I noticed the VS towards the middle after discovering just how awesome the plasma rifle is. I killed everyone in that level with just a plasma rifle and one VS...

i used i think a plasma gun or laser rifle on them it takes them out easily i never even had to use a vs

I haven't tried extreme on this level yet (I'm still on Mission 1 Extreme Mode =/), but I remember on Normal Mode that when you started the level to your right on the cliff there was an energy gun you could use to oust the NEVEC patrollers out of their VSs. I'm wondering if it's still there.

funny you on extreme diffculty but when you just shooting at vs right in his face, he did nothing. that one must have a very stupid AI

Sry but this walkthrough is pretty weak.
1. On pc, u dont have that VS in the beginning.
2. Play at extreme mode :) (u have lot of energy and the enemy does very little dmg)
3. You did this part with ''ignore fire'', which I did too, but my reason is cuz u run out of energy and VSs.
Put u can complete this part faster by just getting the first VS and rush to the end, u dont have to kill any1.
