  • Happy Birthday to the memory of Redd Foxx!!!!

  • go to the .27 second mark of this clip..Lamont is driving but the shadow of the tree never moves..opps...still great show..just something I noticed over the years

  • the intro never changed be cool if somebody made fan made intro of this show

  • i REALLY love this show. i have all the seasons on dvd

  • CLASSIC! Used to come home from school and watch this, and GOOD TIMES every afternoon! Don't make shows like this anymore, unfortunately!

  • Probably the best TV sitcom theme ever !!

  • @simpsonmusic i agree! :)

  • im been searching forever for this

  • scrubs

  • Why you following me Esther? There ain't no oats in these bags!!!!

  • my grandparents loved watching this. i can remember spending the night with them and watching sanford and son. they've been gone many years now, brings back good memories.

  • its still on every night after all in the family on tv land

  • @pickel133 and i watch it every night! lol

  • im sorry if im too rude

but this song remind me when "Hancock" put prison's head to another prison's ass

    lol

  • Your face is so ugly..you could make gorilla cookies with it

  • enough niggaz to make a tarzan movie up in here

  • Can anyone out there tell me how they made this music??

  • @neckpain09 i think i hear a harmonica and an organ besides the standard instruments.

  • absolutely nothing happens during this intro

  • I haven't seen this show before but heard of it alot. It seems alot like the older british sit com Steptoe and son who had exactly the same type of business going, but the local term for it was rag and bone men. It probably was an american take on it. Look it up, lol

  • @TheMarrification You are correct! It was a remake of the old British sitcom that you mentioned.

  • fred sanford and archie bunker should had been neighbors. That would had been so great if they were

  • @TheMashwatcher585 Wax on the candle, for sure.

  • @TheMashwatcher585 that wouldve been the funniest show in the history of tv.

  • @goldensparkle444 imagine mike and lamont neighbors.........2 meatheads lol

  • @TheMashwatcher585 hahaha yeah that would be funny................but then what would happen 2 julio? :)

  • @goldensparkle444 3 meatheads lol

  • @TheMashwatcher585 hahaha yeah............but then Roll would make 4! :)

  • @TheMashwatcher585 i mean Rollo not roll.

  • ilike the song also but it keeps stopping themiddle

  • One of the funniest shows of all time. Redd Foxx made Fred Sanford into one of the funniest tv characters of all time like Sherman Helmsley made George Jefferson and Jackie Gleason made Ralph Kramden. Oh it's the big one!!!!!

  • I love when Fred and Aunt Esther go at each other

  • @KatieWagnerFan You fish-eyed fool!! Love that Esther.

  • Now THIS is a classic, Redd Foxx will forever be known as Fred Sanford and BTW, this show was on when The Joker's Wild was on CBS and Scooby-Doo was on CBS and abc and also when Superfriends, The Rookies, S.W.A.T., Starsky & Hutch, Concentration, Now You See It and U.S. of Archie were still on the air.

  • "The Streetbeater" composed by Quincy Jones '73...smokin' hot.

  • In reality this show was the brainchild of Bud Yorkin, Norman Lear and Yorkin were partners. what I liked about "Sanford and Son" mostly was that it wasn't to serious, it wasn't always making political statements like "All in the Family" and "Maude"! It was hilarious, no doubt cutting edge, the cast was superb, Red Fox literally was Fred!

  • they should have used the steptoe and son theme

  • @jmm1233 love that tune

  • sweet, groovy bassline and my fav sitcom:) rip redd.

  • Love the show and the theme song. Fantastic harmonica player. An old hippie chick in Totonot,Canada.

  • isnt dat a bass harmonica dat plays in the begging after the bass gutar starts off

  • Hey...this show was cool!!!

  • Its so cool to see this. I remember watching Sanford and Son with my Sister when I was a kid. The theme song is so memorable. Thanks for posting it. It brightens my day.

  • loved this show and theme song.

  • The truck is worth lots of money and in someone's elses hands... Soemthing like that is hard to come by!

  • What ever happened to the truck it is a classic?

  • As late as 2006, the 1951 Ford f-1 Truck is still functional.

  • Disco must be making a come back. Have you seen those big silver rims on cars? What could be more disco?

  • NBC originally aired this popular sitcom from 1972 to 1977.

  • are you making good videos let me know
