These guys are simply amazing. KOL are capable of transcending so many music genres from the fifties Doo-Wop sound of Mary, to the sixties sound of Mollie's Chambers, to the Honkie-Tonk sound of Rodeo King, and all the way back to this song (Revelry) which could be compared to the seventies sound of the Eagles.

KOL are criticized by some for their changing sound, but I think it's more of a strength, and an example of their dynamic talent, instead of a weakness or a fault. JMHO.

I know a good drummer is essential to any band, but it's mostly a subconscious thing - you're aware of it, but as part of the whole. This drummer is different.
