im Assyrian, i feel my fellow brothers are too light with J-z... Jizzz... But that said, nothing beats Da Power Of Prayer.. u DA man... defend to the death.. iz on bra... ufo,s the great deception ... fallen angels.... shape shifters...
As a reminder - watch the whole video before making comments. A few I've had to delete (aside from cursing) had nothing to do with what I said here and people were accusing me of all sorts of idiot stuff (including all the illuminati nonsense). Now...back to our regularly scheduled program.
@hyenacorporation 1) They hate the Jesus of the Bible. Their Jesus is a prophet, but not the same Jesus of the New Testament (Who is Prophet, Priest and King and God in flesh). Two different 'jesuses' even though they share some similar stories. Fundamentally different by definition.
2) Your sentence here makes absolutely no sense...especially with all of the rape, child abuse and other things that get swept under the run in Sauid Arabia.
@MrLampica Lotta 'dogma' of your own you're spitting up there. At least you're being honest. I can appreciate that. To your question on what is Jesus supposed to save you from, let me ask you a simple question: does a fish know it's wet ?
How can you say people who dont believe like you hate your god? you dont know every unbeliever so you cant judge all them...you would'nt like it if everyone overgeneralize christians
here is the verse where he disses jesus.......Hail Mary to the city your a Virgin,
and Jesus cant save you life starts when the church ends ..........look it up i did because i wanted to make sure thats what he said and he did say it.
@dawala1000 Yeah, I know the verse. I actually recorded the 'reply' video to this one a while ago, but the audio blanked out....so a nice 6 part response....*poof*.
I like most of what you said. But remember the crusades. I am Christian and God gave me and everyone else free will. just cause they don't believe what we believe does not mean they hate God. He is the one that knows there heart. Be careful slander is a double edge sword.
@poleon27703 The crusades were reactionary...to the Muslim folks who took over Christian areas. But they have nothing to do with this video or the gospel. You wanna talk history, there are plenty of black eyes go to around...which proves my point: all men are sinners, including the ones who CLAIM to be Christians (especially since Christ never said 'in this sign, conquer'). Secondly...read your bible man. Then read it again.
No profanity, rude comments or insults, but where's my comment.
Anway I would like someone of the cristian faith to explain how Jay z dissed jesus, The whole verse must be explained not the one line that was misinterpreted.
Here's another video on youtube called "Hip-Hop Is A Religion" that addresses this topic and includes words from KanYe, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and more... Let me know thoughts after viewing it.
This is why im ashamed to call myself a christian bc all you do is judge you try to damn or cast judgment on someone who you dont know you dont know for a fact what he meant but you are telling ppl on here you do i cant respect that its wrong
@hot1fromnc you mean judging and damning like you're doing right now ? You mean speaking ignorantly like you're doing right now ? You mean telling people that they are wrong and you're right like you're doing right now ?
Mr. Pot - Mr. Kettle on line one for you. Something about color.....
comparing god to santa is not hatred. i was just trying to think of another thing people believe in. santa is something children belive in and i was saying i dont belive it but i dont knock it. just like i dont belive in god but i dont make fun of people who do. bc i admit no one knows for sure and i respect other beliefs. i cant hate something i dont believe exists. and im sorry u feel that just bc some1 doesnt share ur beliefs that means its hatred. that is a very strange assumption.
@abernatchez Sure it is. The Being who created you, gave you life, gives you food, clothing and shelter - either directly or indirectly - whose earth you walk on - you say He doesn't exist. That's hatred and disrespect. It's in the same league with saying that just because your brothers and sisters believe your momma exists and you choose not to, but don't knock them for doing so...even though your mother provides food and shelter for you. Let's be intellectually honest here.
Brother I know you are sincere, However I dont believe that you any many Christian's are well versed in facts not His-story. 1st with out using the bible (any one of the 200 versions) prove to me Jesus aka the Christ existed. I dont have to ask if God exist's as I can breath and see the river. This Christianity has been poison from it was introduced to us black folk. Check the facts, our recent ancestors (400yrs and up) were forced to accept this stuff, do 2 days of the origins of Christianity
@MosHighMovements Brother I know you are sincere, but apparently you're not well versed in any history concerning Christianity - just inaccurate critiques of it from outdated (and disproven) scholarship. First, there's plenty of extrabiblical references to Jesus by secular folks and others. Second, when you say '200 versions....If you're talking textual variants, get your numbers accurate. The rest of your statement is semi-ignorant as well. No one can 'force' a person to become a Christian...
@MosHighMovements Our ancestors that were exposed to Christ here in U.S. also enslaved their own people before being reconcile to God in Christ in this country, being slaves in america was our people punishment for denying God in 1st place. Check your facts. Oh can u Prove that Nefertiti or Caesar existed, no probably not u just assume they did because someone told a story and past down to some one else. What makes those books more credible than bible it is still a story that someone told?
@diragurl I wouldn't be so quick to claim slavery as 'punishment' for rejecting Christ in the first place. That info hasn't been made public by God, so it's not wise to presume. Christianity was in Africa before it got to Europe (Ethiopia first) and has been there. In fact, Alexandria, Egypt remained the intellectual center for Christian thought until 1100-1400 when muslims came through and burnt stuff to the ground (including an ancient library that dated back to the 2nd century).
I'm not surprised just pissed. One thing I hate in the world is fake people. I want to thank God for His gifts and that's it really. I mean wow. I will love to be the guy on the MasterCard commercial when Jesus judges people. A life of sin $120,000 a cost of a song dissing Jesus $20,000. The look on Jay z's face when he is sent to hell for eternal damnation PRICELESS.
@TheBlackdragon936 Dude, here's the thing - while we should take pleasure in knowing that God will judge all evil (either in Christ on the cross or in the sinner in hell) that should NOT produce an attitude of 'GET EM'. Great men like Francis Schaffer WEPT when asked about the duration of hell and the fate of those going there. Jesus wept of those who rejected Him (Matthew 23:37). Our attitude should be that of Paul in 2 Cor. 5 - we plead with men to come to a knowledge of the truth.
