If you have several used wide glides you don't want I will buy them from you for a reasonable price. If you are interested contact me at ajelstein at gmail_com (address obscured so the bots don't get it)
@LayEmOut60 I can't be sure but it looks like nylon coated 60 lbd steel and the the fact that he tied a uni knot in the wire where it connects with the main line suggests it's 49 strand (also referred to as knotable (Sp?) wire)...I have used the same in 40 thru 60 lbd with good results. There is lots of past discussion available on this topic (including answers directly from Larry) if you search wide glide on Larry's forum
@johndtuttle You call all that prep that's needed to get one lure functioning so so easily ? And BTW none of those glides shown is 5', Larry is doing his best to get lure screwed up in manufacturing working. How often you buy new lure and have to modify it to get it working?
@lifeisfuneh ok, don't by one, no one cares if you don't or learn some great tips to be sure your bait is working right. It ain't "prep" it's called how to do it right.
@johndtuttle Time for you to wake up and face the reality, I unfortunately I own several of these and I wish I could return them but since I removed the feathers from rear hooks and no longer have the packaging the dealer will not take them back. I'm not upset that I spent the money but I hate when some people can't admit that mistake was made... On the other hand Whopper Plopper is great.
@lifeisfuneh I just think you will find that once you really get it down it will catch big time if any glide/walk the dog bait will. Just fish them, you'll be stoked.
where can i buy one in england or online please

So, the 4' - 8' glide claim was a just a bit exaggeration - right ? ;)

@lifeisfuneh
apparently you don't know what your looking at.
johndtuttle 7 months ago
@johndtuttle perhaps you should see the other videos where claims were made that it will glide up to 8 feet.
lifeisfuneh 7 months ago
@lifeisfuneh perhaps you should think about a lure that glides 5 feet (easily) as shown in the video towing wire instead of mono.
