In my mind at least, drumstep is dubstep at drum n bass tempo (i.e dubstep synths n basses and non-jungly/dnb beats at 170-180bpm, e.g. Reso - War Machine).

This tune is the opposite (slowed down jungle beats to a dubstep tempo, roughly 140bpm) which makes it 'future garage' (a dubious genre name in itself, as they all tend to be...). Either way big up skream, awesome producer of many flavours!

I'd expect better from someone with 'dubstep' in their screen name bruv. What the hell is drumstep? This track is at around 140bpm (actually think its lower than that) which is general dubstep tempo. Drum and Bass is at 170+ mate. That beat is closer to Garage than anything, which we've gotta thank for dubstep.

Any spin off names like drumstep, dubdrum, whatever people are making up are bull.