What's true bruh? Hope all is well! Like I've said on other sites folk really need to stop bandwagoning on stuff about other peope (Jay-Z or whomever) w/o actual facts! Firstly, if you read the lyrics to "Empire State Of Mind" Jay is not dissin' Jesus in the manner he is being accused of (but in glorifying sin he is)! I personally thing Jay takes things too far but that is a part of his game of being the "best" rapper! Folk just need to call him on the things he's actually wrong on though!
I think Jay Z shouldnt even mention Jesus in any of his disgusting rap songs. Now a days these rap artist have NO RESPECT for G-d or spiritual things. And ignorant christians like this guy justify them. How about Jay Z keep Jesus' name out of his mouth??
why he has a right to his beliefs? if he doesnt like jesus thats his choice. just like u choose to love jesus. if u have a right to say u believe in jesus and love him then others have a right to say what they feel. and if u truely believe in him then u have nothing to worry about. jay z is the one who 'jesus' will have a problem with.
@cluisana83 . I think Jay should keep Jesus out of his songs to, he opened a can of worms on that. Im glad he up front, so I can stay away from him and his music
Please tell me what in the Jay z verse is BLASPHEMOUS!! Please.... Everyone who has a video response to Jay z empire state of mind saying he dissed Jesus or Christians needs to start thinking first, then start thinking for themselves.. Don't follow the pastor cause he is corrupt also
If you pointed it out and it was the TRUTH/ or undisputable I would acknowledge it.. But there is clearly nothing to point out or everyone with vids would've done so instead of getting on the forum and looking uneducated.
@edhonerecords You mean like your current set of assumptions on here look ? Come on dude. You already said you don't read points that have already been addressed, act as if they don't exist, yet your comments have been answered. That's arrogance and presumption, not education....
@edhonerecords why do people who engage in premarital sex, curse and degrade women wear crosses on their necks ? Fashion statement. Wearing a Jesus necklace doesn't mean you love Jesus anymore than walking in to McDonalds makes you a quarter pounder with cheese.
Is calling yourself the God MC calling yourself God?! No! You don't understand the rap culture so don't speak on it!! You don't know what Jay or Rakim believe.. Once again this is another Christian making the people who follow the religion look foolish and/or ignorant... You have no premise
OR....you could be speaking in ignorance, as I've already mentioned in previous posts that my roots in hip hop go back beyond the golden age to about 84, I've had history and experience as a rapper, DJ and graff artist and I've been through the lyrics in detail to make my point. Of course, I mentioned this in previous posts...that you probably didn't read. :) Go do that.
I said rap culture not Hip Hop there is a difference... And things have changed over the last 25 years brotha. And I don't need to read posts b/c the video says all i need to know..
@edhonerecords Actually, you do need to read the posts. But hey.....ignorance is bliss. You can choose to turn off reading answers to your questions, act as if they don't exist, and then feel good about asking a 'hard question' and saying it hasn't been answered. Go on and give yourself a high five for such strenuous intellectual work.
Jay-Z dissing Christ is nothing new 2 me. I knw he is a Mason that is tied up with the devil. SO what Most Christians knw the truth about Jay-Z already! But they sleeping on Beyonce Knowles,Rihanna, Chris Brown, and many other artists they sleep on T.V shows, they sleep on Hollywood. But Beyonce Knowles sung in church is where she started so why in the world did she marry a man who HATES Christ?! Jay-Z Jacked her up when he laid her dwn
There are plenty of people who grow up in church and use gospel as a stepping stone to go secular. Many are Christian in name only. So it's no surprise when the siren call of the world's fame, money, prestige and so forth entice them to compromise.
just because someone doesnt believe in god doesnt mean they have hatred. i dont believe in god. i am a good person i happen to really like helping people.i dont make fun of religion/hate religion. its simply that i dont believe. just like i dont make fun of kids for believing in santa. i just dont believe in him either. u shouldnt assume theres hate. i dotn hate christ, i dont think hes real. period. and my bf believes, and doesnt affect us bc it is not an issue. we respect the others beliefs.
@abernatchez Thanks for your comment. I actually just got done recording video for this very topic (I've been working on doing it for a little while now). I end up addressing your very comments (even though I'm just seeing them this morning). Comparing God to Santa is actually an expression of hatred, whether you'd agree or not. I'll expound a bit more on the new video series.
she didnt compare him to santa. she said she doesnt believe in god and she doesnt make fun. she was just comparing it to another belief. and y cant u compare god to santa? theyre both things people believe in at some point. sry i just dont understand y ur saying thats hatred. we have no proof of god so why are u so sure.
@shortlilartist We have plenty of proof. Problem is, you don't want to believe in God, so you and people like you choose to be intellectually dishonest and explain away everything given to you.
im a Christian rapper, i know about the rap stuff, but Jay IS dissing Jesus....people need to STOP DEFENDING HIM, blackcalvinist is RIGHT...btw Jay Z DID kill Christians...he played part in killin 2pac, pac was a souled out Christian
@rjisreal Thanks for your comment. I've heard this as well. For the purpose of balance, there are some Muslim clerics and jurists who disagree with capital punishment (at least through the legal system) for the crime of iritidad (apostasy). Individuals and families that execute folks....don't get pursued/prosecuted as much for doing it. That's why you *rarely* hear any moderate Muslims ever come out against folk like Bin Laden even when they disagree with them on HOW to carry out Jihad.
im subscribing you your page bc i like your message & your replies that I read. I also think that it is necessary, despite knowing that sinners will be sinners, to call out what many are blinded. Thanks to Forerunner777 Jay Z deception message I was able to make others see.
it's a shame how you have the wrong interpretation of what jay-z said. He didnt 'diss' christ, in that song. if you defend christ do it properly. go to google and type in 'empire state of mind lyrics' and read that verse.,.,you'll see that you are incorrect :)
so its more than likely that you allowed yourself to selectively listen to that one line without fully listening and analyzing the full verse to decipher what he truly means
@KingTre06 Actually, I listened to the whole song in detail. I've been a DJ since 91 (all genres, not just hip hop), rapped throughout most of my MS and HS years and my roots go back a lot deeper than that. I've been a graffiti artist as well. So I did plenty of listening and didn't just 'focus on one verse'. Jay and most artists aren't that hard to follow - emcees use words. Words mean things. :) Jay is a good wordsmith - I've known that since he used to be Kane's hype man....so yeah.
