Once again, a fabulous video by you Peter, fantastic stuff. I believe, for quality, your videos are the best I've seen on Youtube. In fact, both content and quality are second to none. You seem to have a real talent for this. 100* but 5 is all I can do! 5*. Keep them coming. Fantastic work.
This has to stop. Do you know how much time I've wasted watching your videos? I've got a website to design! Have mercy!!
On the subject of comments: I don't know if this is the same thing but I've tried to post a couple on other videos and, although all seems well at first glance, they don't get added. It's not that the comments get removed- they just don't go through in the first place.
This, and other films of the SVR, really have been a great treat. I visited it quite a few times but haven't been back in around thirty years. It's great to see it again and it seems to be thriving.
Thats very odd! For some reason four out of the eight comments posted over the past week have mysteriously disappeared from view.. I certainly havent removed any of them.. Has anyone else experienced this??
Once again Peter another fantastic video. Watching this one made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. They just keep getting better. Thanks for sharing this wonderful video for us all to see. 10/10
Thanks Martin, youre very welcome I dont know how I managed to retain my composure at Eardington! 43106 could be heard way before she came into view.. I remember thinking to myself Cmon Peter get a grip... dont mess this one up! :o)
It's those little things in your videos that make them stand out Peter, another superb example of how things should be done, and a great record of the Ivatt..Thanks...5* Bob
Hi Bob Theres always lots going on around working steam engines, so theres never a shortage of material to capture.. The difficult part at such busy events is getting a clear shot of your chosen subject. Ive been so looking forward to this loco returning to steam that homage had to be paid Thanks as always for your kind commentsPeter
Great video, i got to see her running during the gala this weekend, though sadly 43106's tender became derailed at Hampton Loade yesterday. Apparently her tender is/was leaning quite a bit and several chairs and fishplates were damaged including trackwork aswell. The locomotive and part of the train were left at Hampton Loade last night with 4566 taking passengers back to bewdley in a single coach yesterday. Services are currently operating between Kidderminster & Highley.
Very nice video and I looking forward to she her running on normal services. nice shots of her leaving shed and going into the coaches. her storming Eardington on dubble header sounds great as well. was it me or at 3:30 when you looking into the cab, the fireman just hit the shovel on the firebox door he said shit after it?
Great to see her back at last, she certainly will bring north norfolk to life when she visits home territory once again hopefully not too far in the future 5* :)
