This show makes no sense! This episode is about how they first start dating and what not. Then another episode is about Doug and Richie finding 2 girls at the club while Doug is bouncing and they "first" meet. And then, there's another episode where Doug and Carrie have a conversation about how they knew each other since they were kids (earlier season).

not to mention, Holly the dog walker plays a store clerk for baby stuff. And spence who is allergic to peanuts, eats peanut M&Ms ... wtf?

@PancakePlease that is EXACTLY what annoys me about this show. i mean it's hilarious but there are sooo many flaws and different versions of certain things. for example in one episode from an earlier season deacon says "i've worked at ips ALMOST as long as you" (to doug) and here deacon already works there. that's what i love about "friends" there everything makes perfect sense together.

This episode contradicts the "Veiled Threat" show in which they supposedly married in 1995. In this episode they went to go see the movie "Waiting To Exhale" which came out December 22, 1995; not that summer. This whole charade lasted for months which means they would have been in 96 and Doug wouldn't be getting his pension yet. It would lead you to believe they got married in 96. So only the writers know when they truly got married.

There are so many continuity errors in KoQ involving Doug and Carrie Carrie's sister, and when Danny and Spence met that it's probably just best to sit back and enjoy the show for what it is. Great Show!!

in season 3 episode 8, they said doug and carey had been dating for 6 months in 1993, doug had already been working at ips, and it was the first time carey met dougs mom

in season 8 episode 3, its the summer of 1995 and they had only been dating for two months, and doug hasn't had his job at ips yet.

in season 4 episode 16, doug and carey had

gotten married in 1995

season 6, episode "dougie houser", got their house in 1004 and were married for 2 months

to add up on that, in season 5 ep 20 [driving reign], carrie said doug gave her a fortune cookie saying paper on his first day at work cuz it made him feel destined to be a ips driver.

But he's not taking the driver job seriously in this episode.