honestly i dont see why people are making such a spectacle over word play. Like i said on pastorJustinofP4cm"s video, we live in a world where people can say and believe what ever the want. Who are we to judge. On top of that i could almost guarantee that you have never met jay z so how could you be so sure as to what he really means? Furthermore how do you know it wasn't a metaphor? If you follow alot of jay z's music you notice that each song always tells a story
....they were at a Jay-Z concert chanting hova hova hova and putting up the roc symbol and singing along to the lyrics "Jesus can't save u, life starts when the church ends". Thats MY beef!
lol...Jay-Z has been doing the blasphemy thing for years. LOL. Why are we surprised? Well, I am not. And to be honest, he can say whatever the heck he wants to say because in the end it will be his soul in hell fire...not mine (hopefully)lol. What I am appalled at is the quickness that some believers defend this dude, "oh he didn't mean that or he doesn't mean that or he isn't doing anything bad" it's like HELLO!!!!!! They come to church praising God...holy holy on Sunday yet the saturday....
@AbramoffJamie I did NOT expect Beanie to come out against Jay like that. But truth be told.... isn't the whole Hip Hop industry like that ? What does everyone talk about ? Stacks and stacks of paper and all the material things that accompany it. Oh...and drugs and women. With the random gun comment.
jay-z pushes it a bit farther than rakim because the reason why rakim calls him self the god mc is because RA(the sun god of ancient egypt) and rakim is heavily deep in black history.jay-z calls him self jayhova mocking the real god.
@EstiloLibre247 That's what I wanna know too (although if you look at folks like Clepto Dollar and T.D. Jakes, you can see where the money went (and that's not a GOOD thing...). Unfortunately, a lot of folks don't have a desire to hear truth (2 Tim. 4:3), so they are content with heaping up false teachers to teach them what their itching ears want to hear.....
@SettinDaRekordStr8 Sure....no historical records besides a few hundred eyewitnesses over three centuries, copies of the New Testament back to the late 1st century (John Rylands papyrus, Bodmer Papyrus - P66 and P46 respectively....) and about a dozen credible non-Christian references outside of teh NT (most of which are negative) prior to 325 AD.
By the way, the 'J' in Jesus is from the latin and germanic languages, which is where English draws heavily from. By telling us that 'there's no J in the Hebrew, Greek or Aramaic', you're doing the equivalent of saying 'there's oxygen and nitrogen making up the earth's atmosphere'.
Do this - go actually read some Christian literature outside of Osteen, Hinn, Copeland and other drivel. Start with Geisler, Bahnsen, Gentry, James White and move on from there.
Do yourself a favor, read up on some "non-Christian" lit. Learn about the council of Nicea 325 A.D., Learn about Ptolemy Soter, Heru Auset and Ausar. Me saying that there was no "J"'s in the language of the bible means HIS NAME WAS NOT JESUS! This is pretty elementary stuff not rocket science!
The "biblical" texts are a compilation of older "holy" books from different cultures and was created for POLITICAL reasons, NOT SPIRITUAL.
If not for slavery you wouldn't even know about a "Jesus"!
@SettinDaRekordStr8 I've read plenty of non-Christian literature. I've actually READ the canons of Nicea, not just someone's opinion. And typical of most pseudo-intellectuals, you skip right past everything I point out as flaws and simply restate your argument. Go back two posts and actually answer the stuff I said.
Its no right to group "nonbelievers" in one group. Im a Pagan, i choose that and it works fine for me and i seek no salvation from something i have absolutely no beleif in. Its unfortunate that Jay-Z used profane lyrics to dis one faith, BUT Christians dont really care much for Muslims as Muslims dont realy care for Christians and etc etc for most faiths...in fact some kill over religion. If your going to adress "non beleivers" please dont talk down in tone of voice as you think yourself higher.
@Rivik616 Thanks for your comments. My comments were not meant to 'talk down' and neither were they stated that way. I would invite you to think on a few things: prior to 310 and 325, no Christians 'killed' to spread their faith. Christianity was never meant to be a 'militant' faith in the same way that Islam was spread in the early medieval era.
@Rivik616 Secondly, I have more than a few Pagan/Wiccan friends who I dialogue with, so I think I'm fairly familiar with your belief system. While you claim not to believe in 'a God' per se, you (just like atheist folks I know of) probably don't consistently live your life like it. But that's for a long conversation on PM, not 500 characters on YouTube comments. Hit me up.
@nigga10301 You think so ? I think Pac and Jay were both 'good' at different things. I don't think one would've been 'competition' for the other. I hate that Pac fell into playing 'Bishop' in real life rather than just in Juice. I went to school with him and Jada at the BSA back in 86-87 (they were in 10th grade, I was in 9th). He was a good dude.
yea but you saw how it was wit biggie/mobb deep and pac. and i think the same would've happened with jay z and pac if he hadnt died b4 Jay z rose to fame. wait.... hold up.. did i say u went 2 school wit pac?!!!!
@nigga10301 Yep. I went to school with Pac. He and Jada were in 10th grade when I was in 9th. He was a theatre major at the Baltimore School for the Arts. I was a music major (I play saxophone - I'm a band director - as well as DJ, rap and do a little production).
@nigga10301 LOL. Pac wasn't a thug till after he left the BSA and Maryland and moved out to Cali. Pac was a cool dude and talked to EVERYBODY. If you were in a corner lookin' depressed, he'd come over and clown around with you to make you laugh. He was a good dude to be around.
@zand8888 Reading (and listening) are fundamental.
I never said they kill people for converting to Christianity in Egypt. I said that in Saudi Arabia, the penalty for openly converting to Christianity is death. I also said that there are plenty of Christians locked up in Egypt who are persecuted over their faith. That is true of most countries where Muslims are the majority (i.e Indonesia). The second comment is a delusion of your mind, as I didn't say that either.
Okay, no need to have a superiority complex. Yes I made a mistake with the first statement. However, you are ignoring that Christianity is a recognized religion in Egypt.
