This kind of incident can happen often "if its really sunny" bizarre but true. Basiclly when the sun is in the right position, it shines on the sensors at the front of the car, this makes the sensors think something is in front of the track(like another car for example) and so stops the car dead, this will then form a chain reaction behind. The same can happen "if it rains a lot" rain also gets into the sensors and create the same illusion.
