Hey..I live in OZ..lots of Maltese here...your old buses are a hoot! How can you not love them?  Do yurself a favour and drown the Arriva buses...chuck em off the cliffs. And bring back the old buses....will be back to Malta soon..love the country...hot old buses, no air con..thats what windows are for...bring back the old buses!

Im not maltese and have only been to Malta twice but I would have to say that switching to Arriva buses is a bad idea. The old buses were noisy and somewhat unreliable (understandable due to age of many of the buses) but in my opinion, that was part of the charm.

We are going to have serious service but after all we still are going to miss the fun mosty in summer on the old busses such as the one in 1:45. As all every service has it Advantage and Disadvantages!

Ridiculous. Considering the large number of runs made by arriva busses the fact that you cannot produce more than two incidents is actually proof of a low rate of accidents and how safe they are! The people of Malta are glad to see the end of the old bus service

get over yourself, its about time they scrapped the Maltese bus system, also refering to the lousy and unprofessional atitude that came with it. Arriva are considered to be one of the best companies that offer public transport in the world, and for it to work it will also dpened on how the maltese consumer behaves towards it and the buss dirvers. after all its the people that make public transport work.

@sabsrule how do you like them now then, three months later? I mean they are exceptional aren't they. You only have to wait for about an hour for one to turn up, and then spend another 45 minutes standing up cause they're all full up. Really great service isn't it!