Also, am I being delusional? 2:45 "They hate god. They hate Jesus Christ." Quick lesson; Muslims believe in the same god as in Christianity and Judaism. They also believe in Jesus Christ, who they believed to be a prophet. Can you hate a god that you follow?
Showing some understanding of religion may help you out.
@zand8888 Scroll back a few pages on comments. The Jesus of Islam is not the Jesus of Christianity. The God of Islam is not the Triune God the Bible teaches. It's a bit on the foolish and irresponsible side to say that they worship the same God. The God of Islam is not a Trinity and Muslims consistently accuse Christians of shirk (polytheism). That's hate. So my comments stand. Perhaps you need to take some time and actually learn about what you criticize before you hit 'post comment'.
Nope. Same Jesus. They follow the same historical figure. You're still ignoring that both religions have the same origins.
Also, what is your point? You need to be just as ignorant and bigoted as them? It's working.
Not like I'm getting anywhere with this. Obviously you are stuck in a narrow world view, and what anyone posts will never reach you. Luckily, no one watches these videos, so no harm done.
@zand8888 Nope. The 'Jesus' of Islam isn't God. The Jesus of the Bible is - in history and in belief - God the Word, the Second Person of the Trinity.
And apparently....judging from the count of comments I still have yet to weed through, plenty of people (including you) watch. Thankfully, I don't base my worth on how many people watch my videos or not. :)
It's all in the view count, buddy. And that's something you're really lacking.
And the fact you upload quite a bit a bit of videos, and mooch off by responding to others, I think it's safe to say you're lying. You care quite a bit. :)
@zand8888 LOL. Dude seriously - if I was wrapped up in post count and view count, I'd have 'given up' a while ago. The people who need to watch....do. I'm not on YouTube for the attention....apparently you are (or at least to argue with folks in comments). And truthfully, this is the most 'responding to others' I've done in a while. Thanks for playing. *wave*
its going to be so funny when you christian take your last breath in this world expecting the HEAVENLY GATES and you get nothing lolololol RELIGION IS MAN MADE!! just like scientology was made christianity was made there is absolutely no PROOF that god relayed his message through a man for all we know he made it up religion is the reason for the bubonic plague in case you aint know they burned books and scrolls and killed people that could disprove them do you research.
@BrighterThanYours Interesting statements. I've done my research. So since you've done yours, you can tell me the number of greek NT papyri extant to 325 AD, name all of the greek historians and the jewish historian who reference Christians and Christianity prior to 325, as well as give a full explanation for why the testimony of all the early church writers prior to the 300's all cannot be trusted. Oh, and since you're omniscient about the afterlife, provide proof for that too.
to your first point...Psalm 82:6 I said, 'You are "gods"; you are all sons of the Most High.'..so jay is a god and so is everyone else.. we would have to be if we r created created in his likeness..its unfortunate that the church is focused on Jay-z and not reality. picking and choosing scriptures means nothing..anyone can do it..be ashamed
@rawgstal Look who's talking about picking and choosing scriptures. The context of Psalm 82 says nothing about making people 'gods', but rather calls the judges of Israel 'gods' since they held the power of life and death over men - but the VERY NEXT VERSE says that because of their injustice, they'll die like men. Nice try. LOL
my dear brother in christ. u cannot make a person a god. .either it is or it isnt. We are all gods because we are in the image and likeness of the creator. Dont confuse creation(what u see) with the creator(what u cant see).this scripture does not reference a particular event my brother, its a psalm, attributed to a psalmist(Asaph). It is a poem used to convey to man that although we are inherently God we will die like adam, as did jesus as a result of our transgressions
@rawgstal God wasn't created (Psalm 90:2). We are. God doesn't die, but lives forever. We die. Again...read all of the Bible, not just parts. Man is inherently man.... not God.
o my blackcalvanist..finally we agree..god was and is not created..neither is man..man was formed in the womb..unless u were formed some other way that im unaware of..and man as a species may die off but god never dies just takes on new forms...u wud never be able to profess eternal life as a man because flesh dies..so what part of u will live on my brother
@rawgstal formed in the womb is created. Sorry, no twisting the bible to make up your doctrine, friend. 6th day - created. Did not exist before other than in the mind of God as an idea, not a reality.
in the begining was the word and the word was with god and was god the the word became flesh..even the idea is life my brother..there is no begining and no end..only different forms that the creator takes on..without flesh there is no experience of god as a living thing
THAT was great i'm not ready to be the "christian" that title puts a lot on me though i did confess him as my savior my my question is where does that leave me?
Matthew 10:32-33. If you're one of His, this shouldn't a problem for you anymore than someone who is married should have a problem introducing their wife/husband as their wife/husband.
You do know that Muslims love Jesus, and He is the Messiah, The Prophet, The Messenger, whom which God gave the revelations of the gospel, and gave him the ability to cure, bring to life, and heal the blind.....
@AbulHasanYahya The Jesus you believe in isn't God, the Second Person of the Trinity. The God you believe in isn't the Triune God Christians believe in. Rather than being ignorant, you're being intellectually dishonest. Let's not pretend it's a misunderstanding and we believe in the same Jesus. The Jesus presented in the Bible is a different Jesus than the Qu'ran...and you believe, as a Muslim, that the Bible was corrupted and only the Qu'ran is accurate. Be honest, friend.
Of coarse the Jesus we in believe in isn't God, Neither is the Jesus of many other christians. I never said believe the same thing about him. Rather I said We do believe in Jesus and the Jesus we believe in is more in sync with the reality of what Jesus was, and what he represented.
It makes entirely no sense to believe that Jesus himself was God or the Son of God, but rather through tainted bibles this misinterprentation was spread.
I appreciate your honesty. A note though - anyone who says Jesus isn't God isn't a Christian. If you're talking about Jehovah's Witnesses, they are considered a cult (theologically)...just as Orthodox (Sunni and Shiite) Islam doesn't recognize Elijah Muhummad as 'God', but calls the NOI a theological aberration (a cult). To your other points - the Jesus you believe in and the God you believe in - if we sit them next to each other and describe them....aren't the same. Your own comments....
....reinforce this point. If I were to describe President Obama as a short white man who can't play basketball, it would be inaccurate (horribly) to say 'Oh, we just believe different things about him.' So no...we don't believe in the same God.
