  • They are way too young for this. They probably haven't even had their first set of shots yet. Not a good idea.

  • Brilliant we have a 4 year old chocolate lab if we walk past water he has to go for a swim or his lead will snap lol :)

  • If we can just make it under here, she won't be able to dump us in the water anymore!

  • AWWW My two chocolate labs are 2 years old and they've never swam before! I really want them to have this experience!

  • I have a 10 year old chocolate lab that is fat and a little chiweenie

  • just sad what we've done to dogs.

  • August 13th was the day of my 9th b-day i think!!! I have a choco lab to. He's like 3 though! Aren't they like the most well behaved dogs??? Mines a couch potatoe.

  • Thats great! They will be water lovers their entire life!

  • What kind of lake were you guys in?

  • @Everythingyousaw the one that has water in it.

  • my chocolate lab hates water!

  • @prettypink770 Same.

  • do you live in idauo?

  • Although I agree that her approach to introducing them to water isn't the best method. I do not believe that this animal cruelty. Labradors adore water. I have one myself and she swims where ever there is water, even in her bowl. The best way to introduce them to water is to coax them in and encourage them. Once they are more comfortable take them a little deeper in but still hold them to support and comfort. They will b swimming in no time.

  • i used to get real hungry after I used to swim too

  • To the jackasses saying this is cruelty apparently are unaware the almost ll dogs do like to swim once introduced to it. ESPECIALLY labs. They were bred for it for crying out loud! These are probably the same people that dogs should live a vegan diet..... (Yeah, those people really do exist out there.)

  • My chocolate lab loves to swim! It is so cute!

  • what the hell ur forcing them to go in the water i cant even watch its so horable

  • @TheJD0N its important they be introduced to water because that is literally what they are bred for. Labs have webbed toes and they love water. i have NEVER met a lab that doesnt. the puppies are skeptical and shy because they dont know what their doing and its their first time. the women is not harming them because they are not protesting or refusing to go in the water nor are they crying out

  • @TheJD0N No worries, labs are made to be in the water, they are a water doggie. I had one for about 12 years, and that doggie looooooooved to swim. It is what they are made for. These pups will be great swimmers when they get older. It is good they are being introduced to the water:)

  • Wouldn't that be considered abuse? Because you keep on forcing them to be in the water, they try to get out but then you pick them up and put them back in the water. Just sayin.

  • let them swim on their own dont put them in the deep end

  • just saying.. i feel like u should have put them in a little kid pool so they cud test out the feel of water and such b4 u made them swim...and let them decide to go in the water them selvs ..just makes them more confient and not scared:]

  • @supitsgab check out my pup swimming.

  • Best Dogs and definatly deserve to be the 1# Dog for 15 Years, I have one and he's awsome...Just look around, everyone has Labs! At least were I am in Massachusetts.

  • which means that the chocolate lab CAN hurt you..... even though they are little puppies, when they are older YOU WILL NOT be able to force them to get in the water... its kinda like animal cruelty, what you are doing.

  • i have a chocolate lab, dont force them to do anything, he destroyed my 120 pound Malamute in a fight.. even though the mala is a far more surperior dog, the lab has VERY strong jaws, and leg muscles

  • Tip for later... Make sure it's there idea to go into the water ;) ruined a great dog by puttin her in the water...

  • Should have had an adult lab to show they how to swim.. the would eumlate the dog.. saying 'come here' over and over teaches them nothing.

I've seen pups run in after mom at the lake.

  • labrador's are the best dogs in the world

  • @giovanniFresca They certainly are !

  • @giovanniFresca AGREED

  • CUTE CUTE CUTE!!!!!!!!

  • cutest thing you ever saw!

  • So cute! we have a creek and our 1 year old chocolate lab loves it....!
