on the other side of the court....can you not see that?

It doesnt say he is anrgy because of federer

  • @xohxxmyx Of course I saw him. That´s why Im asking. It would be more proper to say he was on angy on the court.

  • @xohxxmyx That does not mean Gonzo is angry because of Federer...even if he was playing alone, he would have done the same...

  • @federerbestcIass i never said gonzalez was angry because of federer

  • @federerbestcIass He never said he was angry at federer you fucktard

  • He breaks his shit and then cleans it up nicely in the end. Fernando is a nice guy. I like him.

  • man, this is attitude, a word lost in time in the court... sadly

  • commentator says his action is "Intelligent"!!!!!

  • Haha gonzalez is gold, this is the sort of thing the crowd loves to see. It creates entertainment and character

  • shit in all my years of playing tennis i never got to do that cuz i only have one racket :(

  • @surferdude4261 LOL, I actually did that once. Couldn't play till next pay day.

  • wth... he can give me the racket if he dont like it.

  • OTAAAARIOOO

  • idk how many times ive seen this but i laugh every time lol

    yorkie

  • Gonzo's a machine

  • 1:03 "U MAD?"

  • @MEM90s yes, Federer knows that he's mad

  • jajaaaa

    por sorete

  • Gonzo we love you :D XD

  • lol Fed :))