On your last point, I've heard the same 'tainted bibles' argument, but historically and archaeologically, it doesn't hold weight. I'd love to have an extended discussion with you on it outside of comments.
Actually, I'm not. We had an Indonesian pastor at my previous church and the way their government treats Christians is very uncool. It's worse some middle eastern countries than others. Pakistan for example: watch?v=xeRsfc8_4eg Look up Abdul Rahman as well. So I'm going to need you to get your facts straight before posting.
Sorry to break it to ya, but Christianity is overwhelmingly false.... only laughable when brought up in the scientific community (yes, science makes sense, you may think there is 'more' to science, but from what we are given, science explains everything). The Bible has a large amount of contradictions and scientific fallacies. There is no proof for the Christian God. You may say I can 'feel' him in me, but this feeling is felt in all religions(mostly dharmic religions, there is even a name for it)
Yes. It makes perfect sense to think that something as complex as a single plant cell was sprinkled with comet dust and lightning and grew into a multicelluar intelligent being...eventually. Or, for that matter, that your computer assembled itself.
As for contradictions - come with them on private message and let's go through them. I bet 90% of them are based on your misunderstandings of the text (if you actually HAVE any and you're not just parroting something you heard).
@onesogreat77 I've already seen Dawkins get his head handed to him on video by another Christian philosopher/theologian (McGrath). Watching paint dry is more entertaining. How about you take some time and go read some solid Christian philosophers and theologians instead of assuming ?
Actually Dame Dash first referred to Jay as J Hova, because Jay said he was the god emcee, and Dash said "so who do you think you are? J Hova?" The bottom line is a person who follows God wouldn't dare refer to themselves as God's name.
Brother you're on point!!!! First of all why would Christians listen to someone who calls themself J Hova?
On a side note, I have to disagree with you on the point you made about people who thank 'God' on awards shows....the question is 'WHAT god' are they thanking when they say, "I want to thank God."
I agree with most of what you said, but not about "Jay-Z and all non-believers hating God." Do you think that maybe he does not hate God, but he just does not think there is one? 16% of Americans do not even believe in a God, including quite a few celebrities, so it's not crazy to think he doesn't believe either. Usually it's not out of hatred these people say these things, it's out of lack of belief, and the annoyance they recieve from religous people everyday. Not necessarily hatred.
That's hate. I actually have a vid I'm going to throw up on this very topic and I like the way you phrased your questions. If you don't mind, I'm going to use them to intro the video on this very topic. You'll understand it a bit better when I put it up.
Agree completely on Jay-Z. I don't even know what the big deal is with someone who has glorified sin, covetousness, fornication, crimes and self-promotion (vanity) for years. Why are Christians surprised or even getting caught up in this?
Although I disagree with re: your verses on "the gospel." It's interesting to me that you do your "gospel" section without quoting any of the 4 gospels! Hello...that's a big red flag. Why don't you use Jesus' own words on salvation? God bless.
The whole Bible is Jesus's words. I'm not limited to just picking from the gospels when talking about salvation. :) All of the Bible - not just parts - are God-breathed and profitable for training in righteousness, reproof, correction and such so that the man of God will be completely furnished for every good work.
Of course it's all Jesus' words. But I meant (as you know) when He was on Earth?. I don't think the Gospels themselves or the Bible support your versions of the Gospel.
@RizNJ Honestly, you're not making too much sense. Either you believe all the words of the Bible including Ezekiel 26:22-33, Jeremiah 32:40, Mark 1:14-15, John 3:16-18, 35-46, 5:18-24, 8:24, Acts 4:8-12, 17:30-31....or you don't.... you can't turn one part of scripture against the rest and say 'well THIS part is more important'. If I misunderstood you, help me out.
Jesus died 2000 years ago. How can he save me? Jay-z is a physical force... unlike jesus. He can save me from falling of a cliff. Can jesus do that? Thanks for not posting my opinion although it has no profanity.
I love how this guy thinks that people can only either hate or love god... CRAZY. It's people like this that actually make the church look bad. How can people hate someone they don't believe exists?
I'm pretty thankful I never went to church as a child, I likely would've been molested along with all the other church children. Where was god when they were being abused by his representatives?
Now that's a pretty broad statement and a huge condemnation of people - similar to what you're complaining that I'm doing in this video. To say that 'all the other church children were molested' is a pretty bold claim, especially since I know plenty of folks (including myself) who weren't 'molested church children'. Perhaps you spoke a bit too soon in your haste to condemn ? (read carefully before you respond).
I'll definitely check it out brother but the proof is on the walls (Egypt). Have u compared religion and astrology? Our studies led us to different paths. God did not create religion, man did. We believe doctrine defined my man and kill one another over it. All the teachings are the same and I live according to Laws the Prophets teach. I judge no man, God does.
Actually, I have and anyone who says 'all the teachings are the same' hasn't done their homework rightly. I've spent time with NOI, 5%ers and a whole bunch of 'conscious' folks (I went to an HBCU) and heard all the same arguments. When I actually went and looked for the so-called parallels, I found that it was more the 'researcher' that was making STRETCHES for comparisons rather than the comparisons themselves actually existing. Head back to the CTT and read (not skim) the articles.
Word, I used to study with 5%ers and it takes more FAITH to believe that the black man is god then to believe there is a God in heaven that made man. The funny thing about 5%ers is they look down on religion yet refer to themselves as a title that clearly comes from religion...."god".
I don't know much about 5%. Isn't there a scripture about jesus asking the pharisee "Does the scripture not call us gods?" when he was charged with blasphemy? There's a big difference between religion and serving God's will. Religion is a reflection of a people's society. The evidence of God is all around us. Don't need any proof of his existence. Most religions have the same 2 basic fundamentals, Love God and love each other. Everything else is cultural.
BTW - I see your other comments a bit further down. I'm behind on my responses here and have some other things on the front burner. I'll be hitting them up in a bit.
Can you provide actual proof of your beliefs? Can you separate your thoughts from those of a goat herder 2,000 years ago? Do you have any reason besides the stories written in the bible that were stolen from other cultures? Please do such so you do not sound like a sheep...think for yourself bro...
