  • I never get tired of watching this video. It makes me so proud of being from ORIZABA.

Everytime I show it to friends and colleagues the words of WOW, GORGEOUS, AMAZING and frases like IS THIS MEXICO? come from their mouth.

Thank you MonjaAlferez09, for creating those very special moments of pride.

  • Hey Jesse,

    Great to hear from you.

  • Hey Jesse,

    Great to hear from you.

I understand you perfectly, the same thing happens to me. As you know, my work outs me in contact with clients from around the world and when they see the pictures I have in Office they all have the same exclamations.

This is ine of the reasons for wich I started to work in this project.

Orizaba has so many treasures to show to the world. Starting to all the Mexicans.

Thank you for your comments, they'll be always welcome.

  • Hey ELANTICRISTO20121,

Thank you for your comment. Very nice of you to take the time to do it.

Check on the rest of the videos, in this channel you're going to find a lot about this beautiful place. Orizaba is not a large city, by all means, just over 118,000 inhabitants (2005), but, we the 'chayoteros' feel very proud of our history, nature and monuments and want to share it with the world.

Thank you again and welcome to this channel.

    Cheers.

  • Thank you for your words, very kind of you to take the time to write them.

  • Wow, beautiful city!

I've read about the Iron Palace that Eiffel designed as a City Hall a centruy ago, but I never saw how beautful the rest of the city was. A beautiful surprise.

Tks for showing the beauties of your city.

  • Thank you for your comment saman248,

You're right, most of what's known about Orizaba around the world is

No. 1 the Pico de Orizaba and

No. 2 the beautiful Palacio de Hierro

    (Iron Palace),

but as you can see in these images, there's a lot more about this historical city than those.

I invite you to check on the rest of the videos. Orizaba and it's secret treasures will 'enchant' you.

Thank you for visiting the channel.

  • Beautiful images. Mexico is a country full of surprises. I've been in Mexico many times and I never seen anything like this place. How big is it? Is it close to Mexico City? I've traveled to the capital and Guadalajara for business in the past, Cabo and PV for Vacation but I never heard of this place. Why is that? It looks like a wonderful touristic place.

By the way, great music! Who's playing the solos in the violin? it's one of the best interpretations I've heard. Thanks.

  • It's actually a small city, for mexican standards, just about 118,000 inhabitants ( 2005 census ). But as you can see in the videos, with a lot of history. The city is aprox 260 kms (162 miles) from Mexico City. You can fly to Mexico City (4 hours by car), to Puebla (2 hours by car) or to Veracruz City (2 hours by car) and you'll be in Orizaba in no time.

Orizaba is a very historical city, as you can see. Unfortunately, it's government never care to promote the city as a touristic destination

  • In regards to the music,

It's my favorite interpretation of Vivaldi's classic, Le Quattro Stagioni (The Four Seasons). Directing the Israel Philarmonic Orchestra is Zubin Metha. Issac Stern, Pinchas Zukerman, Itzhak Perlman and Shlomo Mintz playing the violin (TRY TO TOP THAT).

I don't remember exactly what part was played by each. It doesn't matter, the result was THE BEST POSSIBLE interpretation of this virtuoso concert.

    Don't you agree?

    Thank you for your request.

  • Wow, what a beautiful place!

I've been visiting Mexico since I was a child. Our parents used to take us to Mexico on vacation and I still do it every time I can. But I never knew Vearacruz was so beautiful! I own a house in P Vallarta but I usually travel to Guanajuato, San Miguel o Guadalajara while I'm down there. Next time I travel through Mexico, I'll make sure to visit the beautiful Orizaba.

    You're right, it looks magical.

  • Hi Carriebtc,

    Thank you for your comment.

The Hi Mountain Region of Veracruz is one of the most unknown tourist areas in the country. Totally unspoiled for those who don't like big tourist crowds. The locals are very welcoming and friendly. The food is a wonderful combination of Puebla gourmet cooking and Veracruz, what else could you ask for ?!

There's a local Tourist Office in the old Palacio de Hierro or just ask the locals where to go and what to do,

    .......

  • they love to talk about their beautiful city and sorroundings. They'll be very happy to show you their city's treasures (just remember, they are not tourist atractions for them, they conform their everyday city dwellings). You'll be surprised!

Soon I'll be posting more information and a list of what to do while visiting the Magic City of Orizaba.

Thanks again and enjoy Mexico next time you visit.

    Cheers, MonjaAlferez09

  • Estimado-a fmlam3,

    Saludos desde New York City.

    MonjaAlferez09

    .....te va a "encantar"