Yes to all of your questions and I've done that line of research over a decade ago when the same questions were asked of me then (as a younger Christian). Now in return, have you taken the time to read responses to these questions ? Have you read Christian authors, researchers (not televangelists!) and scholars and CAN YOU NAME THEM ? How do YOU know that all that you've been taught with regard to Christianity supposedly 'borrowing' is true ?
Jay Z is headed for hell. Beyonce, a big phony hypocrite "Christian" will undoubtedly join him there on her big day. The last thing people like Jay Z and Beyonce will hear when they take their first step into hell, is all of Creation standing to its feet and applauding God because he has repayed them their due. Listen up Jay Z and Beyonce....God is NOT mocked. (Galatians 6:7) Amen
It is not for man to decree where another may go as God says Himself, I will have mercy of whomever I will have mercy. Our spirit, if we are of the Spirit, would weep for the nonbelievers, not condemn them. Paul said he would rather go to hell instead of a fellow brother. How can we say we love God whom we have not seen Him and hate our brother whom we do see? God says that the such know Him not. Many of us seem to forget we were bought with the same blood as the non-believers...
im Assyrian, i feel my fellow brothers are too light with J-z... Jizzz... But that said, nothing beats Da Power Of Prayer.. u DA man... defend to the death.. iz on bra... ufo,s the great deception ... fallen angels.... shape shifters...

I like most of what you said. But remember the crusades. I am Christian and God gave me and everyone else free will. just cause they don't believe what we believe does not mean they hate God. He is the one that knows there heart. Be careful slander is a double edge sword.
poleon27703 2 years ago
@poleon27703 The crusades were reactionary...to the Muslim folks who took over Christian areas. But they have nothing to do with this video or the gospel. You wanna talk history, there are plenty of black eyes go to around...which proves my point: all men are sinners, including the ones who CLAIM to be Christians (especially since Christ never said 'in this sign, conquer'). Secondly...read your bible man. Then read it again.

comparing god to santa is not hatred. i was just trying to think of another thing people believe in. santa is something children belive in and i was saying i dont belive it but i dont knock it. just like i dont belive in god but i dont make fun of people who do. bc i admit no one knows for sure and i respect other beliefs. i cant hate something i dont believe exists. and im sorry u feel that just bc some1 doesnt share ur beliefs that means its hatred. that is a very strange assumption.
abernatchez 2 years ago

MosHighMovements 2 years ago
@MosHighMovements Brother I know you are sincere, but apparently you're not well versed in any history concerning Christianity - just inaccurate critiques of it from outdated (and disproven) scholarship. First, there's plenty of extrabiblical references to Jesus by secular folks and others. Second, when you say '200 versions....If you're talking textual variants, get your numbers accurate. The rest of your statement is semi-ignorant as well. No one can 'force' a person to become a Christian...
BlackCalvinist 1 year ago
@MosHighMovements Our ancestors that were exposed to Christ here in U.S. also enslaved their own people before being reconcile to God in Christ in this country, being slaves in america was our people punishment for denying God in 1st place. Check your facts. Oh can u Prove that Nefertiti or Caesar existed, no probably not u just assume they did because someone told a story and past down to some one else. What makes those books more credible than bible it is still a story that someone told?
diragurl 10 months ago

I mean wow. The look on Jay z's face when he is sent to hell for eternal damnation PRICELESS.
TheBlackdragon936 2 years ago
@TheBlackdragon936 Dude, here's the thing - while we should take pleasure in knowing that God will judge all evil (either in Christ on the cross or in the sinner in hell) that should NOT produce an attitude of 'GET EM'. Great men like Francis Schaffer WEPT when asked about the duration of hell and the fate of those going there. Jesus wept of those who rejected Him (Matthew 23:37). Our attitude should be that of Paul in 2 Cor. 5 - we plead with men to come to a knowledge of the truth.

BlackCalvinist 2 years ago
honestly i dont see why people are making such a spectacle over word play. Like i said on pastorJustinofP4cm"s video, we live in a world where people can say and believe what ever the want. Blacks Christians = Slaves!
SettinDaRekordStr8 2 years ago
@SettinDaRekordStr8 Sure....no historical records besides a few hundred eyewitnesses over three centuries, copies of the New Testament back to the late 1st century (John Rylands papyrus, Bodmer Papyrus - P66 and P46 respectively....) and about a dozen credible non-Christian references outside of teh NT (most of which are negative) prior to 325 AD.
BlackCalvinist 2 years ago
By the way, the 'J' in Jesus is from the latin and germanic languages, which is where English draws heavily from. By telling us that 'there's no J in the Hebrew, Greek or Aramaic', you're doing the equivalent of saying 'there's oxygen and nitrogen making up the earth's atmosphere'.
Do this - go actually read some Christian literature outside of Osteen, Hinn, Copeland and other drivel. Start with Geisler, Bahnsen, Gentry, James White and move on from there.
BlackCalvinist 2 years ago
Do yourself a favor, read up on some "non-Christian" lit. Learn about the council of Nicea 325 A.D., Learn about Ptolemy Soter, Heru Auset and Ausar. Me saying that there was no "J"'s in the language of the bible means HIS NAME WAS NOT JESUS! This is pretty elementary stuff not rocket science!
The "biblical" texts are a compilation of older "holy" books from different cultures and was created for POLITICAL reasons, NOT SPIRITUAL.
If not for slavery you wouldn't even know about a "Jesus"!
SettinDaRekordStr8 2 years ago
@SettinDaRekordStr8 I've read plenty of non-Christian literature. I've actually READ the canons of Nicea, not just someone's opinion. Its unfortunate that Jay-Z used profane lyrics to dis one faith, BUT Christians dont really care much for Muslims as Muslims dont realy care for Christians and etc etc for most faiths...in fact some kill over religion. Rivik616 2 years ago
BlackCalvinist 2 years ago
@Rivik616 Secondly, I have more than a few Pagan/Wiccan friends who I dialogue with, so I think I'm fairly familiar with your belief system. While you claim not to believe in 'a God' per se, you (just like atheist folks I know of) probably don't consistently live your life like it. But that's for a long conversation on PM, not 500 characters on YouTube comments. Hit me up.

>"They kill you for converting to Christianity in Egypt."
Now that's just a blatant lie. Why do Christians feel the need to believe they are persecuted, anyway?
>Egyptians don't believe in god.
The believe in the same god Christians do.
Just.. stop. Hahaha.
zand8888 2 years ago
@zand8888 Reading (and listening) are fundamental.
I never said they kill people for converting to Christianity in Egypt. I said that in Saudi Arabia, the penalty for openly converting to Christianity is death. I also said that there are plenty of Christians locked up in Egypt who are persecuted over their faith. That is true of most countries where Muslims are the majority (i.e Indonesia). The second comment is a delusion of your mind, as I didn't say that either.
BlackCalvinist 2 years ago
Okay, no need to have a superiority complex. Yes I made a mistake with the first statement. However, you are ignoring that Christianity is a recognized religion in Egypt.
Also, am I being delusional? 2:45 "They hate god. They hate Jesus Christ." Quick lesson; Muslims believe in the same god as in Christianity and Judaism. They also believe in Jesus Christ, who they believed to be a prophet. Can you hate a god that you follow?
Showing some understanding of religion may help you out.
zand8888 2 years ago
@zand8888 Scroll back a few pages on comments. The Jesus of Islam is not the Jesus of Christianity. The God of Islam is not the Triune God the Bible teaches. It's a bit on the foolish and irresponsible side to say that they worship the same God. The God of Islam is not a Trinity and Muslims consistently accuse Christians of shirk (polytheism). That's hate. So my comments stand. Perhaps you need to take some time and actually learn about what you criticize before you hit 'post comment'.
BlackCalvinist 2 years ago
Nope.
Luckily, no one watches these videos, so no harm done.
zand8888 2 years ago
@zand8888 Nope. The 'Jesus' of Islam isn't God. The Jesus of the Bible is - in history and in belief - God the Word, the Second Person of the Trinity.
And apparently....judging from the count of comments I still have yet to weed through, plenty of people (including you) watch. Thankfully, I don't base my worth on how many people watch my videos or not. :)
BlackCalvinist 2 years ago
It's all in the view count, buddy. And that's something you're really lacking.
And the fact you upload quite a bit a bit of videos, and mooch off by responding to others, I think it's safe to say you're lying. You care quite a bit. :)
zand8888 2 years ago

BrighterThanYours 2 years ago
@BrighterThanYours Interesting statements. I've done my research. So since you've done yours, you can tell me the number of greek NT papyri extant to 325 AD, name all of the greek historians and the jewish historian who reference Christians and Christianity prior to 325, as well as give a full explanation for why the testimony of all the early church writers prior to the 300's all cannot be trusted. Oh, and since you're omniscient about the afterlife, provide proof for that too.
BlackCalvinist 2 years ago
to your first point...Psalm 82:6 I said, 'You are "gods"; you are all sons of the Most High.'..so jay is a god and so is everyone else.. we would have to be if we r created created in his likeness..its unfortunate that the church is focused on Jay-z and not reality. picking and choosing scriptures means nothing..anyone can do it..be ashamed
rawgstal 2 years ago
@rawgstal Look who's talking about picking and choosing scriptures. The context of Psalm 82 says nothing about making people 'gods', but rather calls the judges of Israel 'gods' since they held the power of life and death over men - but the VERY NEXT VERSE says that because of their injustice, they'll die like men. Nice try. LOL
BlackCalvinist 2 years ago
my dear brother in christ. u cannot make a person a god. .either it is or it isnt. We are all gods because we are in the image and likeness of the creator. Dont confuse creation(what u see) with the creator(what u cant see).this scripture does not reference a particular event my brother, its a psalm, attributed to a psalmist(Asaph). It is a poem used to convey to man that although we are inherently God we will die like adam, as did jesus as a result of our transgressions
rawgstal 2 years ago
@rawgstal God wasn't created (Psalm 90:2). We are. God doesn't die, but lives forever. We die. Again...read all of the Bible, not just parts. Man is inherently man.... not God.
BlackCalvinist 2 years ago
o my blackcalvanist..finally we agree..god was and is not created..neither is man..man was formed in the womb..unless u were formed some other way that im unaware of..and man as a species may die off but god never dies just takes on new forms...u wud never be able to profess eternal life as a man because flesh dies..so what part of u will live on my brother
rawgstal 2 years ago
@rawgstal formed in the womb is created. Sorry, no twisting the bible to make up your doctrine, friend. 6th day - created. Did not exist before other than in the mind of God as an idea, not a reality.
BlackCalvinist 2 years ago
in the begining was the word and the word was with god and was god the the word became flesh..even the idea is life my brother..there is no begining and no end..only different forms that the creator takes on..without flesh there is no experience of god as a living thing
rawgstal 2 years ago
@rawgstal You're pulling scripture out of context again. John 1:1-18 refer to Christ, not human beings.

You do know that Muslims love Jesus, and He is the Messiah, The Prophet, The Messenger, whom which God gave the revelations of the gospel, and gave him the ability to cure, bring to life, and heal the blind.....
Right?
Yet We hate God? You're really ignorant.
AbulHasanYahya 2 years ago
@AbulHasanYahya The Jesus you believe in isn't God, the Second Person of the Trinity. The God you believe in isn't the Triune God Christians believe in. Rather than being ignorant, you're being intellectually dishonest. Let's not pretend it's a misunderstanding and we believe in the same Jesus. The Jesus presented in the Bible is a different Jesus than the Qu'ran...and you believe, as a Muslim, that the Bible was corrupted and only the Qu'ran is accurate. Be honest, friend.
BlackCalvinist 2 years ago
Of coarse the Jesus we in believe in isn't God, Neither is the Jesus of many other christians. I never said believe the same thing about him. Rather I said We do believe in Jesus and the Jesus we believe in is more in sync with the reality of what Jesus was, and what he represented.
It makes entirely no sense to believe that Jesus himself was God or the Son of God, but rather through tainted bibles this misinterprentation was spread.
And Yes Your bible is corrupted. We love God.
AbulHasanYahya 2 years ago
I appreciate your honesty. A note though - anyone who says Jesus isn't God isn't a Christian. If you're talking about Jehovah's Witnesses, they are considered a cult (theologically)...just as Orthodox (Sunni and Shiite) Islam doesn't recognize Elijah Muhummad as 'God', but calls the NOI a theological aberration (a cult). To your other points - the Jesus you believe in and the God you believe in - if we sit them next to each other and describe them....aren't the same. Your own comments....
BlackCalvinist 2 years ago
....reinforce this point.
BlackCalvinist 2 years ago
you're wrong about muslim countries killing people who convert to christianity seriously though. christianity is not against the law
shugavery2001 2 years ago
Actually, I'm not. We had an Indonesian pastor at my previous church and the way their government treats Christians is very uncool. It's worse some middle eastern countries than others. Pakistan for example: watch?v=xeRsfc8_4eg Look up Abdul Rahman as well. So I'm going to need you to get your facts straight before posting.

russianthe888 2 years ago
Sorry to break it to ya, but Christianity is overwhelmingly false.... only laughable when brought up in the scientific community (yes, science makes sense, you may think there is 'more' to science, but from what we are given, science explains everything). The Bible has a large amount of contradictions and scientific fallacies. There is no proof for the Christian God. You may say I can 'feel' him in me, but this feeling is felt in all religions(mostly dharmic religions, there is even a name for it)
Arnack221 2 years ago

@ObamaKuntaKinte what do you mean by 'free will' ?
BlackCalvinist 2 years ago
Actually Dame Dash first referred to Jay as J Hova, because Jay said he was the god emcee, and Dash said "so who do you think you are? J Hova?" The bottom line is a person who follows God wouldn't dare refer to themselves as God's name.

BigJyeTV 2 years ago
@BigJyeTV who says we disagree ? Good call.
BlackCalvinist 2 years ago
I agree with most of what you said, but not about "Jay-Z and all non-believers hating God." Do you think that maybe he does not hate God, but he just does not think there is one? 16% of Americans do not even believe in a God, including quite a few celebrities, so it's not crazy to think he doesn't believe either. Usually it's not out of hatred these people say these things, it's out of lack of belief, and the annoyance they recieve from religous people everyday. Not necessarily hatred.
cyeaswtanl 2 years ago
That's hate. I actually have a vid I'm going to throw up on this very topic and I like the way you phrased your questions. If you don't mind, I'm going to use them to intro the video on this very topic. You'll understand it a bit better when I put it up.
BlackCalvinist 2 years ago
Agree completely on Jay-Z. I don't even know what the big deal is with someone who has glorified sin, covetousness, fornication, crimes and self-promotion (vanity) for years. Why are Christians surprised or even getting caught up in this?
Although I disagree with re: your verses on "the gospel." It's interesting to me that you do your "gospel" section without quoting any of the 4 gospels! Hello...that's a big red flag. Why don't you use Jesus' own words on salvation? God bless.
RizNJ 2 years ago
The whole Bible is Jesus's words. I'm not limited to just picking from the gospels when talking about salvation. :) All of the Bible - not just parts - are God-breathed and profitable for training in righteousness, reproof, correction and such so that the man of God will be completely furnished for every good work.
BlackCalvinist 2 years ago
Of course it's all Jesus' words. But I meant (as you know) when He was on Earth?. I don't think the Gospels themselves or the Bible support your versions of the Gospel.
RizNJ 2 years ago
@RizNJ Honestly, you're not making too much sense. Either you believe all the words of the Bible including Ezekiel 26:22-33, Jeremiah 32:40, Mark 1:14-15, John 3:16-18, 35-46, 5:18-24, 8:24, Acts 4:8-12, 17:30-31....or you don't.... you can't turn one part of scripture against the rest and say 'well THIS part is more important'. If I misunderstood you, help me out.

@tapsone are your thoughts physical forces ? How do you know they exist ?
BlackCalvinist 2 years ago
I love how this guy thinks that people can only either hate or love god... CRAZY. It's people like this that actually make the church look bad. How can people hate someone they don't believe exists?
I'm pretty thankful I never went to church as a child, I likely would've been molested along with all the other church children. Where was god when they were being abused by his representatives?
spirctsae 2 years ago
Now that's a pretty broad statement and a huge condemnation of people - similar to what you're complaining that I'm doing in this video. To say that 'all the other church children were molested' is a pretty bold claim, especially since I know plenty of folks (including myself) who weren't 'molested church children'. Perhaps you spoke a bit too soon in your haste to condemn ? (read carefully before you respond).
BlackCalvinist 2 years ago
I'll definitely check it out brother but the proof is on the walls (Egypt). Have u compared religion and astrology? Our studies led us to different paths. God did not create religion, man did. We believe doctrine defined my man and kill one another over it. All the teachings are the same and I live according to Laws the Prophets teach. I judge no man, God does.
Wboro08046 2 years ago
Actually, I have and anyone who says 'all the teachings are the same' hasn't done their homework rightly. I've spent time with NOI, 5%ers and a whole bunch of 'conscious' folks (I went to an HBCU) and heard all the same arguments. When I actually went and looked for the so-called parallels, I found that it was more the 'researcher' that was making STRETCHES for comparisons rather than the comparisons themselves actually existing. Head back to the CTT and read (not skim) the articles.
BlackCalvinist 2 years ago
Word, I used to study with 5%ers and it takes more FAITH to believe that the black man is god then to believe there is a God in heaven that made man. The funny thing about 5%ers is they look down on religion yet refer to themselves as a title that clearly comes from religion...."god".
BigJyeTV 2 years ago
I don't know much about 5%. Isn't there a scripture about jesus asking the pharisee "Does the scripture not call us gods?" when he was charged with blasphemy? There's a big difference between religion and serving God's will. Religion is a reflection of a people's society. The evidence of God is all around us. Don't need any proof of his existence. Most religions have the same 2 basic fundamentals, Love God and love each other. Everything else is cultural.
Wboro08046 2 years ago
@Wboro08046 I addressed Psalm 82:6/John 10:30-36 a little while back in one of the other responses to someone.

Yes to all of your questions and I've done that line of research over a decade ago when the same questions were asked of me then (as a younger Christian).
